We can never seem to stay away from sad topics for too long on this podcast, but I always look at them as a way to help this community prepare and heal from all that sadness that we usually suffer alone. So, be sure to take some notes.

My guest today is Jean Alfieri. Jean is also known as "The Dog Author" because of her numerous books revolving around man's best friend. But pet grief can come in all shapes and sizes, from furry to scaled, and it can be one of the hardest losses in a world where your companion might be the only constant... And if it's not obvious: both Jean and I have shed quite a few tears between recording and editing this episode, so don't be ashamed to do the same.
