Welcome to this episode of Just Havin a Crack.

Today we speak to journalist Pat Welsh. Growing up in Bundaberg Pat was living the life of a country kid in a great family unit.

An opportunity to work at the Courier Mail eventually led Pat to move from Bundaberg to Brisbane and take a position up with channel 7.

This quickly became Pat's passion, journalism. 
Pat's career led him to some of the great sporting events all over the world, making friends along the way.

Pat's most publisized friendship is with iconic Australian Golfer Greg Norman.

Without doubt, Pat's sliding door moment was applying for a job at the courier mail and not getting the position. Without that who knows where he may of landed?
