The Just Keep Talking podcast aims to explore the creative process, mental health, and lives of artists through sharing our stories. What is the impact of mental health on creativity? What does it mean to be a creative individual—Someone who feels deeply, experiences joy and pain intensely, and navigates the challenges of life through the creative process? With each story shared, we explore the authentic experience of our basic need to be seen, be heard, and belong. We’re not so different from one another. Through sharing our stories, we can inspire, encourage, and enlighten each other to find the true joy and fulfillment that is within ourselves. This is the connective tissue of the collective human experience. When we just keep talking, we create space for gratitude, self-acceptance, and grace in everyday life. In a world filled with divisiveness, fostering inclusivity and connection is a powerful way to make a positive impact.

You feel the love that'sin this room right now?
This show has been a realjourney into wholehearted living.
Being a musician is notjust being a musician.
You're being a business person.
You're being a coordinating person.
You know, how many heart attacks didI have in order to get to this part?

(02:03):
I really believe.
Wholeheartedly, that every singleone of us is craving to Be Seen,
to Be Heard, and to Belong.
Inside out, that's whatthis show is about.
This is from Brene Brown, Rising Strong:
"When we stop caring what people think,we lose our capacity for connection.
But when we are defined bywhat people think, we lose
the courage to be vulnerable."

(02:24):
I was like tap dancing for their approval.
And then you realize that there'sa difference between fitting
in, which is changing myselfto be like you, and belonging.
Now, I feel like I belong.
When we Just Keep Talking, wecreate the space for gratitude, self
acceptance, and grace in everyday life.
In a world filled with divisiveness, fostering inclusivity and connection is

(02:46):
a powerful way to make a positive impact.
