World events, our politics and social media are all doing their part to drive people apart. Time to discuss what are the ties that bind. If you find yourself disagreeing with fellow citizens - perhaps it's time you moved beyond domestic issues and see if you can find common ground on more international values, like democracy, rule of law, freedom of expression, even humanity to name a few.
