(00:00):
Do you ever feel like you'vetried everything to get more
clients?
You've posted on Instagram,you've sent emails, you've
spoken at events, you've enteredawards, you've joined bundles,
you've been a guest on podcasts,and it's still a bit hit or
miss.
Today's episode is about why somany lead gen strategies feel
like a slog and why?
(00:21):
The one thing I'm about to sharewith you actually works because
it's not because it's flashy, but because it's grounded in the
kind of marketing that alwaysworks.
Clear offer, right people,consistent visibility.
We are gonna unpack thedifference between being seen
and being strategic and why thisapproach is giving creative
business owners their momentumand sanity back.
(00:42):
So let me start by saying, ifyou've done all of the things
and you're still not gettingconsistent leads, it's not you,
it's the strategy, or morelikely the lack of one.
Here's what I see all the timewhen I start talking to people
who wanna work with Kaffeen.
You post on Instagram hopingsomebody bites you speak at a
thing, and then you wait to seeif any leads come in.
You send a newsletter to thesame 200 people over and over
(01:04):
again, you maybe don't even puta sales pitch or a way of
working with you or justanything to indicate that you're
actually a business that hassomething to offer.
And you do that over and overagain.
You maybe show up on LinkedInwith no real plan, just vibes,
and then even then notconsistent vibes.
And then you think, why is thisnot working?
(01:24):
So what most strategies miss isintentionality.
The truth is that moststrategies just miss the mark
for just that one reason.
So then they're just notintentionally reaching the right
people.
Maybe you're showing up, butoften to the same audience, the
same followers, the sameconnections, the same email
list.
And what actually works isgetting in front of new people.
(01:46):
Regularly who are already a goodfit for what you offer and then
starting a conversation thatisn't pushy.
It's not needy, and it doesn'tmake you wanna hide under the
duvet.
So here's why the system insideLinkedIn lead liftoff works when
everything else hasn't.
Firstly, you handpick who seesyour message.
This isn't spray and pray, man,I hate that phrase.
(02:07):
You are not relying on thealgorithm.
You're saying, I want to workwith that kind of person and I
know how to find them.
And then you literally handpickthem.
You build a list at scale ofthose people and you can go
through it and check qualitycontrol and ensure that
everybody on that list are thekind of people that you would
like to be working with, and whowant to work with you.
And then secondly.
When you reach out to them, you're offering something
(02:28):
valuable upfront.
You're not saying Hire me orLet's get on a call outta
nowhere.
You are offering a lead magnetor a training or some of the
resource, an invite, a book thatactually helps them for free.
And you also tell them whyyou're reaching out to them.
With that, you are letting themknow that other people in their
space have been interested inthat.
They found it useful.
That builds goodwill and trustfrom the very first message
(02:50):
because you are going in thereoffering something no strings
attached that answers achallenge that they already face
within their own business.
The third reason.
Why it works is that it'sautomated, but it's personal.
You're not manually doing thisevery day.
It's not depending on youneeding hours in your day
sectioned off to do this liketime blocks in your diary.
(03:12):
It's not depending on you beingin the right mood or having the
right attitude or mindset onthat day, but you are showing up
in a way that feels aligned withwho you are.
And it keeps going.
Finally, final point here, itkeeps going even when you're
busy.
So you don't have to performonline each week to stay
relevant.
You are not that singing dancingmonkey or thinking of those poor
(03:34):
dolphins at SeaWorld.
You're not having to do thatkind of performance every week
to stay relevant.
Your system is running in thebackground while you get on with
client work because it'sautomated.
So when other strategies feellike they should work, but they
don't, I dunno if that strikesyou as something that you've
been in that position in thepast.
I just wanna be clear.
Marketing, most marketingactivities aren't inherently
(03:54):
bad.
They just can't carry yourbusiness on their own.
Posting content is great, speaking is brilliant.
Email newsletters, love them andreally recommend them.
I don't do it enough.
I'm one of those people whodoesn't show it consistently
there, but none of those are asystem.
None of them guarantee new eyeson your business every week.
And I wanna emphasize the wordnew there.
This isn't about talking topeople who already know love
(04:17):
you, trust you, work with you,et cetera, or even ones who
don't work with you yet, but youknow that you will at some
point.
It's getting new eyes on yourbusiness, and especially at a
time where revenue and budgetsare drying up.
It's super important to bereaching as many new people or
many of the right new people aspossible, rather than depending
on the few who already know andlove you.
(04:39):
And unless you're a contentmachine or you have a team to do
it for you, trying to make thoseactivities, do the job of a lead
engine is gonna burn you outfrankly.
So what makes this sosustainable?
And here's the secret.
This approach works because itis sustainable.
You're not stuck in a contenthamster wheel.
You're not dependent on anagency.
You're not tied to an expensivead spend, and you're not relying
(05:02):
on sheer willpower just to keepshowing up.
You have a system that growswith your audience, builds
trust, and feeds your pipelinewith your working parenting.
Traveling, taking a nap, havinga sick day, you know it's
happening in the background.
Even if your mindset's not inthe right place, it's ticking
away.
You just need to make sure thatyou've got it running and
frankly, doesn't that sound likethe dream?
(05:22):
I dunno about you.
I've got young children.
I work part-time.
My husband is not from thecountry we live in and my family
lives far away too.
So we do a lot of traveling.
We love travel as well.
So in addition to seeing ourfamilies, we're on holidays, all
of these things.
Because I'm a parent, I don'thave the evenings to work most
of the time.
So setting those boundaries.
(05:44):
Is super important to me.
And that's why this is so muchof a dream if you identify with
the kind of work schedule thatI've got right now.
So if what you have been doingisn't working.
It is time to try somethingdifferent.
Lead LinkedIn, lead Liftoff isour done for you service.
That sets up your entire leadgeneration system on LinkedIn in
just three hours.
(06:05):
We do it together.
We write your messages, we buildthe system, and once it's live,
it keeps working in thebackground.
Attracting your dream clients.
Right now it's 900 pounds untilthe 10th of May before it goes
up to 1400 pounds.
So if you've been spinning yourwheels.
If your content isn'tconverting, if referrals are
drying up, this is your chanceto fix the flow without
(06:26):
overhauling your whole business.
And I would add to that as well.
If you just feel like you've notbeen deploying LinkedIn at all
and you've been focusing on theother platforms, this is an
opportunity to actually put itto strategic use in a way that
is gonna be building yourbusiness.
So you know, you've ticked offthat channel on your to-do list.
So all the information you needis at kaffeen.co/llo that's
(06:49):
kaffeen.co/llo.
Go have a look.
You don't need to do more.
You need to do the right thingconsistently and this is the
thing that works.
I look forward to catching younext time and hope to see you in
LinkedIn, lead Liftoff.
Bye.
