Host Taj Young ’28: The NMDP is a nonprofit organization that brings together people who can donate and who need blood stem cells. Over nine million people are registered with the NMDP but they’re always looking for more people to donate. An A&M student didn’t hesitate to take the chance to donate his blood stem cells to a woman with leukemia. Recently the NMDP hosted an event on campus to recruit more donors.
