When it comes to diversity of sound and skill, Krane is one of the bravest on the scene. He's one of the last big Soundcloud breakouts before the rise of Spotify, an artist who took on his first gig as a DJ without really knowing what he was getting himself into. The key to his success? He won't let himself overthink anything, thereby avoiding the analysis paralysis that can keep so many creatives from just jumping in and letting go.
In this episode, I catch up with Krane and chat about his latest LP "Getting Better" as well as his successful "Sessions" series which sees him collaborate with up-and-coming producers across genres and the globe, a process he finds integral to his own work ethic, and maybe a little bit of chatter about teenage guilty pleasures.
