With love, intention and an exploratory spirit, Branden Ratcliff and Jared Poythress have pushed the Vindata project to beautiful heights. Debut album 'With Opened Eyes' is a culmination of everywhere the duo has been, mixing melodic grooves with head-knockin' beats, spiritual stillness with euphoric emotion and beyond. Out on Monstercat, the team at Billboard named it one of the best electronic albums of 2021!
A few months after this interview was conducted, Vindata announced that Jared was leaving the group to pursue other creative endeavors. It's my honor to have spoken to the two friends shortly after the triumphant release of their LP, before they parted ways. They're incredibly smart and fun-loving dudes, and I hope you enjoy this chat as much as I did!
