Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello and welcome to Keep Up Alive podcast.
Today I have Gina Anayana Ilove saying your name, Anayana
with us.
She is a healer and spiritualteacher and she does a lot of
other things and we're going todive into all those things today
on today's episode.
So welcome, Gina, I'm so happyto have you on here.

(00:24):
So you're welcome and I lovethe background.
I'm going to ask about thatlater.
I was like I'm drawn to thelittle polar bear thing on the
side of you and I think it'sbecause the lighting kept
shining on it and I was likeit's pretty.
But before we get started Ihave a question.

(00:44):
It's kind of off topic but it'sgoing to be a fun question.
Out of the past five years, howmany weddings have you been to?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Probably just one.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Okay, Now, when you were there, if you were going
into the ceremony sometimesthere's something for you to
sign to let the couple know youwere attending that event what
would you be signing?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I actually I remember the wedding I went, I think
it's two years ago and uh, Ithink I signed as something like
you know, knowing like a lifeis a journey that you know, wish
them on this journey kind ofrespect each other, you know,
grow with each other and createsomething just memorable for
them and for them to share withtheir children.

(01:33):
You know, just something likethis that is so cool.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
That is so cool.
Well, one of our biggestsponsors.
Their name is Life on Record.
Their name is Life on Recordand what they do is, instead of
having a guest book, usuallywhat people are signing in, they
put a vintage rotary phone inits place and usually people
will have it all dolled up likeon a wooden desk with greenery

(02:00):
and it is the coolest lookingphone.
I wish I had it with me rightnow to show you guys.
But you pick it up, you leave amessage Congratulations on your
big day, we're so happy for you.
Or maybe it's a groomsmansaying it's about time you put a
ring on her finger.
So all these messages.
And right next to it, reallyfast, there is a QR code your

(02:21):
guests can sign to.
If they didn't want to use thephone and just use their mobile
device, they could leave amessage before or after the
event was over.
But they collect all thesevoice messages and either burn
it on a 10-inch vinyl record orthey put it on a keepsake
speaker and I call it the littleboom box.

(02:42):
So it's like having the gift ofvoice to hear everybody
congratulating you.
Now I know I always use thisfor weddings, but corporate
events, family reunions,graduations, big birthday
parties, whatever the occasion,it is a good thing to have.
So you get to keep the phonenumber, you got to return the

(03:03):
phone and plans start at $99.
So why don't you start withyour next event, choosing Life
on Record?
Visit them atwwwlifeonrecordcom.
All right, so, gina?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I love that.
I love that I might sign upthere, because we do a lot of
events with our you knownonprofit and I think it's such
a creative idea to literallylike it's fine, it's fine.
So thanks for that.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
actually, I didn't know you would talk about that,
so it's great well, I love mysponsors I I have a lot of great
ones and I love talking aboutwhat they do and everything.
So definitely, and I'll haveone midway too, so so the
biggest question is what's inyour coffee cup?
I'm kidding.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Tea, tea.
I cannot drink coffee.
It's too much for coffee.
Right now it's like late for me.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
I was like I never went off cue there on that.
I was like you know what are, what is?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
she drinking all right.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
So no, who is gina anayana I?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
want to know.
Yeah, tell me about yourself, gina anayana.
Gina anayana is a, this littlegirl inside of her that want to
bring people together in theworld.
I'm doing what she alwayswanted, you know, even though we
are an adult.
But I do feel like we are, doesn't matter how old you are.

(04:31):
Okay, I feel like when you backto hey, what's your soul
mission, what you really do, Ialways can feel like connect
with people when they were likefive, six years old.
It's so innocent, so pure, havea beautiful heart and I that.
That was.
That is what little Gina wanted.
It's like she want the, youknow, the, the community or the
village at that time, like the,the feeling of everybody helping

(04:53):
each other, everybodysupporting each other, doesn't
matter literally you are rich orpoor seriously, and that we are
here to support each other.
And I, when you grow, you knowobviously I'm not going to share
with you how old am I, but inthe last couple decades you
realize you know obviously I'mnot going to share with you how
old am I, but in the last coupleof decades you realize that you
know you travel so many places.
I travel to different countries.
Right, I live in so manydifferent cities, went through

(05:13):
so many different.
You know jobs.
Just, you realize that thisworld is not that little Gina
vision, you know.
So when you're back to askyourself what I'm really here to
do, I have two kids.
Okay, I have two little girls,so you're watching them grow,
you, you kind of reconnect withthe younger version of you is
like what the I'm doing here?

(05:35):
What I'm really doing here?
Am I wasting my precious time?
And if I only have this amountof time left, what kind of
legacy I want to leave to mychildren so they can you?
know, either pick up or justproud of their mom.
Yes, you know so that'sprobably the version of me.
So I dab into different thingsfor sure, but that's kind of

(05:55):
like I feel like in a honor myown inner child away to talk
about what I'm doing right now.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
That's beautiful and well said.
So.
But, yeah, two girls and it'sgreat having kids and watching
them grow up and seeing the miniversion of yourself.
So, yeah, I love that I have agirl and I have a boy and
they're 10 years apart.
No, I did not plan it that way,but it's interesting because my

(06:28):
daughter is at this level andshe made me a grandma this year,
so I'm watching her raise herdaughter.
And then I have my son, who's12, who is just a mastermind at
school and everything he doesand football, so I'm following
his journey as well.
So, but when you start to seethose little mini visions of us

(06:54):
growing into the person and Ibet you know sometimes just
watching them and the thingsthey say and the new words that
are coming out in the media,it's like you said what?
What does that mean?

Speaker 2 (07:09):
yes, yes, they are our teacher.
They teach us, they get us tobe updated in the world that you
know we might.
We might need a little bit oftime to understand, you know,
just like they try to understandour world and just like we try
to understand our parents or ourparents try to understand us.
Right, right yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Oh, yes, definitely, and I still think my parents are
trying to understand who I amas a person.
So you know, times change andwe grow up and get older.
And you know I was justwatching my dad.
He was singing doo-wop and Iwas like doo-wop.
You know, that makes me feellike I didn't know what that was

(07:49):
all popular back then, but justit was enlightening.
I loved hearing him singbecause that's something I like
to do is karaoke.
But so I wanted to talk aboutthe spiritual end of all your
teaching.
Talk about the spiritual end ofall your teaching.

(08:09):
Can you tell us a little bitmore?

Speaker 2 (08:10):
about what you cover and how you help people.
Yeah, so for the spiritual part, I think it's also very easy to
.
We already talk about in thechild, right, and as a reason I
always talk about in the childis actually a lot of my work is
to help you to reconnect withthat version of you, because
that version of you is the, thatversion.
When you come to this world, she's already perfect.

(08:30):
He's already perfect.
He, he or she knows whatexactly she's here or he's here
to do.
But after all the experience ofafter you're taking on the
belief from your parents, yourteachers, your spouse or whoever
, when they are at 30, 40, 50,almost like they lost who they
are, they forgot who they are.

(08:51):
So my healing practice iscalled Innocent Healing.
So when I designed that logo, when I really want to make a
name you know Also, by the way,all my business name is
channeled.
Like I will go to meditation, ask you know you were, you know
earlier we were talking about.
Like you know, ask questions ofhow you get, how you start
those things where those how Iget my message is like I

(09:12):
literally just go in.
You know, I know what I try toconvey, but I don't know the
name.
So I I saw this.
You know people meditate andit's a heart.
Because I want to help peopleto connect with their heart
center, because your heart is abridge of all the things you
receive and all the you knowyour desire and also you have
fears.
So your heart, if you cannotfeel things, you cannot

(09:33):
transmute things.
If your heart is not, how canyou grow and how can you allow
you to you know, body, toexperience certain things?
So in a sensory healing is helppeople to connect with their
heart so they can reallyactivate their heart center to
reconnect that younger versionof you, four or five years old
you, which is so, you know, justthis ball of energy.

(09:55):
You know, have bigger vision, bigger hope for the world.
Say I want to do this.
I know that you're never askingabout how would I do that.
You never would think aboutright, it's always have no, I
won't be this, I won't do that.
It's like, wow, it's so bold.
Right now, when you're a littlebit older, you're almost like,
well, what if I do this, peoplegonna think about that?

(10:16):
I'm like there's so many thislayers, layer of this limiting
belief there.
So, uh, in this practice I use,you know, breath work, shamanic
breath work.
I use sound healing, um, I useakashika, records reading.
I use data healing so manydifferent healing modality to
help people to get information, understand their life, so they

(10:38):
can unpack and reintegratewhat's their life.
But the goal is to to have theirfeel like.
You know, we're talking aboutwhether you get hurt or not.
It's not about people heal you,it's whether you heal yourself,
whether you receive, accept, respect, love yourself.
So turning their power within.
When you're within, feel like Iam strong, I'm powerful, I'm

(11:00):
heard, I'm respected, and thenyou will universe will manifest,
universe will reflect things, things in the external world, to
show you that what you believeinside.
So the whole practice thing isbring people within, the journey
within.
But journey within is notactually easy journey because
sometimes we have certain thingsthat we don't want to go to.
Something you also you don'teven remember you had that

(11:22):
memory is because we, we, wewill store them.
We call it the basement, right.
You have a treasure box.
You put all those those thingsthat you either feel ashamed,
guilt, hurt, bad, or however youjudge it.
You all put it together andthen you don't touch that part,
you know, and then your lifegoes away.
So it takes people a lot ofcourage to do those kind of work

(11:42):
, I would have to say, but thereward is great because you
really don't can feel live yourlife like lighter and free and
you feel like your life is alsohelping you.
Verse like oh my goodness, there's a life is weighing me
down.
Being a victim versus being acreator, right, so we want,
everybody want towards thecreator, but honors of

(12:03):
victimhood, because that's thepart that we got hurt and we
want to bring that part of usback.
Yeah, so this is the healingpractice part.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
See, yeah, and being able to let go of some of that
hurt, too, will open a new doorinside our soul is what I
learned.
It's like my dad even preachedthis so many times to me.
He's like try to forgive thatperson so you can move on in
life and put it, you know, away.

(12:34):
It may be hurtful, but forgivethem.
You know, and I took my dad'sadvice for many years and I've
done that.
Um, has there been a time Ididn't take his advice on one
person?
Yeah, but it's going to take mea little bit more time to
forget that one person because Iwas on TV for it.

(12:54):
Somebody else wanted the case.
That's all I'm going to sayright there.
But it was very hurtful whathappened.
But you know how you weresaying.
Things come to you just likespiritual to you.
I found that when I was aphotographer, the name came to
me.
A lot of photographers willjust use the first and last name

(13:17):
photography, but no, I wantedsomething different.
And I remember when I decidedto name my company Beyond Our
Sight Photography, because therewas just so much more detail in
sight and we're focusing on thethings that matter in life, and
I tried to show that with allmy photography work also.

(13:40):
So with the podcast, keepingHope Alive is the same concept.
And I sit here at this time andI go.
Would I still do a photo shootand do the podcast and do
everything that I'm doing?
The answer is yes, but it'sjust.
It's so funny because it's alltime management.

(14:00):
But when you learn your purposein life, you go after it.
You know why you're here inlife.
You go after it.
You know why you're here.
So it's just taking those steps.
You know what we manifest, likeyou talked, what we see, we
envision.
I did one month.
I accomplished two.
My book is done, that I wroteand I've been holding on to it.

(14:24):
I was like I don't want towrite it, I want someone else to
write it.
There is no way I would write abook.
But I said, nope, we're goingto do this.
And the other one was I wantedto move to Oklahoma.
I just didn't know when it wasgoing to happen, but the way
things aligned I was like, ohwell, here's the opening, let's

(14:45):
go find a job in Oklahoma so Ican be closer to my dad and here
I am in Oklahoma.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Wow, you are the master of manifestation.
You should share with peoplewith how to manifest the things,
the fast you know the line orline.
You talk about alignment.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
That's beautiful, yes yeah, it's all through prayer,
but you have to.
You know, there's anotherperson that I did interview,
Aline Hurd, and she was just a.
She's done that too.
So but, like with your businessand everything that you do, I
can never say it the A.

(15:20):
There's a reading, a shock, Ican't even say it.
You do those readings that aremore in depth, right.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Yeah, the Akashic Record reading is very different
.
Yeah, because it's a thought,was A you know, sometime I got
caught up on that too, but thatreading is very powerful.
Actually, that is the recenthealing modality that I taking
on, because it take years oftraining.
This is my 30-year training, sothis is probably the longest

(15:49):
training I ever had for thishealing modality, because our
teacher, she's very responsible.
We started with reading foryourself, then reading
transmuting ancestral trauma, then the reading for others,
then the next one we haveactually, she's a design.
Another course is actually, uh,called a reading for the world,

(16:09):
for the world event, for thecountry.
So each of the reading fordifferent you know people, you
will go through a lot of yourself-healing.
So I'm glad, actually, becauseI already started my healing
work, which is, you know, I'mnot just going to say, hey, I
want to learn how to read thisso I can read it for other
people.
No, I was.
You know, I already have myother healing modality with me,

(16:32):
so I did quite a lot of shadowwork with myself.
So when I start reading formyself so it's great way to have
another tool to, from differentangle, to show me what are
something I'm working on.
Then I can use differenthealing modality to actually
working on that thing.
So it's, it's a process, I, butI have to say um, with that it
can show you a lot of thingsthat you don't understand in

(16:53):
this world of world, but itconnected with some of them.
They connect with your pastlife or they can show you a
pattern that connected withanother life or parallel life,
because there's no past life, alot of life.
You are feeling it.
So, yeah, another parallelreality, it's just on different
time space, you know, indifferent, different frequency
wise.
So it's really a depth reading, but I also do, you know, normal

(17:16):
oracle card reading because youknow when you started those
hidden journey.
My journey is.
I start with Reiki because Imean I think everybody is
different.
Yeah, like universe, will bringyou um to the sequence of what
you feel comfortable ordiscomfort for you, because that
unlocks certain things for you.

(17:37):
For me is a Reiki.
You know, I went to a Reikisession because I already have
some body sensation.
I couldn't understand and I was.
I did a crystal Reiki and I Iwoke up.
And I woke up, I came out andstarted asking questions,
because you don't know who toask.
Usually right at the beginningyou have no idea what's going on
you don't know what to ask.
So when I had that Reiki and I'mlike, okay, wait a minute, I

(17:58):
have some questions, why da, da,da da?
So I went out and is thisperson kind enough, can't
explain some questions, but notfully, because I have so many
questions.
But then I was okay, you knowwhat?
I think I want to learn how todo reiki, because you go to any
time.
Reiki session is, let's say,120 dollars per session, right,
how?
many sessions going a week orsomething like that.

(18:18):
So I mean, you know what I'mgonna learn how to you know
direct this energy, becauseeverybody can you know it's just
a part of how people show learnhow to you know direct this
energy, because everybody canyou know.
It's just a part of how peopleshow you how to practice it.
So I start from there and I'mlike what is the next way that
helped me connect with thisenergy that you know you connect
, but you need a validation orreading.
Cause is very, very, you know, kind of like, allow me to see

(18:42):
what people's question when Idon't know what they're going
through, but I say the thingsthat they were going through,
they're like okay, that's agreat validation.
Because at the beginning ofyour healing journey or
spiritual journey, is that youneed the confirmation of
validation right, eventually, later you, when you trust so
much, you believe so much, youdon't need anything to validate
you.
Now, when I'm reading, I don'tneed to cause, need to cause
anything sometimes, but I doneed people's consent because

(19:07):
you're not supposed to go alltheir skin, everybody, you know.
First of all, it's not ethical.
Second of all, your energy isnot going to sustainable.
Third of all, you will not beenjoy your own human journey.
I'm here as a human body firstof all.
The most I'm a human, so right,I'm a mother, I'm gonna have
kids.
I have have plants I eat, youknow.
So I don't, you know, unlesspeople are in my, you know, in

(19:31):
front me, have healing sessionwith me, or when we talk about
something I ask consent, youlike, are you asking this for
what you know, then I will kindof open up that door.
Otherwise they are, they are, they are they are, stand back,
they don't come here too close.
They're like Gina, do Ginathing.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Exactly.
You know, and I always, youknow, for me I'm very empathic
and I don't know why people feeldrawn that I may not even know
them and they'll just tell metheir life story, but I'm a good
listener.
So it's like okay, you know, Igot this.
But I remember the first time Icould feel like you talked

(20:11):
about being a healer.
Yes, I felt that too.
But just that sense of likethis person needs to be prayed
for.
I don't know why, but somethingis going on, and I remember it
was such a strong pull for thisone person this is about 15
years ago and I said, hey, Idon't know if you're going to

(20:34):
just think I'm weird or what, but I'm kind of being led over
to you to pray for you.
And he's like, okay, and I justprayed.
I grabbed both of his hands andprayed and it was like two or
three weeks later I saw himagain and he goes, can we talk?
And I was like, yeah, he goes.

(20:55):
Well, I was going through a lotof health problems and doctors
couldn't figure out what it was.
They did find that it wassomething cancerous, but it's
gone away.
And you know, that prayer, thatprayer that you did, helped, I
think and I didn't want to freakyou out then, but I was just

(21:18):
like, well, I'm glad I couldhelp.
I was at the right place at theright time, and that's all I
can say.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Yeah, everybody's a healer, you're just sometimes
people don't know their psychicability.
Actually, two days ago, threedays ago, when I went to an
event and after events we haveafter parties, things like that
and there's the I know my friend, and then he she has another
friend there and we were talkingabout just spirituality, right,
and then he's like, yeah, I'mnot psychic and but he was

(21:46):
telling me about the dreams thathe dreamt.
Then then things will happenexactly, and then so he knows
that what's going to happen, sohe will not go to the
conversation in the way that'ssupposed to go.
And I look at him.
I was like you know what?
Can you help me define what thepsychic mean to you?
because I think that'sfundamentally some some
definition of understandingperspective a little bit

(22:07):
different and he told me ofbasically, his definition of
psychability is somebody can, uh, like, change certain things.
You know, like, use that, usethat ability to change certain
things.
Something need to be in thereality, need to be changed.
I was, you know what.
You can hear things is a wallof the psychability called a
clear audience.
Okay, so if you have yourintuition, tell you certain

(22:30):
things you already have in theknowing.
That's one of the psychabilityas well.
So it's like the abilitydoesn't need to be.
Do certain things in thereality is more of how you
receive the information.
And he looked at me.
He's like okay, I think I wantto have more deeper
understanding because I have somany questions now.
It's great to have anotherperson to you know like you

(22:52):
share with me your perspective, help me to understand.
I was like, yeah, in lifesometimes we are other people's
mirror, right, like as a keeper.
I'm other people's mirror,right like as a healer.
I'm other people's mirror likeI'm not here to change the
things that you're not aware ofand I'm not here to fix things
for you.
It's you know what you alreadyhave answered you, but don't,
you don't have tool and we, ashealers, act as some, as a guide

(23:13):
, and have a tool to help you tooperate on the things that you
agree on, you have the thingsyou not agree on.
So that's the difference isthat certain healer they they
are, they want to help isbecause they want to fix things,
which is nothing wrong withthat.
But sometimes it's not my thingto fix, it's not my say, hey,
you need to do this.
One, two, three, what do youhave these people?
Just one, two, one.
They may be in this life, theywill not even touch two and

(23:35):
three.
Maybe in next five lifetimesthey will think about consider
number two.
So it's like everybody is onthe divine timing.
So, as a healer, as a guide, asdo the spiritual work is like
everything is spiritual.
Spiritual doesn't mean I needto.
You be fully what is yourchoice?
To respect where you're at, andthen you know, see you and
accept you as the way.

(23:56):
It is not what I want.
Is that, if I, that's what Iwant, is my ego coming?
It's not about Godconsciousness, it's like what?
What's your agenda?
We always have to be clear isdo I have any agenda here?
No, I don't, then okay, greatyou know right, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
and now I mean, as a spiritual healer, I've always
wanted to ask this question andyou don't have to answer it.
It's just something becauseI've noticed it.
Have you ever been aroundsomebody where the energy was
like really bad or really reallyoff and you just wanted to stay
away like as far as possible?

(24:33):
But then you're, you're kind ofquestioning why is it so strong
towards me, why am I thinkingthis, when you're such a nice
person and it's like I don'tknow?
I know we get challenges inlife, right, but I think
sometimes it could be sent inthe form of a person also.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Depends on situations .
I think when you ask thatquestion, I can think of
different scenarios.
Let's set a stage, okay.
So if you are not aware, let'ssay, before I become a healer
which means that maybe it's veryimpasse I already have my
strong intuition.
So you encounter people who has, let's say, certain traits, is

(25:16):
really not in a toxicrelationship.
That time is actually actuallyyou know universe or whoever
they, they have to use thisperson to allow you to see the
things that you don't see.
You you know, which issometimes you are.
You're not see, ya, so that'swhy you're suffering pain.
But once you are moved to,let's say, you already did a
work of that, pick out thethings, and when, let's say you

(25:38):
already know who you are and youare, let's say, this
relationship, you meet anotherperson and when they carry this
very intense energy or maybethey have an entity, I went
through that too, like I didn'tknow what was going on.
But then, when I realized thatI'm looking to this person's
eyes, but the thing is, thefunny thing is the energy knows
when you are not afraid of it,and they will kind of back out a

(26:01):
little bit, it was a veryempowerment empowerment moment
per se it was.
It was that.
That's why I say differentstates.
So before you have a healingjourney or done any work, that
was a scenario.
You will feel drained, you willfeel kind of victim, why?
And you feel bad about it andyou feel scared.
And when you are, you are.
That's another scenario.
So now is this scenario?

(26:21):
Is you can look into thisenergy that say, hey, I see you
that you don't have power overme.
But after you go through thatstage, when you to the another
stage, is this energy.
You will notice it, but theywill not close to you because
they already know you carry thecertain things.
Universe either will help youto not have any contact with

(26:43):
this, this um beings or thisenergy, because you have people
protect you.
First of all, you don't need tolearn that lesson.
You already learned the lesson,so you don't have to learn the
lesson.
Second of all, you will feelvery interesting this person,
that you always see them aroundin the community, but they will
never be so close in your circlebecause they, your energy, is

(27:03):
not vibrating.
You know the energy cannot gettheir hands on you and also make
the light you carry is so maybe, let's say, pure straight
loving that they will not beable to even come to your energy
field.
That's, that's my.
You know, those three stages, all level of those things you
know.
So that, yeah, that would bedefinitely.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Yeah, wow, you answered that question really
good.
You gave me a lot of eyeopening on that one.
Well, real quick, I need tojump into another commercial
with our sponsor.
Um, snow bands.
I don't know if you've seenthem all over Facebook, but
they're really cool.
Um, they all have mantra words.
Um, mine says hope, and thenthere's like love, peace,

(27:48):
spiritlessness.
Um, they also have faith.
And just a hint hint, if youwant the word faith in their
discount code, you would have towrite K H a for keep hope alive
.
So that's the only way you getfaith.
And then on the back of each oneof these they have an elastic
band and when you pull it anduse the mantra word at the same

(28:12):
time, it gives a vibration thatgoes through the hand and up to
the brain to help with anxiety, depression, ptsd.
It is a proven fact that iscognitive behavioral science
that they have found that helpsyou handle all this.
Now, all these bracelets aremade with a vegan leather.

(28:35):
They're very durable.
I've had mine on for a year.
I know when I use mine it'sbeen sometimes to help me also
fall asleep.
Now I know for me.
Yeah, I have a medical PTSD andI will always say thank you,
doctor.
But when I have to go to thehospital it's not a fear,

(28:57):
because I've been gettingneedles ever since age nine, but
I'm a hard stick.
So I'm praying for the nursesthat they find a vein.
Usually it's six to eight times.
But, give or take, I'm stillpraying.
I'm using my SNAP band, but ifyou would like to look at these
beautiful bands, see whatthey're about, you can do that

(29:20):
Now.
Every band bought they give aportion out to different
foundations and groups that canhelp with this, you know,
fighting depression and anxiety.
So go visit them atwwwsnapbandscom and that is
spelled S-N-A-P-P-B-A-N-D-Zcom.

(29:44):
All right, well, let's get back, ms Gina.
So I know the other things thatyou do some co-hosting, um for

(30:05):
a show, I believe, and then alsoum.
You have your podcast, and Iwant to learn more about those
two yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
So, uh, let's start with podcast.
First, because there's aco-host opportunity, as you know
, because universe had toprepare you.
If you never interview people, you never be in a conversation
with people.
When you on the tv, now podcast, you can be just recording a
voice, right, you get acomfortable with guests and ask
questions.
And when you co-host on the tv,it's very different because

(30:34):
everything you are always in thein the screen, right, uh, and
that's that's quite challenging.
But you know, my podcast alsostarted with 2020.
You know the name also came solong story short podcast idea
came from when we were in covid, right, and we also had black
life matters and asian hate.
That was the same year.
So, as myself minority, youknow, asian my baby mixed like

(30:59):
mixed babies.
So that time I was like, okay,if the whole world goes down,
african-american doesn't havevoice, asian doesn't have voice,
those mixed baby definitelydon't have any voice.
And I was like what can I do?
You know, like, what can I do?
Like you know, yeah, thesituation is like that, but
individually, what can I do?
So I was meditating, uh, andthe name came called unity

(31:19):
through Diversity.
Because how can you unite thecommunity, unite the world, is
you honor the diversity of eachbeing, each country, each,
however, each plants or howeveryou want to call it.
So Unity Through Diversity born, the name born.
But it took me a while to evenputting the things together
because, again, I had no anyexperience about anything about

(31:43):
podcasting, right, and I wasalso in the midst of leaving a
relationship.
So my life and also I was on ahealing journey myself, like I
was the almost in the midst ofalmost end of my healing do not
end, but the most traumaticthings already went through.
So, to end up 2020 also, Istarted my healing practice.
So, the the same, the 2020 isvery eventful and I really thank

(32:08):
2020, actually.
So the podcast didn't reallyget going until probably after I
moved to a different city, youknow, probably end of 2021, I I
had a 71 episode, very proud ofmyself.
You know I interview peoplefrom all over the world to share
their stories through theirstory, to empower and encourage
other people, right.
So instead I tell you what todo, I will share with you what I

(32:31):
did with for me, so other toadvise or something they feel
called to.
So that's the whole purpose ofunity through diversity.
Now, the reason I took a pausebecause I birthed a non-profit
called united we go and thatbaby just took over all my time
and energy and everything, basically, you know.
So I had to focus on that so Ipaused.
Uh, for for a little bit.

(32:53):
Now we are bringing back, so wewe're going to bring this
podcast to this Good Karma TVnetwork.
So the show that I'm co-hostingcalled Voice of People.
So they're streaming on Rokuright now and in the summertime
we'll be on Amazon and other youknow the TV platform, wherever
it will be.
But it's a time for me to bringUnity Through Diversity back.

(33:14):
But Voice of People is thatit's a good common TV network.
Their founder is also anonprofit founder.
That are in the community, weknow each other that.
He sees me always on news andTV and magazine and fashion this
and that, and he, he kind ofperson know me as well.
He came to my podcast as wellbefore.
So when he launched this voiceof people, so he reached out and

(33:34):
invited one me and anothercommunity member in our
community to be the co-host, Iwas like yeah, why not.
You know, it's actually helpedme gain the experience of not
just doing podcasting in asetting but with direct TV, you
know you have to acting on thespot because they are live
recording and with commercialblending in just like a little
bit like what you have.
But we have eight minutes We'llcut out in and in eight minutes

(33:58):
we commercial eight minutes andthen we wrap.
So everything has happened onthe set and the good thing is I
don't have to do any editingbecause we have a production
team.
He's sitting behind the screenwhen we do everything.
He already almost everything'sdone.
He just needs to add a kind ofmaybe tune our voice down a bit.
I talk pretty loud, you don'twant peak, but other than that,

(34:19):
he's ready to schedule to the tvplatform and I had such great
fun time because it's allowed meto uh, interview people, not
locally, because with my podcastI already interview people all
over the world.
So to me is I'm not like addingsomething more, more of like I
can distributing the guests todifferent platform.
You know to, because your voicecan share on.

(34:39):
You need to diversity, but ifthey are have a non-profit or
certain they are wrote a book orhave certain program designed
to support the people.
I can also introduce them onthe voice of people and I think
well, win-win situation.
I'm not creating anotherworkload for me and I love talk.
So if they have the producerback there, post-production can

(35:00):
edit everything.
I can talk a whole day.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
You can just go edit yeah, yeah, that's really good.
Oh my gosh, you just, you'reall over the place and doing
good and um, guys, her picturefor the podcast.
Oh, you're going to take a lookat that.
She's so beautiful.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
I don't know which one I sent to you, though I have
no idea.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
In the nature, the Zen, spiritual one.
I love it.
So it's just like that was justso beautiful.
So what I was telling her?
A lot of people don't know.
I make my own podcast cover forevery show also, so I put my
heart and soul into that as I'mcreating them.
But other than that, yeah,definitely.

(35:48):
So now, if somebody wanted toreach out and get in touch with
you, how would they do that?

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Yeah, if you're a nonprofit, you can search us as
United we Go.
We are very active on socialmedia Facebook, instagram and on
the news.
So United we Go, or InnocenceThrough Healing, is also we are
on the news as well.
Last couple of years has beenon news stations so many times,
or you can just find me justGina Anayana.
I feel like everything that wedo is an extension of our energy

(36:18):
.
So when in the healing practice, like on Facebook, I call it
Innocent Healing, but onInstagram I didn't want to
create another business page forInnocent Healing because I am
the healing practice, healingpractice is in me, but I do have
Unity Through Diversity, haveseparated Facebook and Instagram
.
United we Go have separateInstagram and Facebook, but for

(36:41):
the healing practice I haveinner sensory healing Facebook
page, but Instagram, I thinkkind of like a little bit a mix
of me because I it's me, that'sdifferent parts of me, but they
all.
Healing is my.
If you ask me, gina, like if Ican get rid of or not, how to
say that?
Like if only choose one thingto do, I probably would choose

(37:03):
healing practice because this ismy sole mission and everything
else is the helping.
You know people feel good aboutit, then they start talking.
Then you have guests to sharetheir story.
If people don't feel safe totalk about it, if people are
already triggered by so manythings that don't believe their
worth and value, they will notgo out there do charity work,

(37:25):
they will not go out there toshare their healing story, right
?
So back to everything, thehealing, but also back to
everything.
To everything, to everything ismy only healing journey,
because it depends on the colorof the lenses I'm wearing.
So if I am more heart centered,if I have more love, I will see
the world.
The universe will show me aworld with more love, more hope.

(37:47):
So everything's still back tome, this little dot.
So when I start, when thisstarted, getting bigger, getting
stronger, getting more of havemy own sovereignty, you're going
to.
You have no choice.
But anybody who close to you, they will also get your juicy
energy, like you said, whypeople join to you.

(38:08):
You don't have to say anythinglike healing is not to say
people sitting down with hadsession with me sometime in the
grocery store, in the gym, inthe supermarket, on the road,
with a smile.
People really can feel yourenergy, you know, and also we're
all connected, you know.
And also I don't need to go doany healing work by me
understanding more things in myliving room.
The world is already a betterplace.

(38:30):
So back to everything is we'regoing to focus on ourselves and
be a better person and connecteven deeper and trust more and
love more and hope more and hopemore.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
I like that.
Yes, so well said right there.
So that's the one thing youknow.
There's, you know, even whenI'm at church and just where I
used to go and I love it and Imiss it now and trying to find a
new church home.
But they would talk about hopeand gratitude and love and it

(39:01):
all combines with the faith andyou know you got to take each
day for what it's worth.
I talked to another person Iinterviewed and she was right on
cue about collecting stories.
We have one chance to live inthis world and she's absolutely
right.

(39:21):
So you know, it's just thosethings that when we open our
eyes, you know we need to takegranted for what's here in front
of us and, I think, more people.
The book I wrote I'm not goingto go in too much detail, but
it's finding the peace and powerwithin you and don't let ever

(39:41):
fear take over, because it willtry.
But I'm awake, I know what mypurpose is and I love it and I
know my spiritual gift and I'mjust like people will.
Well, I think it's funny.
A family member, why do you dothis?
You don't get paid.
I go.
I do this because it comes outof the kindness of my heart and

(40:03):
I love people and I love hearingtheir stories.
I don't need to be paid period,I'm like well, you get paid in
a different way.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
You're paid by the connection with people.
You can't by feeling, you know, like expanding your own and
being giving to other people.
So yeah, but our human is sofixed on the monetary thing
which I get it, we all.
As a spiritual teacher, youknow spiritual like in the
spiritual community, you knowthat's a that's part of I would

(40:32):
say that's balance, the givingand taking, and I think a lot of
healers are starting to feelingtheir own cup, not afraid to
ask for monetary thing.
But I think the most importantis the heart.
There's no money, dollar signto on those things you know and
I, yeah, I have people.
When I on my healing journey Ihad a family member like not a
direct family member, butquestions like you know, gina,

(40:55):
you should go to find achristian based spiritual or
like christian based counseloror therapist.
I was like what, why does itneed to be christian based?
Can I be the buddha, buddhistbase, or why I need to be
christian based?
I'm nothing wrong with that, but it just when you hear those
things like I didn't evencommenting on that, like I just
want to say what they have tosay, but in my heart is I know

(41:18):
it's like I respect it.
Any religion, any culture, anycolor as long as I'll
ask questions like what?
What is your foundation ofacting?
You know, in life, movingthrough life, as long as love,
compassion, peace, I reallydon't care where you come from,
because I think you know if thatmakes sense to you, you learn
that from that.
Understand from that greatthink.
You know if that makes sense toyou, you learn that from that.
Understand from that.

(41:39):
Great for you.
If I learn from buddhism, finda peace, love and compassion,
great good for me, right.
So why we need to have to be?
I'm right, you are wrong.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
That's such a you know, opposite separation thing
and yeah you, that's one thingpeople like to tell you oh well,
we are in this religion, trythis, you know, and something
I've been a creative soul all mylife and I've always wanted to

(42:11):
see what different religionsactually studied, and I'm always
going to be a spiritual and Ido go to Baptist church and I
love it.
Nothing changes there.
But if I remember, I waslistening about Buddhism and
just you know, it was a podcast,I believe, or audio book, but I
had my AirPods and I was like,uh-huh, yeah, I get that, I

(42:34):
understand that, that, that thatyou know.
But it made me see that there'sso much more.
You know, when we're sittingthere at church, listen to the
sermon, but we know these otherfactors too, and it all comes
together.
It just makes it that muchstronger to be at that service

(42:55):
and be like I get it, Iunderstand, you know, and
hearing whatever the lesson isthat day makes it more powerful.
So, yeah, you definitely havebeautiful awareness.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
You know, like that was two years ago, five years
ago Now, I was in Sedona and, uh, it was a spiritual retreat,
but we had a spiritual quest.
Right, you go to the.
It's very hard, you cannotbring water, anything, so you
basically are there for two, three hours.
You know, soul searching, basically, uh, yeah, but but

(43:27):
then I was literally at thatmoment.
You understand that unitythrough diversity really really
showing life with me is when yougo to those places.
Right, you have big trees, small tree, flower, whatever
thing that's.
That's what are we talkingabout here is I don't need to be
like you, you don't have to belike me that big tree is never
want to be this little, like, little flower here, or this

(43:50):
flower doesn't want to be thatbig tree, like if everything has
become big tree or everythingbecomes this little flower.
So where are you going to be?
So boring, you know, but thething is that.
But there's a lot of like, uh,how to say, when you compare
things, you see the biggest, small, right, you know, yeah,
this green or this yellow, however it is, and it's a human
just filter that we're talkingabout.

(44:12):
Like, actually funny thing, Ihave glasses here.
Human feel somebody's orange, somebody's green, you know.
So it really depends.
I really want to help people totake these glasses off.
It's wow actually.
They are so beautiful.
Different colors all there and,as they all needed, the rainbow
have seven.
You know level of color, notseven colors.
It has so many colors therebecause if a rainbow just have
one color, I I bet you're notgonna like it.

(44:35):
Right.
But in the human world the funcrazy is when you are human,
you're, you know your community, you almost like when this
person doesn't like you behave alittle bit unique way.
You're almost like oh, she'snot belong here, right, like
when you have all there, you canallow the different trees be
there, but why you don't allow?
another human look like you.
It's kind of a lot of questionsthat we really can.

(44:55):
Looking back, it's like, wow,all right, what I'm learning
through the nature, rightThrough the like, you know,
water, like, how can we, youknow, bring people all in?
You don't have to be the sameas me and you don't have to
agree with what I say, but Istill love you, you know.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
Yeah, I'm still working on that, know.
Yeah, you see, and that's thething is so funny because I am
trying to put myself out therein the world to date again.
And you know, I always say, ifit does not work out, if you
know, I still would like to befriends because we communicate
well on the phone.

(45:32):
There's, you know, as arelationship coach.
If they learn that about mebefore the date and I chose not
to tell people anymore, I hadone date where the guy goes.
Can you help me get back to myex-wife?
And I remember going dear God inmy head like what do you say?

Speaker 2 (45:53):
What do you say, I'm curious coach.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
I was like so, like, so I mean, that wasn't a day.
All of a sudden it was a lifecoach session.
I did not get paid.

Speaker 2 (46:03):
You just had a one, one day.
Did you just have one day withthis person?

Speaker 1 (46:07):
yeah, it didn't even last that long.
I think I was there for like 20minutes at the most and I got
out of there because I didn't gofor that, you know it was going
to be session with you.
Yes, and then I have otherpeople like I'm actually
thinking about using that bestability and adding courses now

(46:29):
to keep hope alive.
So I've been working slowly onthat and I think hence maybe
that's why I keep waking upearly, because I'll sleep for
like from maybe nine o'clocktill two.
But if I hear something in thehouse or something in my eyes.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
Nope, we got so much to do so yeah, yeah, yeah,
definitely.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
Well, I want to say gosh, gina, it was so nice
having you on and learning allabout you and what you do and
stuff, so I'm glad you came on.
I want to follow up within ayear with you also and bring you
back.
Oh, yeah, definitely.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
I would love to have you to our podcast as well.
You know, we have differentplatforms here, so we definitely
can collaborate, you know more.
Check in with me.
I want to see a year laterwhere I will be, because life
goes so fast and sometimesthrough those conversations
you're like, wow, last year youknow you were this, you were
talking that, and this yearyou're already there.

(47:27):
You know, I love thoseconversations, definitely.
Well.

Speaker 1 (47:30):
I love the person I interviewed.
When I talked to her last year,it was about manifest what you
want and she did it.
So she came on to the showagain and we had an interview,
but I think she gave me theencouragement I needed to and

(47:51):
kudos to her.
And then, along the way, out ofall the interviews, I did
hearing people go no, you shouldwrite a book.
And you know, my book wasreally hard to write for me
because it's based on a truestory and I didn't want to
relive some of the moments.
But the lesson I learned fromit was so powerful and it's

(48:13):
enough reasoning to startteaching.
And so I decided to say, okay, well, I'm going to sit down and
I'm going to get this book.
And I was just riding away wheneverybody was asleep in the
house, nice and quiet, with acup of coffee going, I got this.

Speaker 2 (48:31):
To you.
It's so empowering.
And you know, follow yourintuition, follow your calling.
You know you are living yourlife, you know.

Speaker 1 (48:39):
Yeah, definitely so.
