Yaaaassss, Weirdos!

Welcome to SPOOKY SEASON!!! You know what that means.  Pumpkins.  Horror movies. Ghouls.  Girls, gays & theys!

This week is a very special episode where we are celebrating QUEER HORROR!!

Our special guest this week is an American author, playwright and theater director of (get this) HELLGATE HIGH Mr. Laramie Dean!!

We are exploring the horror genre all the way back to the gothic novels of the 1800's to the campy gore of the 80s and to our explicitly queer films today.  The LGBTQA+ community has always found representation in the horror genre - sometimes they had to hide their queerness, sometimes they got it WAY wrong but nevertheless their stories and films have inspired generations of us throughout the last century and a half and for that we are eternally grateful!

So join us as we chat Mary Shelley, James Whale, John Waters, Interview with the Vampire, Chucky, and so much more.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
