to understand.
You've worked hard for yoursuccess and now it's time to

(00:44):
keep more of it.
Let's dive in.
Welcome back to the Keep MoreMoney podcast.
I just got back from anin-person mastermind and let me
tell you.
Every single time I put myselfin a room like that, I walk away
with clarity, ideas, andconnections that I never could
have created on my own.

(01:05):
I'm reminded just how worth itit is to be away from the kids
and coordinate extra childcare,be away from the work tasks on
my never ending to-do list, andinvest the extra funds needed to
be in the Mastermind and travel.
And it reminded me of somethingelse really important.
I had this thought while I wasthere.
Wealthy women, which I don'tthink wealthy just means

(01:28):
financial.
I think it also means emotionalwealth, physical wealth, health,
right?
All the things.
Wealthy women don't try to do itall alone.
They know that community is theshortcut to success.
And community can take on manyforms and fashions.
But the bottom line is when youisolate yourself, everything

(01:49):
takes longer.
And I really believe that thereis a difference between being in
just a boxer group, being onjust a group zoom call.
It's just not the same.
And so I really believe thatyou're wasting time and money
trying to find answers that arealready in this room with the

(02:09):
other women who are alsobuilding, growing, and learning
alongside you.
And so maybe some are ahead ofyou.
Maybe some are.
Just in the same space as you.
And sometimes I think we getthis little naag nagging feeling
like, Ooh, I'm behind.
I, I don't deserve to be in thatroom.
But I promise you that is so nottrue.

(02:31):
Everyone is ahead or behind incertain aspects of life and
business.
And when you put yourself inthis room, I promise that is
when you start to move faster.
It's also when you.
Stop feeling like you're theonly one, like you're the only.
Woman, business owner out therefacing challenges, you realize

(02:54):
you're not the only one behindon your taxes.
You realize you're not the onlyone afraid to be visible and
show up on social media becausewhen you're in the room, like
actually in the room, shoulderto shoulder with other women,
you realize you're not behind, you're not broken, and you're
most definitely not alone.
In the majority of yourfeelings, you see that other

(03:15):
women are facing the samestruggles.
And what's so cool is you get toborrow their wisdom, their
encouragement, and sometimeseven their shortcuts.
And that's why today I wannashare with you four reasons
community.
Is the shortcut to success.
And so by the end of thisepisode, you'll know exactly why

(03:37):
putting yourself in the rightrooms can change everything.
And it does change everythingfrom saving you time and money
to creating opportunities younever could have planned for.
I wanna start by taking youinside the room.
I just came from.
This was a five figuremastermind I invested in.
Yes.
Another one.
If you happen to be, keepkeeping track.

(03:59):
And here's what blows me awaywhen I walk into those spaces
and it is the conversations,it's the power that comes from
like looking into their eyes, like face to face like human
bodies.
And I heard women talking about.
What's working well in theirbusiness?

(04:20):
I heard how they structure theirteams, what investments are
paying off and which ones aren'teven how they're approaching
things like money, mindset, personal growth, mornings at
home as moms with kids.
It's, and within the first fewhours, I already had ideas I

(04:43):
had.
Solidarity, Things that Icouldn't have gotten if I didn't
get in the room.
we actually did an exercise thatwas like really an aha moment
for me.
And while there were tons ofahas over the three days,
there's really one that sticksout to be the most and.

(05:07):
I'm not sure.
I can't remember if I was taggedin it, but Becca saw it and she
was like, oh my gosh, you'recrying on Instagram.
And I was like, well, I didn'tpost that.
But she knows that I'm not a bigcrier.
And one of the things that Ilearned on this retreat, we, a
lot of us learned that crying isokay.
Crying is a form of release.
It's, it's an okay emotion.

(05:28):
To have, and I'm having torewrite some stories that I tell
myself about, you gotta betough, Kimberly, no crying.
You know, you're in a man'sworld kind of thing.
And instead really sitting withthose emotions and those
feelings.
And so when this happened, wewere sitting outside and we were
doing this exercise called, Isee you, I acknowledge you, We

(05:53):
started going around and thepoint was to say something that
you feel you are notacknowledged for and you want to
be acknowledged for.
And so as the women weresharing, I think I was like
number eight outta 12 ish.
Just hearing them and supportingthem, the emotions were starting

(06:14):
to build up.
And then by the time it was myturn, the emotions were there I
said I want to be acknowledgedfor how much I care about
everyone and everything,sometimes too much.
I care so much about my clients.
Their businesses, their success, their experience with us, the

(06:37):
results we get for them.
I care so much about my team, mybusiness, my family, my kids, my
husband, my friends, my family.
I care so much and I go to suchgreat lengths to try and also
show that, and I feel like it isnot acknowledged, much less
reciprocated.

(06:57):
And then what happens is.
Everyone else in the circle inthe room says, I acknowledge
that you care so much, right?
And they're supposed to sort ofrepeat your words back to you so
that you can feel that.
But what also happened isbecause we had already been

(07:20):
together for two days, theseincredible women added in more
like the proof.
That they, they weren't justsaying the words back to me.
They were inc.
Unknowingly, including the proofthat, validated that.
Yeah, gosh.
Like I'm not making this up inmy head how much I care.

(07:42):
And they've seen it andexperienced it in just two days.
that was just one aha moment forme.
But I've had others.
I had, of course I had others onthis mastermind retreat and then
I've had others in, in otherrooms as well.
But there's just so many ahamoments.
another one that kind of comesto mind is we were riding in the

(08:09):
bus and my new friend Anna saidshe was from Birmingham.
And I was like, oh my goodness, this could go one of two ways.
This could go one of two ways.
And if you're from the South, you know where I'm about to go
with this.
And so I was like, all right,we're Eagle.
And she looked at me ice big andsaid, we're Eagle.

(08:30):
And you know, if you're familiarwith the Alabama Auburn rivalry,
it was, it was gonna go one oftwo ways.
And so thankfully it went.
Well in my direction.
And I was like, when were youthere?
And and so come to find out, shewas a year behind me.
She was in a different sororityand I don't know.
I mean, maybe that would've comeout at some point in a Zoom

(08:50):
room, in a Voxer chat, but I'mhonestly not sure.
I'm not sure.
And how cool is that?
And so then.
Anna and I were the last two inthe Delta terminal sitting
together because you have totake a ferry back and so other,
some other ladies had an earlierflight and so we were just

(09:12):
sitting there for pretty muchlike three hours.
And so we were just kind of,like decompressing, winding
down, processing all of thethings that had just happened
over the previous three days andin an hour.
I don't even know if it was thatmuch sitting there.
Just kind of like we wereprocessing, okay.
What, what are the next thingsthat we need to do?
How do we slow down?

(09:32):
How do we give ourselves morerest?
And essentially sitting in theDelta terminal with her people
all around us, I was like, youknow what?
I think I'm gonna pause somestuff.
I ran the numbers I had donelike a quick, quick analysis of
like our monthly recurringrevenue, our monthly recurring
expenses.
And I was like, we can, we cantotally do this.
We won't have a lot left over.

(09:53):
But we have enough, we don'thave to sign one new client.
And that's a really coolfeeling.
And she was like, yeah, you needto pause.
And I was like, yes, I need topause.
And she was like, okay, so whatare, like, what are the steps
that you need to take to pause,to get stuff off your back, to
delegate, to and it happened, ithappened, this brand new person,
but who got me, who was doingthe same work that I was doing?

(10:14):
And that's why I say communitychanges the way you see
yourself.
When you're isolated, do youthink the problems you're facing
mean that you're behind oryou're broken?
And Anna was sitting therebasically like different niche,
different set of problems butneither of us were behind or
broken.
Our problems were normal.

(10:36):
They were solvable, and theywere shared.
And that's why community is theshortcut to success because the
truth is.
You don't need to learneverything the hard way.
You don't need to sit alonesecond guessing yourself.
You need to be in a room wherewomen are willing to share what
they've learned and cheer you onwhile you take your next step
and sit there and blist out the10 things that you're gonna do

(11:00):
in order to take that next step.
And so that's exactly why Iwanna share these four reasons
with you today.
Reason one community saves youtime and money.
When you're in the right room, you skip so much trial and
error.
You work through your feelingsand emotions faster.

(11:22):
Instead of spending monthstrying to figure something out
on your own, you could get theanswer in maybe five minutes
from someone who's already doneit or a coach who can walk you
through something.
And so instead of wasting money, testing the wrong strategy
instead of wasting money becausetime is money.
You learn from someone else'spossible mistake or insight that

(11:45):
they have.
And so that's a shortcut thatwealthy women take all the time.
They don't waste yearsreinventing the wheel.
This makes me think of when Iwas thinking about this one, I
was thinking about Melissa inthe Make Money Moves Mastermind.
She, our other mastermind memberVeronica, had posted asking me a

(12:06):
question about.
Rental real estate and somethings like that.
And before I could even answer,Melissa chimed in and be like,
Ooh.
It was like, Ooh, I, I wannaknow about this too.
That's something I'm interestedin.
And so two things happened here.
I learned something new aboutMelissa and her goals that she
hadn't yet mentioned.
And Melissa got insight ahead oftime about rental properties and

(12:31):
what that could look like forher.
And that absolutely neverwould've happened if.
They weren't in the samecommunity together.
And so that's gonna save Melissaso much time and money right
there, And so that's why I saycommunity always saves you time
and money.
Reason number two is thatcommunity gives you

(12:51):
accountability.
I think that it's easier to hidewhen you're alone sitting in
your office, your home office.
Yet, like it's it's easier tohide, it's easier to feel
embarrassed about your numbersor avoiding something in your
business when no one knows.
But when you're in a room whereother women are being

(13:13):
vulnerable, they're facing thesame challenges and talking
about them openly.
You're more likely to share yourchallenges, to be vulnerable and
then follow through on thethings that you need to do to
take action.
And so I believe thataccountability protects your
profit.

(13:33):
When you're surrounded by womenwho normalize paying attention
to money, who normalize, askinghard questions, making smart
moves, you start doing it too.
this makes me think of ourclient, Nicole, who she kept
rescheduling her call andbecause our clients have
multiple calls with usthroughout the year, but she

(13:53):
kept rescheduling, rescheduling,rescheduling.
And so finally she showed upand, she told Becca, she was
like.
I didn't know that this wasgonna be a therapy session.
Okay.
You can sit with me v's.
Here with us today, because funfact, I hit, didn't hit record
the first time I recorded thisepisode, so now she's awake.

(14:14):
but our client, was like, I feelso much better.
And she was like, this isn't.
Hard.
This isn't something I shouldhave been scared to talk about,
like I feel so good, soenergized after this 25 minute
call.
I'm so grateful that you held meaccountable to continue

(14:36):
reminding me to, to book it andnot just letting me off the
hook, and so community.
Gives you accountability.
Reason number three, communitycreates opportunities.
Some of the best opportunitiesdon't come from cold outreach or
ads.
They come from conversations,referrals, collaborations.

(14:57):
Someone you met in a room saysyour name in another room, and
so one connection can meanthousands of dollars in revenue.
And the right connection cancompletely change the trajectory
of your business.
my friend Amanda, who asked meto sponsor Boss Vision Con, we
had met, somebody had introducedus two or three years prior, and

(15:19):
so it just felt aligned for usto sponsor her event.
And then she asked me to alsospeak on a panel and she had ho
she was hosting an attendeecall.
one, like one week before theevent, it was like a Zoom
virtual attendee call beforeeverybody would meet in person.
And then right after thatattendee call, we had a speaker
call.
I didn't, I couldn't make theattendee call'cause I was at the

(15:39):
doctor with Beckett, but Ihopped on the speaker call just
a few minutes late and she toldme, she was like, oh my gosh.
Hey Kimberly, I just said yourname on the attendee call.
And so many women like eitherknew you or knew of you and they
were singing your praises andthey are so excited to meet you
in person and to hear you.
And I was just like.
Wow.
I didn't say that out loud onthe call, but I like, I thought

(16:02):
to myself, I was like, whoa, whoa.
People know my name.
People are talking about me, andthey're saying good things,
right?
Like it's just, that's, that isthe result three years, the last
three years of putting myselfinto rooms, putting myself in
uncomfortable situations, leaving my kids and going and
getting in these rooms.

(16:23):
Because it does createopportunity, and it may not be
instant, but it will happen.
Reason number four is thatcommunity helps you think bigger
when you're by yourself.
Your goals are based on what youknow, what you've heard, what
you've experienced, but whenyou're surrounded by women ahead
of you who maybe aren't evenahead of you.

(16:48):
In totality, but in one area.
Even women who aren't ahead ofyou, but they're dreaming bigger
and they're taking bold actionfor those dreams, it shifts what
you see as possible.
And I fully believe that beingin the room elevates your
standards.
It pulls you forward.
It gives you permission to wantmore.

(17:10):
Whatever more looks like.
'cause more doesn't always haveto mean more revenue.
More could mean more peace inyour life.
And usually it's gonna give youthe tools to achieve it too,
right?
And so it's weird because Ialways try and think about what
are the takeaways?
Like what did I walk away with?
And a lot of times when I'm in aroom or I go to an event, I'll
walk away with the typical let'slaunch this new ad campaign.

(17:32):
Let's rewrite this offer page, let's tweak this.
SOP, this, we need to changethis in our org chart.
But I didn't have any of thatfrom this.
Particular experience.
it's more of like a permissionto pause, kind of how I was
telling you with Anna, right?
Like it's it was a permission topause.
It was a permission to holdboundaries to say to remind

(17:54):
myself that I'm good, like I'm,my firm is sustaining.
And just because, Other peopleare hustling, doing more,
growing bigger, super fast, thatthat doesn't have to be me.
And so it, it was a, it wassomething that I absolutely
needed, sort of like a reset.
But again, it definitely helpedme think bigger, just in a
different way from what I'm usedto.

(18:15):
And that's why honestly I kindof joke about oh, another
mastermind.
But they all serve a differentpurpose, right?
One is more of that tactical, like how do I think bigger from
the marketing perspective.
I'm in other communities whereit's let's just be here
together, like just supportingone another.
And then I have this one whereit's like, how do I hold, have
more capacity to hold, more, togrow and to grow myself?

(18:38):
Because as I grow myself as aperson and a CEO, Everything
else comes behind that, right?
Falls into place because ofthat.
And so the big reframe that Iwant you to walk with today is
that success doesn't happen inisolation..
And again, like I wannareiterate that being in com,
virtual communities, getting onZoom calls, having coffee chats,

(18:59):
being in boxer groups, all ofthose things, they're really
great, but it's not the same aslike physically rubbing
shoulders with people.
And Sam even said that in.
Our Voxer group.
'cause I had said while we werethere, I was like, y'all.
'cause I was the only one whohad really been to other
in-person retreats out of thisgroup of 12 ladies.
And I was like, the Voxer groupis gonna change.
Like you're gonna feel it, it'sgonna be so different for the

(19:22):
remainder of the five monthsthat we have in this container
together.
And Sam said that two days afterwe had all gotten home, she was
like, Kimberly was spot on with.
The vibe, the fact that the vibein the Voxer group was gonna
change for the better, but thewomen who keep more money, who
build wealth, who grow theirbusinesses faster, they're not

(19:44):
doing it all alone behind theirlaptop.
They are putting themselves inthe right rooms.
They're surrounding themselveswith the right people and
letting community pull themforward.
They're making the investment inthemselves and their future.
so I just want you to imaginefor one minute if you could
close your eyes if you're notdriving or doing something.

(20:04):
want you to imagine that you'vebeen in this mastermind group,
you've been chatting with thesewomen.
You've had one zoom call, you'rein a boxer group, but you've
just arrived to the room whereyou're about to walk in and meet
them all in person for the firsttime.
You pause before you walkthrough that door because you
have a twinge of nerves.
You have a few butterflies inyour stomach, and so you're

(20:25):
like, Ugh, that that momentmomentary pause, and then it
happens.
You cross the threshold, you'rewelcomed with open arms, and
within less than an hour, you'resitting on the couches with
these ladies and you feel likeyou've known them for ages.
You don't have to explainyourself.
You don't have to explain yourbusiness.

(20:45):
You don't have to prove thatyour goals are valid.
You don't have to validate yourwhy.
You don't have to share whyyou're worthy.
Everyone there understands thechallenges and the winds of
building a profitable business.
They get you.
They get all of you, and moreimportantly, they're cheering
you on and suddenly the lightbulb turns on and you breathe

(21:07):
deeply as you embody someone whois no longer alone.
Imagine how much later you'dfeel knowing other women.
Are asking the same questionsabout money, boundaries, team
growth, visibility.
Imagine being able to borrowtheir courage, their strategies,

(21:27):
and their lessons so you don'thave to figure out everything by
yourself.
And now I want you to take it astep further.
I want you to picture whathappens after you leave that
room.
You don't just feel inspired.
You're clear.
You feel seen.
You feel heard.
You have ideas, solutions thatare gonna save you months of

(21:50):
trial and error.
You've had personalized coachingthat is gonna save you thousands
of dollars.
You've got new accountabilitypartners who are gonna check in
on you and keep you movingforward.
And maybe just maybe.
You've built connections thatwill turn into collaborations,
clients, or opportunities thatyou couldn't have planned for if

(22:11):
you tried.
You have friends, friends whoget exactly who you are, where
you are in this season ofbusiness and life, what you're
trying to accomplish.
Because this entrepreneur stuff, man, it hits different and it
hits different again when you'realso a wife, mom, caretaker.
It's a lot.
But one thing wealthy women knowis that community isn't

(22:34):
optional.
It's actually part of thestrategy.
'cause when you're surrounded bythe right people, you think
bigger, you move faster, and youhave the strategies to do it.
And that's what I want for you.
And so if you've been listeningtoday thinking, I wanna be in
rooms like that, rooms thatstretch me, support me, and help

(22:55):
me grow, that's exactly why Icreated the Make Money Moves
Mastermind.
And this is your invitation.
It's your time to get in theroom where growth actually
happens because the Make MoneyMoves Mastermind is where
strategy meets support.
It's designed for womenentrepreneurs who are ready to
keep more of their money, buildreal wealth and step fully into

(23:17):
the role as a confident CEO.
I created this mastermindbecause.
There are some incrediblebusiness ones out there, but
none of them start with moneyand finances.
That part is always a byproductof the Mastermind, but what if
you got intentional with yourmoney, finances, and tax
strategy as a profitablebusiness owner first before

(23:39):
anything else?
And so inside the Mastermind, you get access to the kind of
strategy that's gonna changeeverything, right?
Personalized tax and businesssupport, mentorship,
accountability, and a communitythat understands what you're
going through.
You'll be surrounded by womenwho are also scaling investing
and leading boldly, and so theyget it.
If you've ever felt likesomething is missing from the

(24:02):
rooms you're already in, or youare not having the strategic
money conversations that youknow are the next step to
unlocking true wealth buildingand financial success, if you're
craving more access to mymillion dollar brain, as
everyone calls it, this is yourmoment.
This is your moment, yourinvitation, so don't wait.

(24:25):
Don't keep wasting more time.
Send me a DM on Instagram.
I'm at Kimberly Terra cpa so wecan chat and see if you're
qualified for a limited spot inthe Make Money Moves Mastermind.
I wanna chat with you and ifit's not a good fit, I'll be
honest with you, and maybe it'sjust, it's not a no, it's a not
right now.
Not quite yet.
And so as we close out today'sepisode, I really want your

(24:46):
takeaway to be that you don'thave to do this alone.
No, let me say that again.
You shouldn't do this alone.
Period.
Wealthy women.
And remember, I consider awealthy woman to not just be
financially wealthy, butemotionally wealthy, physically
wealthy, mentally wealthy.
They know that community is theshortcut to success, and now you

(25:07):
know it too.
And so it's your turn to stepinto the room and watch how
quickly things can start tochange once you do that.
And so that's it for today'sepisode of Keep More Money.
I can't wait to chat with youover on Instagram and welcome
you into a room that is readyand waiting for you and the next

(25:28):
evolution of yourself.
