In this exciting conversation, Jeff talks to Omri Toppol of Temple Mount Soil (https://www.templemountsoil.com) a business developed to raise funds for the Temple Mount Sifting Project in Jerusalem and to get the precious soil that was carelessly removed from the Temple Mount into the hands of those who really care about it.
When Muslim authorities of the Temple Mount permitted 250 Truck loads - over 5000 tons - of soil to be removed from the Temple Mount and dumped in the Kidron Valley without any proper archaeological excavation, the Temple Mount Sifting Project began. Since then, Archaeologists and volunteers have been carefully sifting through the discarded soil and have discovered 600,000 precious artifacts, many of which are directly linked to biblical and Jewish history on the Temple Mount.
Although the soil from the Temple Mount is considered "garbage" to Muslim authorities on the Temple Mount, it is precious to those who revere and respect Jewish and biblical history on that sacred Mount - the holiest place in Judaism and a site that has special value to Jesus and to Christians everywhere. In order to raise funds to continue the excavation process, Omri has founded TMS which collects certified soil from the Temple Mount that was discarded, and markets it to those who treasure biblical history.
