Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay.
Keith here from beat the casino.
Hey, I'm here with RonDiBenedetto, the author of
precision black Jack.
He's put together a real niceprogram.
He just went through over thelast year, uh, from working in
Atlantic city.
Um, and uh, put together as newprecision blackjack program, all
updated with new videos, um, new, uh, manual and updated manual.
(00:27):
Put together a nice package forthose interested in blackjack.
Uh, Ron, how you doing?
I'm doing good Keith and now youhanging in there brother.
Ah, so, you know, precisionblackjack has been around since
probably 1922, no, I'm sorry, 19, uh, 1995, 1995.
When that decision blackjackcame out and uh, you know, it
(00:49):
dealt with a lot of the, uh, carclumping things that they were
seeing in the 90s.
And you try, we tried to, uh,you, you tried to exploit that
and summarize everything in themanual.
And I think now with it beingtweaked in blackjack, getting
popular again, it certainly isrelevant for you, uh, to, to
bring the manual, uh, to theforefront again.
(01:11):
I know you've made some changes.
Um, what, what do you think, what was the biggest influence,
uh, for you to bring this manualagain?
I know you work in Atlanticcity.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Well,
Speaker 3 (01:26):
it's been a passion
for many years and, uh, you
know, with this gambling boomgoing on, there's casinos being
built every day, everywhereacross the country in the world.
Uh, I, I thought, you know, it'stime to, uh, bring blackjack
back and, you know, cause it wasa lot of flavor there for a
while, especially when the pokertook over years ago, everybody
(01:47):
seemed to gravitate towardpoker.
And, uh, I even saw you on mysales and the precision
blackjack course, you know, theywere going down as poker was
going up, but now, you know, blackjack seems to be back in
flavor.
Uh, it's still a tough game, butit's a good game.
And, uh, we're, we've taken alot of the gamble out of it and,
(02:08):
uh, I have this manual, you know, this course designed to make
you a professional blackjackplayer.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah, it's a, it's a
good course.
You know, as I said, it dealswith, uh, you know, the, the
card clumping or the non-randomaspect.
So if you're interested in thatnow it doesn't work in every
game, but it does work in a lotof games and uh, uh, you know, I
, I think it's verycomprehensive how it's, I, I
know how many, you condensed ita little bit.
(02:36):
How many, uh, pages is themanual now it's a hundred and
Speaker 3 (02:41):
112 and feeling like
a bought 105 hundred, 1,000, 12,
something like that.
Condensed from the original 333pages.
Yeah, I mean, so I like, youknow, rev really left nothing
out.
Uh, and we're just loaded withtools.
And you know, you, you mentionedthat the card clumping Keith and
you know, to me card clumping, you know, it, it's, it's there,
(03:04):
it's an in shoes, it's an entireshoes.
It's in sections of shoes.
You know, it's our job to justmonitor this clumping and, and
use it as a tool.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Exactly.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, most of the times we arestill playing straight basic,
wouldn't you agree?
Speaker 3 (03:17):
For the most part, I
would say 90% of the time we're
playing a straight basicstrategy type game.
Now keep in mind a good game's,a good game and a bad game is a
bad game.
So, you know, remember we canleave a table and a dealer can't
until they get there, theirbreak and you know, the deal is
plays mindless dealer strategy.
And of course their biggestadvantages they hit last.
(03:39):
Yeah.
So, you know, we, we gotta be upon top of what's going on, you
know, really just with our handversus the dealer's hand, you
know, if she break in or is shenever breaking?
Are we beating the dealer on theboard or she beaten us on the
board, for instance.
Are we getting 17 she gets 18 weget 19 they get 20 you know,
we're getting standing handsthat are people that are winning
(03:59):
and they ought to just put asign up key saying, you know
what, I'm hot.
You're not, I suggest you leavethe table.
But of course they won't dothat, you know?
So it's our job to, uh, to playunder our conditions.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Yeah.
You know, and it's the samething that we talk about.
You know, when your black techstyle is, I talk about it'd be
to casino, you know, I mean, wecan regurgitate the longterm
odds in what way we all know, you know, what should you dead
longterm odds playing everygame, you know, but we're, we're
playing, you know, w we'regeared towards a player who
wants to go in, uh, you know, plays maybe four or five times a
(04:36):
year or a little bit more.
You're not going in for the longhaul.
You're not gonna go in for them1%, or at the most, uh,
advantage over the long haul, counting cards and playing any
game you want to.
We're looking for assignablecause, and we're looking for one
of those clumped games and whenyou can capitalize on it and,
uh, you know, make a couplebucks for it, it's a real art
and science in and of itself.
(04:58):
And I don't want to say it's anart.
Uh, you know, it is a scienceand you're looking for
assignable.
Cause you know, when the carsare non-random, uh, there's a
certain better way to play them.
There's, there's no doubt aboutthat.
You can argue to you're blue inthe face and a lot of the card
counters don't believe in carclumping, but you know, you can
walk down and simply look at it.
(05:18):
Um, and they say, show you that.
I've asked, well, come on downto Atlantic city and we used to
have seven player games, butthey've cut them out quite a
bit.
Um, and you had mentioned aboutthe advantage that, uh, the
dealer has.
Of course, you know, the bigadvantages is, is the, you know,
when you tie the dealer with thebrake, the dealer wins.
You don't get your money back ifyou break.
(05:39):
And then subsequently the dealerbreaks the, the, uh, the dealer
keeps the money.
So ties, you basically loseblackjack.
Um, especially on break or not,not especially actually on
breaking hands, but the, youknow, the, the manual was very
comprehensive.
You did some videos.
I think that, and we're working
Speaker 3 (05:58):
on more.
Yep.
Okay.
Uh, and I think you demonstrate,uh, what a, uh, a non-random
situation will be.
I do okay in the video andexplain how your thought process
process is while you're, I callthat round around analysis.
And again, I, I keep using thisphrase, we're, we're, we're
simply looking at the paint onthe table, if you will, and I
(06:22):
mentioned this before, maybe Ishould just call this course,
the paint on the table blackjackapproach.
You know, you can't disputeempirical, non disputable
suitable evidence.
This doesn't mean we're fortunetellers.
This just means that we're goingto use a tool, our disposal to
diffuse these advantageoussections of the shoe that the
(06:42):
deal where it takes advantage ofit.
And then the house thrives on, Ishould say we're, we're gonna
take some of the gamble out ofthe gamble and we're going to
get our hands one percentage updrastically by doing this.
Okay.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Well listen, Ron, it
was nice chatting with you and
we're working on a club for you.
I'd beat the casino.com, or youhave your own club and precision
blackjack club and a courseyou're going to offer the manual
and the videos.
And, uh, you know, a lot more.
We want to go down this road.
Of course, we welcome, uh, cardcounters and card clubbers and
hopefully, uh, you know, you'lltake a look at both sides of the
(07:16):
equation and, uh, which wouldactually make the best player.
There's no doubt about that.
So, well, listen, this is Keithfrom beat the casino with, uh,
Ron betta Deno and we'll see youonline.
