He is often referred to as the "The Godfather of FI". He launched his blog jlcollinsnh.com in 2011 as a way to archive his investing outlook for his daughter Jessica. It grew to a larger audience due to its simplicity and powerful messaging. He has since wrote and published 2 books. How I lost money in real estate before it was fashionable: A cautionary Tale as well as his recent release Pathfinders: Extraordinary stories of people like you on the quest for financial independence.
JL has been a personal friend and mentor of mine since 2019 when I had the pleasure of meeting him at his UK Chautauqua event.
