Jamie Pruden is a hypnotist with a lifetime career, originating from a passion for acting during high school years. After graduation, he pursued the improv scene, through Theatre Sports to refine his spontaneous performance skills. This early experience laid the groundwork for his entry into stand-up comedy. Throughout the 80s and early 90s, he toured across Canada with the comedy club chain Yuk Yuk's, establishing a national reputation.
After a hiatus from the entertainment industry, Jamie returned with a renewed zeal under the stage name Sebastian Steel. He quickly gained acclaim with his comedy/hypnosis show and is recognized as one of Canada's leading hypnosis comedy acts.
In addition to his performance career, Jamie has garnered accolades as a Canadian artist. His pop art is internationally renowned and sold around the world.
