Scott Brownson is a director at Clydehurst Christian Ranch in Montana--a pristine and rustic camp set in the epically beautiful Boulder River Valley, a wondrous space made popular in the Robert Redford film, "A River Runs Through It".  The camp is primed to be the perfect escape from the work-a-day world--no cell phone reception, few demands pressing upon our time.  For seventy-six years, the camp has been a place of respite and solace for many families.

But as Scott shares with us today, even here, within this earthly paradise, the tyranny of the urgent can supplant the peace of God.

How does that happen?  What forces are at work in our culture that rob us of rest and peace?  How do we overcome them?  What is the difference between the solitude that recharges and the isolation the drains us?  Today's Kingdom Culture Conversation hits each of these questions squarely on the nose!

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
