Something that seems to be a topic that I’ve heard recently is the idea that we aren’t worthy of God’s love.
First I want to clarify something…you will NEVER truly be worthy on your own..this is where the break down comes in. We TRY to be worthy. We work towards being worthy. We get frustrated with our own striving because it doesn’t add up without Jesus! Jesus paid the price so that through HIM we can be ‘worthy’ of his presence.
How can we partner with this amazing gift?
1) Repentance! We should be coming to God with our brokenness, surrendering it to Him.
2 Chronicles 7:14- If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2) Relationship! I say this alot so i’m sorry if I sound like a broken record but we can’t fully understand our worth in Him if we don’t know Him well! If we don’t spend time with Him and know His intention toward us!
3) Recognize His holiness- WE NEED HIM
