Speaker 1 (00:18):
you wear your airpods right now.
Hey you, we are.
You join this day talking abouta road trip, going back in time
, encouraging you to say yes toadventure, say yes to what God
is calling you, to Go out there,do something fun.
Today we're going to go toFlorida, which is well not as
fun, but you're with ScottHawkins, that's me.

(00:40):
Andrew Gere, that's the one whodoesn't talk until the end of
the song.
You're almost allowed to speaknow.
Okay, yeah, yep, okay, yep, youfeel released.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I feel ready now.
Good got me good last week andI'm still proud of that that was
great you know it's good it wasgreat.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Um, we are in florida .
If you haven't yet subscribed,if you haven't yet gone and
liked the facebook page, um, weare going to start very soon our
defender state, um, which iscoming up.
So if you are, if you have acertain pining for love for a
certain state, then let us knowand we will start.
And yeah, just listening andtrying to defend the beautiful,

(01:22):
different states of ourwonderful union.
Now, the state which isimpossible to defend Florida.
Yeah, don't even try.
Don't even try, nope.
Although there are like fourFloridas, there's at least three
that I can think of.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah, that would be good to have somebody who's
lived in Florida for some timeto sort of explain that, yeah,
agreed.
Who's lived in florida for sometime?
To sort of explain that, yeahand agreed, maybe because I do,
I I did meet somebody this yearwho lives in they're not saying
you destin florida yep, I'vebeen there, I've been there
right, which is yes.

(01:58):
Do they call that the panhandle?
It is the panhandle.
That is a panhandle, correct?
Um boy, they made it soundpretty compelling.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Destin beaches are white sand.
They're warm.
This is true.
It's like a tourist it's springbreak, it's where all the East
Coast kids go for spring break.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
But they also said that living there it's very
family oriented and kind of hassmall town feel but has all the
amenities and stuff.
So yeah, probably spring breakit, it gets quite like yeah,
crazy, crazy but, but uh yeah.
So I don't know.
I don't know, maybe there'ssome good parts, maybe there's

(02:40):
some redempting, redempting no,we're tired again redempting,
yep.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Redempting no, try again.
Redemptive qualities noredeeming, redeeming, redeeming
qualities.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah, I really.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I got, I saw the brain.
It happens.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
That's not a, you can't say redemptive.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
I feel like that's correct.
Redemptive qualities.
I think it's redeeming.
That's a great question.
English teachers please respond.
So the four floridas that Ithink of are northern florida,
which is basically the southtallahassee destin um, maybe
jacksonville although I thinkpeople would debate about that
which are there and you'rebasically living in, like

(03:19):
southern georgia, southernalabama, that's how they operate
most, mostly like the panhandle, yes, and they think of
themselves as the South and theyare Southern food, southern
everything.
Then you go to the West Coast ofthe part that is the down part,
the Gulf side.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
The Gulf side.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
That is Ohio, michigan, indiana, which is
where we're going to be YepRight, that's that area.
Indiana, which is where we'regoing to be yep right like,
that's that area.
Atlantic side is new york, newjersey, connecticut that side
right that's the atlantic side, and so that's like transplants

(03:59):
and then the center which isstarts with disney and then just
goes down.
The center is is like a mixtureof confusion.
I think that's that's whereflorida man lives.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
I think that is where I think you have okay, I think,
I think disney is its own surespace.
Yeah, I think maybe six Go withme.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Maybe even seven.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Hit it.
So Disney is its own beast.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yes, just to meet.
Orlando, immediately probablynorth and south of Disney, but
in the center is like hardcoreredneck, but not like southern
redneck, like Floridian redneckLike this is where you hear the
weird news stories from likethis is I got an alligator stuck
in a sinkhole with my truck andyeah and and meth was involved,

(04:54):
of course, and it's involved.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
And, uh, and then you've, and like the people of
walmart, like yes, those are allwalmartarts in that region.
Right, you're picturing thatnow, can you?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
imagine a Walmart in that area, like Walmart already
has a certain vibe.
Then you put Walmart in thelike like that's where it is.
I mean I know it's out ofArkansas, so listen, or don't
call and say, oh, it's inArkansas, I know that, but
really the home of Walmart islike middle floor, the epitome
of the people of walmart.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I think are in central florida and then and
then you've got southern florida, which is the everglades, which
is the land that time forgotwhich is bizarre because, like
that is where the meteorimpacted the earth, which killed
off the dinosaurs.
If you, if you subscribe topeople say yeah, yeah, like the

(05:49):
Yucatan peninsula, the Gulf.
Okay, they're saying that'swhere the asteroid struck.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Really.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah, look at it, it's a circle.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
I never.
I never heard that that's a bigasteroid.
Yeah, kill the dinosaurs.
I didn't think it was like youknow, I actually had.
It's funny.
It's funny that we're at thedinosaurs.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
I mean it's not as big as the hole, but like it hit
so hard that it made a holethat big?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I know, I thought it was big, but I didn't realize it
was like I mean I kind ofthought like a solid mile across
, but you're giving me like 20,30 miles, 50, 100 miles across
maybe I don't know, maybe Igotta be big.
Here's a thought I had.
This is totally.
It's funny that we're ondinosaurs, because I, I think, I
think isaac has these littletoy dinosaurs now.
We were playing with them aweek or two ago and I just had

(06:37):
this thought crossed my mindthat went you know, god really
knew what he was doing, becausehe killed the dinosaurs before
the people became, because ifdinosaurs and people around the
same time, there are no peopleLike we don't ever win versus
the T-Rex.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
We just showed the kids Jurassic Park for the first
time.
The first one, the first one.
Oh my gosh, yeah, no chance, wehave no chance.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
No, that's why God's like I got to get rid of the
dinosaurs first.
They were fun.
I had my good time with them.
Got some fun fossils to freakout everybody in the future.
Yeah, but not asteroid.
Come on now.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Yeah, I think when you get to heaven and you're
like Scott or Scott, what was upwith the dinosaurs?
I think he's just going tostart laughing.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
He's like, yeah, he's like great Right, yeah he goes.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
I messed with you guys so bad to be like well,
wait a minute.
How did these get here?

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Yeah, and then he's going to go like and then I just
do the platypus around andstuff like that, just for us all
to have a great time.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
And then I let a couple of them slip and they, uh
, I, I put some in Australia andI put some in Florida.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Just to put some in florida, just to really screw
with everybody, just everyone'slike whoa.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, no, I was just like man, this is good way to go
god, way to go.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
God, I didn't run into dinosaurs first.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, thank you so okay, so you've got everglades,
which is where?
Well, I'll tell you the signthat we saw later today, we get
there, not today um not todayand then.
And then you've got Miami, which I feel like is Cuba, yeah,

(08:11):
kind of a world on its own, andthen I could also argue that
the Keys could be like their ownworld Great point.
I mean what a diverse state.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
It is.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
It is world great point.
I mean what a diverse state itis it is.
So I feel like somebody coulddefend parts of it and they
would probably then alsoacknowledge like yeah, there are
other parts that are very badcome on, person who's listening
to this, who's slightly offended.
Right now we need you, we needto find you if you're fiery
right now about this, yeah, post, yeah let us know we want to
hear it.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Okay, read to us, andrew oh yes, gather around
children.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
It's time for reading .
It is day 57.
It's a tuesday, it is november23rd 2004, if you're keeping
track, keeping this morning wedrove down to Estero Florida
where Scott's other aunt, janet,lives.
So true to your point, yes, retired from Michigan down to

(09:15):
Estero Florida, which is on thatGulf side, Fort Myers, Naples,
that kind of area.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Tampa.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
I thought I could write while Scott was driving,
but I'm having no luck.
I'll try this later, okay, wewait, I do like your random
think out mouth.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, yes, I'm going to go through the work of
writing that it's hard to writeright now.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah, okay, yeah, okay.
I need to back up a bit.
I got ahead of myself because, honestly, I have a terrible
memory, since I'm being honest.
The other reason I leftsomething out is because I don't
write in this journal every day.
As a matter of fact, I'm in ahotel room in orange, texas,
right now.

(10:00):
I read this last week and toldscott and I do.
I thought I wrote every singleday, but here I'm letting us all
in I know you took time off,but you didn't.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
I didn't realize you took that long off and so much
happens between so much day andorange texas that oh my gosh.
Yeah, I mean it could be thetrauma part oh right, could be.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Could be that incident with the could be
python oh, the python, thepanther, the python, panther and
the python, maybe the canoe andthe alligator.
Um, the secret is out.
I hope you're not disappointedand if you keep reading, you'll
find out why I'm in a hotel roomin orange texas, or, in your

(10:51):
case, listener, listening, yesyes wait, that builds suspense
right.
Oh my gosh, what is he gonnasay?
So we left orlando and we'reheading to scott's aunt, I so.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
I just have one more question about this.
Okay, so, between the part youpaused and you picked back up,
do you think that was in Floridaand then you stopped all the
way to orange Texas?
Or do you think we were drivingand then you got to the hotel
in orange Texas?
You know what I mean.
Like, do you think it was 12hours or did it was like a week
and a half or two weeks between?

(11:25):
Hey, I can't write while I'mdriving.
Oh, I'm gonna pick back up yeahor what do you think?
it was?
Just I'm we're in texas, Ishould really journal.
I'm writing.
Oh, I need to write at thehotel, probably the second one.
Huh yeah, okay, I think so.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
We'll never know, but I think so it doesn't matter,
but I think that sounds right.
Yeah, so we left Orlando andwe're heading to Scott's Ants,
but we made a stop off at theside of the road.
Oh, we made a stop off.
The side of the road was amuseum.
Oh yeah, one I actually wantedto go to.
This was a great one.
Yes, it was a water ski museum.

(12:06):
That was a great museum.
Forget you Civil War, let'slearn about the history of water
skiing.
Small but interesting.
The best thing there was a 1954Correct Craft Adams skier.
What a beautiful boat, interesting so for those of you.

(12:31):
Oh boy, I, I grew up aroundboats.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
We should probably do a whole other episode on
Andrew's boats.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Oh my gosh.
We could Between my dad and Ithe number of boats.
I don't know if we could gethim on to talk about how many
we've had.
That's not a good idea.
But my second boat that Iowned- was a correct craft.
No, that was the first one.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
The Mastercraft yeah, I had a 1978 Mastercraft.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
That was the first one.
Oh, it was.
Yeah, I had a 1978 Mastercraft.
That was my first boat.
My second one was anAeronautique which is made by
Correct Craft, which is the samemanufacturer as this 1954
Correct Craft Adam's Ski.
So this was like the birth ofthe tournament ski boat style
boat.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Do you think that that's probably true?
Right, like probably early 50s,yes, post-world War II.
So like we've engines inventedin the early 1900s, then we have
cars, then we have World War I,then we have the Depression and
all of that, so probably no skiboats.
Then Then boom, world War II.
People come back from World WarII.
They have back for two, theyhave money to buy little houses,
they're having kids.

(13:40):
Oh, what do we need to do?
We need to start water skiing1950.
That sounds right.
Yeah Well.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
I think it is, and in Florida the weather is good
pretty much year round.
There's lots of the wholething's a swamp, so there's
water everywhere, which?
I don't understand Like thesepeople are skiing where there's
gators.
certainly I don't know I guessthey just took a chance and and
that's where, like bush, bushgardens was, which was like a
big theme park but based aroundwater skiing, I think, where

(14:12):
they would have, like you'd seethe old timey pictures of, like
the people in a pyramid beingpulled behind a boat.
This is the boat.
That's the because, becauseit's a pyramid being pulled
behind a boat.
This is the boat.
That's the cause, cause it's alittle ski boat with a V8 and a
direct drive, so just straightout of the motor came up power
shaft and a propeller and justpure power.
And that's still how the that'show my boat is today.

(14:32):
Same, same sort of makeup.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Well, and the like.
These boats were supposed tonot make as much weight because
they were trying to just giveyou as little weight as possible
, whereas the boats now are likesitting deep and just wake,
wake, wake, wake, wake, yeah, and so yeah, oh, yeah, that's
cool.
Yeah, I didn't think about that, but absolutely right.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah, the ski boat, that would be about the time
yeah, and that's where a lot ofthese ski boat manufacturers
still exist, like the big oneslike the ski nautique or correct
craft, same thing, mastercraft, malibu, and then you've got
some.
Then you got the west coast hotrod influence and we've got a
couple of big name brands thatstarted as like racing boats

(15:15):
that kind of evolved into theski boats, like centurion and
sanger, oh yeah um where doesthe maxim fall?
in this world, oh, the maxim uhthe maxim family runabout I
don't know where's walmartheadquarters again, ark
baytonville, arkansas probablysomewhere around there.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Pleasure craft yeah, great little.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Yeah, it is a great little boat sod in action yeah
um, yeah, yeah so that was.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
I like that you can tell how like so there's a.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
You know there's a point in the plus column for
Florida.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
I gotta hand it to you, florida all right, at least
that came out of you.
Yeah, I was also gonna saythere's a point in the plus
column for the, the random boatknowledge that you just have
tucked away there you have noidea I like, just we're just
dipping into the surface, aren'twe?
We really should as a child.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
If I was offered like okay, andrew do, do you want to
go to Disneyland or the LA boatshow?

Speaker 1 (16:21):
I'm like let's go to LA baby.
Is that even a choice?

Speaker 2 (16:25):
Yeah, I'm like I'm such stupid questions, father.
Let's go, let's go.
I love, I love boats, I don'tknow why.
Yeah, just always.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
They're great, they're great, they are great.
They're so great, they're sofun, they're so like just the
best.
Yeah, everything good happensin boats.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
This weekend my oldest was invited to a birthday
party and it was.
They were renting a Duffy boatdown in Newport which is like
one of those little electricboats, kind of like the jungle
cruise boat really like it.
And and it was like oh, avery, you get to go on a boat in

(17:07):
Newport beach.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
You're so lucky.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
This is the greatest birthday idea ever.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
She's like whatever.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
She's like oh, I don't know, but I'm missing the
church play practice.
I'm like forget that you get tobe on a boat.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
You get to be on a boat, boat always wins, always,
always wins.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Yeah, oh, dude, I love it.
Oh man.
So after yeah, I've got somegreat pictures of this One thing
that I remember there is a'swe're gonna, we're gonna, I'm
gonna give you a little bit moreknowledge, so everybody knows
of like water skiing.
Right, you've got two skis andyou're water skiing, similar to
snow skiing, and then there'sthe single ski, which is a bit

(17:50):
harder um difficult to get outof the out of the water, um, but
then there's something calledbarefoot skiing.
Oh man, oh yeah, I love it whenyou have no ski and you
literally use your bare feet asthe skis.
People do this and you've gotto go fast.

(18:11):
You've got to go like 45 milesan hour, which, like 45, is not
fast.
If you've ever been 45 miles anhour on a boat, it's fast.
So then you're being pulledalong the water because, think
about it, your feet are lessthan a foot long and you have to
go fast enough so that thewater tension is firm enough for
you to skip along the top of it.
Oh my gosh.

(18:32):
So there's a character.
His name is banana George Blair, and at this time when we went
to the museum, he's probably inhis 80s and he was still
barefoot, water skiing, and hewas.
He was known for eating bananasand he had like a yellow
wetsuit, yeah, and there waslike a wax figure of him, so I
remember taking.

(18:53):
I think I've got a picture of mestanding next to both of us.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Yeah, we both took a shot.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Oh man, it's so great .
Look up, do yourself a favoronce.
Once this is over, just google, google, banana, george blair or
barefoot water skiing.
It will blow your mind withthese people too.
It's crazy have.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Have we ever tried it ?
I will talk about it no, everactually put someone behind the
boat and said let's just see, because you have to have a big,
old, like life jacket so youstart on your back right or you
can start.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
You can either start on on skis and then, like jump
out of them somehow.
Or I've seen people start on aknee board, um on their butt,
and then there's also, there'salso like a barefoot boom, so it
comes off the side of the boatand then you step out, kind of,
yeah, you hold up and then youjust like, but yeah, I knew

(19:48):
somebody who has done it and Ithink he was like he was an
incredible skier and barefooterand stuff, but he would talk
about it and he would be like,oh yeah, it's like sometimes you
don't think about it and thenlike you put your toe slightly
down because you have to haveyour toes like up and like you

(20:09):
forget, and it does not takemuch and it's it's like you.
You fall so fast that it's likeyour skeleton jumps in front of
your body and then, like therest of your body, has to catch
up with you, because it is likeyou don't even yeah, and then
you just roll across the top ofthe water like a skipping stone

(20:31):
until you eventually just try no, no, no, no, you're not.
No, come on.
Not a chance, not a chance,come on.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
I think you would do good, because you're much better
at single steam than me.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Flattery will not work here.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Here's the thing you can do it.
I can't.
So that's how much better youare at single steam than me.
Nope, not going to happen.
Just put yourself on akneeboard.
I'll go fast.
No, and let's just start there.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Let's just see how it goes, I'm not interested, not
interested, I think you would doit pretty good, I think you've.
There was a day you could havegot me to do that, but that day
has passed.
My friend, I still think youneed to think about it.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Okay, but I want to say one thing about I was at a
party the other day and talkedabout this going down.
I was, there was these stepsand they had a pool in the
backyard and they had these liketile steps that they were hot,
like oh, they're getting hotbecause they're in the sun like
gray, really nice house, reallynice house.
I'm like okay, and so I.
I have eyes, it's food in myhand and I'm walking down these

(21:36):
steps and I'm wearing myrainbows that I bought for us.
Emily and I bought a pairbefore we got married, so
they're 15-year-old rainbows, sothey have like no traction,
like less than traction.
Yep, yep, yep.
And I don't remember a time inmy life where I have fallen in a
way where, like you're saying, you just are immediately down,

(21:59):
in a way where, like you'resaying, you just are immediately
down and you're just like, likeyou know, you're, you're one
second, you're stepping down thenext you're just hitting stairs
with your battle, bam bam, bam.
I was like, oh yeah, dude, onthese tile stairs and I was okay
, like I tucked enough my headso I think I protected all the
vitals tuck and roll, but likethat, I that that like moment of
like.
There's just no choice.

(22:19):
It's not like I wonder how I'mgonna protect myself in this
fall, I was just like.
I was like, oh, that's when yousaid that, like you just fall,
that's what I was thinking of.
And it doesn't happen on thesnowboard.
Right, you catch a toe edge ona snowboard, just like, yeah,
we're down.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
It is just, it's miserable it's one of the most
hilarious things.
Oh, to watch?
Yeah, for sure to watch whenit's not you like teaching
somebody to wakeboard andthey're like I feel pretty good,
I'm way more and I'm turning,they're done.
They're done, just poof gone.

(22:55):
There's just no chance.
And it's just like the surpriseof it all because it happens so
fast so fast so fast your headhurts so bad because you oh
my gosh yeah, and it's like when, when avery my oldest was like
I want to try wakeboarding thisyear, I'm like.
I'm not even gonna put thethought in her mind that she

(23:17):
could eat it like that.
I'm like first step, let's justget you, I know I gotta get her
back out there, gotta get herback to the season yeah, so she
was so close she was very, veryclose but she was just a little
in her head.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Yeah, yeah, that's so important.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Oh my gosh, those, yeah, those those rainbows, not
to diverge too far, but whenthey get worn down and you step
on anything that's slightly damp, it's bad.
Oh you're, you're ice skating.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
I need a new pair of rainbows is where it comes down
to, because it yeah, they'rejust not wearable anymore.
But one of our friends istalking about like not talking
deep into like redoing theirbackyard and then a jacuzzi.
He came up to me.
He's like hey, thanks forthanks for following like that.

we're looking at like that exactsame tile and she's like no,
it's not that slippery.

(24:05):

Like I had to stop people pourwater on it in the store.
And he's like and then you justfell.
I looked at her like, yeah, seethat?

Speaker 2 (24:14):

stone pavers around.
Oh, I'm glad to help you, sir, because oh man, all right, let's
get back to Florida, though, shall we?
After this side trip?
We did make it down to Estero, which is between Fort Myers and
Naples.

His Aunt Judy and her husbandSteve live in a pretty new
resort-type community with poolsand a golf course, and retired
people Yep One of Florida'sbiggest imports, as we discussed
already.
Since the RV is somewhat of aneyesore in a manufactured

(24:58):
community like this, we parkedit in a storage lot and packed
up some clothes for the weekend.
They didn't let us park it infront of their house.

Speaker 1 (25:07):

yeah, You're not having that.
Yeah, it wasn't a Steven Janet.
We're like oh, you shouldreally it's like, wasn't the
steven janet.

Speaker 2 (25:17):

It's like no, that's notallowed in.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Yeah, you gotta park this in the we have a place for
people like, yeah, it's rightout there yeah, we put gates
around this community so therest of florida can't come in
here.
We're trying to keep middleflorida out, yeah you see, and

So steve and janet moved downto this area four years ago for
from michigan, and they love it.
It really is like living onvacation.
Janet is deborah's youngersister and judy's older.
I shouldn't have to say thatshe is the middle, but look at
that.
I just did Well, terrific.

(26:02):

Let's see here.
She is great, full of energyand Eccentricism, I think, is
the word I tried to use thereeccentricities, eccentricities,
that's okay eccentricism thatone may, that, that one may

(26:28):
expect from a shornik child fairthose who know no right.
Um, I feel like that could betaken out of context and be seen
as an insult, but I promise youit is not.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
No, it's not, but you're going to have a good time
if the Shornuk lady is hostingthe party.
That's what I'm saying.
You're going to leave with astory or two.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
We had a great time.
We had a great time.
Steve barbecued lamb chops fordinner and Aunt Judy, who is
also visiting, made sureeverything also was taken care

(27:15):
of.
Apparently, there was acompetition between Deborah
Janet and Judy over who was themost hospitable Great for us.
So we had the two sisters.
Your mom wasn't there, but thetwo sisters were trying to outdo
each other to make sure we werehaving the best time possible
this is okay.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
This is quite incredible.
We're covering this right nowbecause no joke, we just had a
conversation with my sister andemily and eric and I and we were
talking about when did thisstart, and we all thought it
started around the time of ourweddings.
That would have been 2009.
Ah no, this predates that.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
This predates that Like five years yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Written proof oh.
I gotta text them.
They're gonna be excited aboutthis.
This is written proof.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
You don't have to text them, they'll hear it.
Oh yeah, oh, you better textthem those closest to us want to
listen to our voices more.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
That's what it is.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Dinner was delicious and we were very comfortable in
their home.
It was very nice in their home.
It was very nice.
I remember it was in in utterand complete uh difference from
our night in boston.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
The bed was extraordinarily comfortable and
big just like we slept in onebed, but it didn't matter,
because you're like so far apart, you're like hey, over there,
you hello, hello yeah, and Idon't know if we get into this,
but we might.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Oh, I think I do to the next day, but it was great
they figured it out, man.
Yeah, they were fun.
They were in a cool spot and itwas a good time.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
It was a good time, it was a great time and judy
being there, more eucharist arecoming to our lives oh man yeah,
some boating, some boating.

spite of all ill will, we havecommitted upon florida committed
upon Florida had a great day.
Painted a pretty great picturethis day.
If you asked me in the eveningof November 23rd 2004, andrew,

(29:28):
what do you think of Florida?
I'd be like it's up there.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
You're living your best life.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
It could be one of the top stakes.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I'm sitting here having some lamb chops, having
some lamb chops, having somemint jelly with it, which I
think we discovered at that meal.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
That that's the thing could have been, and here we
are living the life gettingpampered by janet and judy,
which, funny enough, hospitalitycompetition there was.
There was a singing duo thatused to come to our elementary
school named janet and judy, andthey would sing songs, and one
of them was the 50 states ofamerica.
50 states there was a singingduo that used to come to our
elementary school named Janetand Judy, and they would sing
songs, and one of them was the50 States of America.
50 States of America.

(30:03):
I don't know if I remember, because the tune was catchy or
because they were like blondetwins and I'm like I don't know
what's happening to me, but II'm feeling a certain way as a
eight year old boy.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
So do the States.
Come on, do it.
I'm feeling it Eight-year-oldboy, so do the states.
Come on, do it.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
The song I just remember that part 50 states of
America.
I wonder if I can find themJanet and Judy.
Janet and Judy, not your mom'ssisters, maybe it was.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Do you remember that little kid that came on
Houseboats?
I think it was with GoodShepherd, I don't think it was
with First Press and I don'tthink it was with First Press
and he knew that song andAlabama, arkansas, and he should
just do it, and he was like thesweetest little seventh grade
boy who had this sweetest littlevoice and all the time he was
like 50 states on boy go.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
And he was just like Alabama, arkansas.
That was great.
I forgot all about that.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
He's a kind, just little kid.
We're like, yes, do this forour enjoyment.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Do the party trick.
Here's a peanut.
Do it again.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Yes.
Oh man, the coolest people inthe world, then yeah, we'll do
it for you.
Alabama, arkansas, alaska, louisiana that's not the right
order, by the way.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
What happened to B through M?

Speaker 1 (31:21):
No, what comes before L J?
I don't know J.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
K K.
Okay, is that what you have todo to figure out where the
letters are in the sequence?

Speaker 1 (31:31):
always, of course, you got to sing a little bit of
the alphabet song.
Have you known that there's anew alphabet song?
Because people get confusedL-M-N-O.
They thought there was a letter.
