In this episode, we look at the formation of covenants at wells throughout scripture. We look at the marriage of Isaac and Rebekah and how it has unique and important similarities for the meeting of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4. We look at what that encounter meant for her personally, the nation of Samaria as a whole and for us personally today!

In this episode we look at the sacrifice that Cain brought before the Lord and why the Lord refused it. We then contrast Abel’s sacrifice to see what He did right. We look at what we can learn from Cain’s mistakes. Today we’re living sacrifices before the Lord and we look at how we can apply these lessons as we offer up our entire life so that it can be well-pleasing and honoring to the Lord!

In this episode we look at why we’re commanded to flee from lust and what fleeing looks like for us on the practical level. Contrary to the world will tell you fleeing isn’t cowardly, it’s wise. We’re not just running aimlessly, we’re running towards something, we’re running towards God. There are many roles that we’re called to operate in and we have a responsibility to understand them and walk in them!

We look at what it means to be pruned, how that happens and the difference that it makes in our lives and in our walk of faith. We need to let the Lord do what only He can do!

We look at how her one act of faithfulness changed all of history and how it relates to our calling to be the salt of the earth, especially as it relates to our call to preserve. We’re to preserve the situations we find ourselves in and hold the line of faith, that’s part of how we stand in the gap just like she did.
