The justice of God is both one of the greatest and worst things for man. On one side, we deeply long for justice to be served, but on the other side, if justice is truly delivered to us, it means we would face God’s wrath. Only through Christ are these two seemingly conflicting realities reconciled.

The defining attribute of God that makes Him God is His holiness. God is unlike us and exists in a state of complete purity from sin. He commands us to be holy, and in our inability, provides the means for us to be counted as holy.
