This week On The Record with Randy Beamer, details on the effort by District 6 City Councilman Ric Galvan to have the city begin discussing the growing data centers popping up on the far west side. Galvan cites the massive amount of water usage and power needs of these centers, and wants the city to discuss the impacts these centers will have on our resources.
Then, Ramon J. Vasquez, Exec. Director for the American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions, shares his thoughts on the recent social media post for Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples Day that led to the resignation of Alamo Trust CEO Kate Rogers. Vasquez also shares his concern over the lack of communication the Alamo Trust has with members of the Alamo Citizens Advisory Committee.
