This is a total misconception that it’s only in recent times - the last 60 years - that women are being “allowed” into church leadership. The complaint against churches with women in leadership is that the church is copying culture. Our survey of these books introduces our listeners to Beth Allison Barr, a professor of Medieval history at Baylor University in Texas. Her books provide important and unique insight to this issue.
