A turkey torso in the oven, a countertop-sized dough ball on deck, and a dog who now treats the microwave like a dinner bell—this holiday recap has range. We bake our way into a conversation about fresh bread versus preservatives, why staling happens, and whether freezing and toasting really shift the glycemic punch. Then we veer delightfully into fast food nostalgia: Five Guys versus In-N-Out, secret-menu misadventures, and the moment bacon bits tasted like a science experiment gone wrong.

From there, we grab seats at the movies and talk about entertainment the way real people live it: a surprisingly graphic PG-13 Predator spinoff, the sacred economics of popcorn buckets, and why “was it fun?” beats awards-season sermons. Black Friday comes for the wallet and the studio: new mic, camera, capture card, Stream Deck, monitor, and a shockingly capable Mac mini paired with DIY storage. We break down price history tools, how to avoid fake “sales,” and how to multistream without overcomplicating the setup.

Threaded through the chaos is a practical check on health and money. We talk oatmeal for fiber balance, picking a clean whey protein, what creatine can do beyond the gym, and staying skeptical of supplement labels. We also cover boots, bones, and the quiet discipline of long dog walks, plus why buy-now-pay-later can quietly sink a budget and how simple credit hygiene pays off later.

Hit play for cozy kitchen wins, gear-nerd clarity, and the kind of honest, funny detours that make a solo show feel like a late-night call with a friend. If you’ve got a game you want to see on the first streams—or a bread recipe that never fails—drop it in the comments. And if this made you smile, subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a quick review so more folks can find the show.

SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
And we're roaming for another big crash out gang.
Welcome back, y'all.
Missed you, ladies and fellastoo.
Hope y'all enjoyed the holidays.
Had a happy Thanksgiving.
Um, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, whichever, whichever you
celebrate.
All the above spend too much onthe holidays, uh, like I did.
But Thanksgiving was prettygood, mostly chill.

(00:22):
Although I'm struggling rightnow, your boy getting sick.
I need to go to bed once you'redone uh filming this, but you
know, I gotta stay on that uhSigma grind set, whatever the
hell they call it nowadays.
But yeah, anywho, Thanksgivingwas good.
Headed home and came over, wentfor a long walk around the town
with the dog, just meanderingaround.

(00:45):
It's good vibes, and then whileuh a big ass turkey cooked got
some like eight-pound, like achicken, not chicken, turkey
breast.
Although I don't know.
I don't know my turkey anatomy.
It was like the the top half ofthe turkey.
It still had the hole forstuffing or stuffing.

(01:05):
I feel like I've heard I think Isaw recently that's like
stuffing if you throw that shitin the bird, or dressing if you
just cook it on the side.
I always thought there was likejust two different words for the
same thing.
And like dressing was southern.
My dad always called itdressing, and I did not know
what he was talking about atfirst, because like to me,
dressing means like like a saladsauce or something like that,
you know, like a salad dressing.

(01:27):
But that's besides the point.
It was like a I don't know whatthis turkey was, but it didn't
have like the legs or the wings,it was just like a uh like a
chest, it was just like the uhthe torso of a turkey, but it
was solid, it was solid, andthen baked an ungodly amount of
bread.
Um I was trying to, you know, beresourceful, not waste anything,

(01:49):
and realize I had some yeast inmy cupboard that was about to
expire.
I mean, I don't know how long itlasts or if it actually expires
at that point.
But I was like, oh, I should useit to make bread.
And long story short, I ended upgoing through like 40 cups of
flour, which I didn't, you know,I don't know what I was
thinking.
I was like, I'll just use thisall to scale it up to use all

(02:10):
the yeast I had.
And I was like, I got some big,big bags of flour from Costco
that I like have never used, soI should use them up.
And I legit just made a doughball that ended up being like
the size of my goddamn likecountertop.
I like kneaded that for like Ifelt at least half an hour.
It was a solid workout, it wasso big.
I was like, it was like low-keypunching bag at midway through

(02:32):
uh kneading that.
It's like it was like punchingback, honestly.
I was trying to like squish itdown.
It was a it was a good workout.
Um and finally got it into somelike giant well sort of formed
dough ball, and then to break itup into basically just four
large dough balls that are, Imean, still large but a little
bit more manageable.

(02:52):
This was kind of uh uh a littlebit unreasonable, but you know,
had to, you know, risk it forthe biscuit, literally, because
I just ended up throwing four ofthese dough balls in some like
tin file nine by thirteen pansthat I had, and just legit just
had my oven just entirely fullof these dough balls and made
two like giant pans of bread andhad that with the turkey and it

(03:13):
was pretty fire, and the rest ofit I just cut up in frozen bags,
like quart bags of bread.
Because I made this once a fewweeks back and froze part of it
and just thawed it, and itthawed pretty good.
So I was like, well, I guess uhfresh bread does not last that
long.
It starts to get moldy afterlike a few days on the counter.
Maybe it goes like lasts longerif you put it in the fridge as

(03:35):
reading.
I don't really know, but thensome people say it stales faster
because there's some process oflike some something in the bread
is like starch retrogradation.
That's maybe the right word.
I don't know, it's a big word.
I think basically means like thebread rearranges and maybe it
like gets rid of water, like itkicks out the water molecules.

(03:57):
So that's why it gets kind oflike stale bread is dry.
Although, you know, I thinkmaybe it's good if you get your
like diabetic or somethingbecause it makes it harder to
break down so it doesn't spikeyour blood sugar as much.
And the same thing happens, maybe not as much.
I don't really know.
Similar thing that if you likeyou freeze your bread, something
if you toast it too, becausethat's not some people trying to

(04:19):
say like for if you're diabetic, you can freeze it and toast it
to lower or increase theglycemic index, glycemic.
I don't know which way,whatever, in a good way.
I think I think high means itlike spikes your blood sugar
really fast, and low is theopposite.
So I think it means it lowersit, I'm pretty sure.

(04:40):
So if you're diabetic, you know, pro tip.
I don't know.
I don't know how much like of aneffect it is, but I thought that
was kind of interesting.
But so I mean even one of theselevels is kind of like a lot to
eat within a few days.
So I just like have a freezerfull of frozen bread chunks, but
it's it's pretty good.
It's kind of dense bread,honestly.
It's pretty, pretty like solid.

(05:01):
I like kind of like we justbricks of bread, but used up my
flour and my yeast and had thatwith the turkey, and that was
legit all I had.
Turkey and turkey and bread.
Debated making mac and cheese.
Like to uh whip up some boxedmac and cheese, crack a few eggs
in it.
That's pretty good.
I gotta recommend that.

(05:22):
ProStrat is yeah, just I don'teven add anything else.
Don't add no butter or milk.
I legit.
At least for the I've beenbuying these Goodles boxes, it's
like I didn't even realize, likeit's just some like protein mac
and cheese.
I started buying it at Targetbecause it had some interesting
flavors like truffle andjalapeno that were they're
pretty fire.
And then I like was reading itand then kind of like, oh, this
is like a healthy one.

(05:43):
Then maybe got extra protein orsomething, but it's still pretty
good, and they got someinteresting flavors.
Although it's kind of expensiverelative to like the classic
craft or even like the otherAnnies, I think this is called
what it's called.
Although I did find that theyhave it at Costco for a much
better deal, although they don'thave the good, the best flavors,
although it's still solid.
They still got like the whitecheddar one and then like a

(06:05):
basic one, so it's decent, although it'd be hype if they
had other flavors.
There's some weird ones though, because I'm trying to think.
I've had I guess they got likejust a classic mac and cheese,
they got just the white cheddar, which is top tier.
Other really good flavors that Ilike are like they got a truffle
one or um like a jalapeno one.

(06:27):
Those are pretty good.
Some other like elotes one, likethe corn one, that was kind of
wild because it kind of tastedlike it.
They had a bacon one that wasdecent.
Then it made me like want to tryto add like bacon to it, but I
didn't have bacon, so I boughtsome like bacon bits at the
store.
I can't ever eat bacon bitsagain.
I used to feel like I kind ofliked them when I was little,
like if I saw them at a saladbar, but I don't know if these

(06:49):
like this like shaker of them islike just fake bacon.
It just tasted like I felt likeI got a chemical burn in my
mouth after I ate that.
I don't know how people likeconsume this.
It was so bad.
I had to just I like try alittle bit, I just threw the
whole ball of macaroni out.
I was kind of sad.
But I was like, I cannot eatthis.
It made me like after one bite,I did not feel good.

(07:09):
I don't know what was in that.
I don't know.
That was that was one of theworst, you know, processed
things that I've eaten.
Like normally, you know, someprocess just pretty tasty, but I
do not know what these fakebacon bits were.
Don't recommend them.
I would recommend if you, youknow, just like get some really
crispy bacon and break that up,but I think these are not real

(07:30):
bacon.
I mean, I'm guessing not becauseit's like just something that's
at room temperature stored.
How do they store things likeSlim Jim's?
Like, that's concerning, probably what it's got in them,
how much preservatives.
I think that's though what evenour like bread in America, the
good old US of A wonder breads, are like kind of like crazy how
long they last on shelves.

(07:51):
I mean, I guess it's good forbusiness, but maybe not so great
for us to eat.
Because I know at like one pointI bought some bread and kind of
forgot about it, and it was likethree months later I found it in
my my cupboard and it lookedfine, so I kind of like I rolled
the dice.
I was like, I'll I'll I'll trymaking a sandwich with it.
And it tasted great, honestly.
I finished that loaf, and Iwould not have been able to tell
that was like three monthsexpired.
So I was like, this is sick, butalso kind of concerning.

(08:14):
I don't know.
I think I've seen videos evenabout like how much different
our bread is compared to otherplaces, like in Europe, and like
how big of a part of theirculture, like they got like
bakeries, like they got bakerieseverywhere, and it's just you
know part of your daily grind, you know, you just wake up, get
your coffee, get your biscuitfor the day, your baguette, and
hit the road.

(08:35):
But that's like you know, capitalism had to get that that
bread profitable, they likereally changed it up.
Because I feel like I've evenseen things where people like
with some like maybe like glutenallergies, things like that,
they they can have no problemseating that European baguette,
the French baguette.
I don't know.
Don't quote me on that, but Ifeel like I've seen stuff like

(08:56):
that.
So I'd be kind of curious whatexactly it is.
I don't know what all the thingsare.
There's some stuff to likestabilize it or preserve it for
the shelf, and maybe bleachingit.
I don't know.
Bleach that bread like abutthole for real.
Um I don't I don't know whatelse they do, but it's
something.
Because yeah, the some of thestuff that I had like after a

(09:17):
few days already moldy.
It's crazy.
It's like how how's the thegrocery store do it?
And what kind of stuff?
It's maybe like I think thereused to be a thing where like
one of I don't know, someScandinavian-esque or northern
European country.
I feel like they have somemuseum where they just have like
a Big Mac on display or like aMcDonald's meal, a happy meal,

(09:37):
something with like a livestream where you can just see it
and it's like 15 years old, orat least it was at one point
running.
I don't know if this is stillgoing on, and you can see this
Big Mac or whatever it is justin pristine condition after
years because of whateverpreservatives, which is a little
bit um unnerving, makes you feela little bit suspect what you're
eating, but some of it doestaste good.

(09:58):
Although I have not had I don'teven know the last time I've
been to McDonald's or hadanything.
I remember I used to like kindof like it when I was a kid.
Get a happy meal.
The toys, that was our guess.
Or even like early high school.
I feel like there was alwaysthere's always like random
mystery mini things that we'dtry to make.

(10:19):
Like I remember the McGang bang.
If you know you know, it's likeif you put a McChicken inside of
McDouble, that was pretty good.
I remember sometimes the roll ofdice, sometimes even the
cashiers used to know.
I don't know if this is a stillthing anymore.
Uh let us know if it is, butlike you could just order
McChicken or McDouble, or youcould, you know, you know,
really risk embarrassingyourself and order McGangbang

(10:40):
and see if the cashier actuallyknew what you're talking about.
Sometimes it'd be like, oh yeah, for sure, I got you, and be
like, sick.
And then you just sometimes getthe weirdest looks when you said
that.
They'd be like, come again, andyeah.
What a time to be alive.
That's all I can say.
Yeah, I don't know the last timeI've been there.
I don't I may I guess I maybegone with people and I've got

(11:02):
stuff, but I think of like thelast McDonald's thing, I've you
know maybe like a nugget ormaybe a French fry.
I can't actually think the lasttime.
Yeah, I don't know.
I think I got I mean I probablyhad it as like a kid at some
point that I don't remember, butI had like the first whopper I
ever had like a few months ago.
Like I was just like, well, Iwas getting ice cream for my dog

(11:25):
was really what I was doing, andthen I was like, I've never had
a Whopper, at least not that Ilike recall, so I decided to get
one.
Um but that was actually prettysolid, so I don't need to make
fast food habit though.
I feel like my top, the top-tierfast food burger has probably
still got to be five guys.
That's considered fast food,it's just so expensive.
That's the L part of it, butthey are pretty fire.

(11:47):
I don't know.
I think I've had Shake Shack, Ifeel like there's all sorts of
wars of that.
In and Out's pretty good.
I feel like, you know, hot takeis just like overhyped, but it's
like a good vibe going in andout.
It's kind of uh I don't know.
It's got good vibes.
It's like one of those thingswhere it's like something that

(12:07):
you know, like I feel likepeople don't want to say that
it's not that great though, youknow.
But it's good, but it's like oneof those foods like you know
it's not actually good, but it'sgood be largely because of the
vibes.
It's still not bad, but it's notlike I don't know.
Trying to think of like a guiltypleasure food, like a cosmic
brownie, like it's not reallygood, but it is good, you know?
That's what I compare it to.

(12:28):
And getting animal style, obviously, you got to.
So remember the first time Ilike got one.
I think I have I got family uhout there and like was visiting,
and like I don't even know, thislike old second uncle or I don't
know, some distant year old thatwas talking about, oh yeah, make
sure to try it.
So what is it called?

(12:50):
Like, bro actually told like10-year-old me to try the doggy
style fries, and then his wifewas like, No, that's not what it
is, it's animal style.
But that would have been savedme from another McGang bang
moment, pulling up to the In andOut and me, oh, can I get them
fries doggy style?
Meet me behind the dumpster forreal.
Missed out on that.
Who knows what would havehappened, but pretty solid.

(13:13):
What other other ones?
Shake Shake they talk about.
I feel like I've had it.
Maybe only once, though.
There's whataburger, I feel likepeople in the South, you know.
Is that only Texas?
I don't know.
Never had it, so I can't speakon that.
I've only been to Texas likeonce, and I still remember.
It was only for a few days, itwas Austin, and I still remember
I was shook that the crosswalkshad like a southern drawl when

(13:36):
it was like walk sound is on tocross.
Okay, I'm gonna stop talkingbecause I can't do accents for a
shit, but I was like, ain't noway.
Like it's felt almost likesatirical that the this
crosswalks had it, but I guessit would make almost more sense
for them to have it, becauselike do I mean we I imagine we
sound different, like or likepeople without a southern draw

(13:56):
sound different to people in thesouth when you start talking.
I don't know what you soundlike, but or I mean just sound
different.
It like kind of catches you offguard.
It is kind of kind of fun why totalk.
Draw, yeehaw.
I don't know what the southernphrases are.
Get that lingo up.
I feel like I got lingo thoughfrom all over because especially

(14:18):
in college, I had roommates fromlike every part, or like people,
even just friends fromeverywhere in the country, and
like I got all sorts of randomslang that I picked up.
I feel like lots of stuff fromthe the DMV, the DC, Maryland,
Virginia is that I think whatthat stands for.
Some lingos from there.
I feel like the jount or john, whatever you want to say, such a

(14:42):
good word.
You can use it for anything.
That John over there, yo, what'sthis John doing?
Just like you can use it.
You fill in any word.
Nothing, you know.
Anything can be a John.
Werever can be a John.
And I think people say both, like John or John.
I don't even know.
I just say it because it's kindof fun to say.

(15:02):
It's a solid one.
This line, I don't know.
I don't even know how we gothere.
What are we talking about?
We were going got there fromburgers, from McDonald's, oh,
from bread.
Wow, we backtracked.
We're doing good, gang.
We were kind of we're windingback these these branches of
tangents that we found and goingback to the the central branch.
It's just like the that oneshow.

(15:25):
Loki, yes.
If you've seen Loki, we'retalking about like that
branching timeline.
So I feel like we're back on themain timeline.
I remembered.
Uh back to making my bread onThanksgiving.
So made lots of bread.
It's pretty solid.
My dog has become a fan of breadthough.
She's definitely become a littlebit of a uh a bread demon every
time now, especially because itwas like microwaving some of the

(15:46):
frozen bread.
And I'd like pop to themicrowave, or she hear the
frozen ziploc bags of breadrustling and me to start the
microwave, and she comesrunning, just wagging her tail,
drooling, and I'm like, yougotta get it together.
I still fold and give her some.
I mean, she got that was kind ofher Thanksgiving meal.
She got a little a mini play ofbread and turkey.

(16:06):
Doesn't seem to cause problems.
I mean, I feel like it's justplain bread with nothing on it,
and just plain turkey, don't doanything beyond that.
I've only gotten like problemsif I've given her like red meat
or like beef, then her tummydoes not like that.
Although that was mainly as apuppy.
I kind of just like abstain fromever trying it again after that.
I've given her like littlepieces of like steak or like
tenderlin, something like that.

(16:27):
She also just doesn't even seemthat jazzed about it, so that's
fine.
I don't need to uh necessarilybe spoiling her more.
She still gets plenty.
She doesn't get like I don'tgive her like actual real table
scraps, just the the more blandstuff.
I feel like the only things thatshe'll get are yeah, like bread
or meat or rice.

(16:48):
That's about it, I don't think.
Everyone sometimes popcorn, beenguilty of that.
A few pieces is entertaining.
The one thing that's other thanI guess maybe some fruits.
The one other thing thoughthat's kind of entertaining is
marshmallows.
She does love like littlemarshmallows.
I wasn't sure if she would, because I think the thing with
fruits is like some thingsshe'll they're like hit or miss.

(17:08):
I think she gets confused bytextures of things sometimes.
I'll give her like a she likeseggs.
Um, but if I give her a wholehard-boiled egg, which I'll
normally do if I'm like on doingroad trips with her and like get
stuff from the hotel.
Sometimes I got packaged likehard-boiled eggs.
I'll give her that and she justlooks at me like what the hell
is this?
She just kind of like takes inher mouth and drops it.

(17:29):
But if I like crush it up intoher bowl and just like squish
it, and this was not like onebig weird firm thing, then
she'll like scarf that down, like lickety split.
So I don't know what it is.
Same with bananas.
Sometimes if she gets a slice ofit, she takes a minute to figure
out how to chew, and she justlike holds it in her mouth and
drops it.
She keeps chewing.
Same thing with berries.
She like does not know how tolike chew bits or something, and

(17:52):
doesn't want to like justswallow it whole like she does
with other things like meat orbread.
She just kind of like does acrocodile roll like they without
and swallow without even reallychewing.
Uh but marshmallow she didfigure it out, and then she kind
of turned to the like thecrocodile mode of eating, where
she just like wolf it down.
But those are her her, I mean, she mainly eats her dog food.

(18:13):
I gotta be careful though.
I can't give her too many uhbits of food because I feel like
she'll get uh she learns quickand she'll be like waiting for
the next uh batch of like breador whatever.
So I just gotta like hold out.
And then she eventually getshungry and eats her bowl of
food.
I'm very glad she's manages toself-regulate and not eat too
much.
So I can just have like a giant, she had like a big old bowl of

(18:35):
food hanging out.
So it's kind of nice.
I don't have to.
I mean, it's not that hard togive her breakfast and dinner or
whatever people gotta do, but itis kind of convenient that I can
just have a big bowl out for herwhenever.
Although I think kind of people,I think it's probably less
common to be able to do that, ifat least to do that and have her

(18:56):
not get too chunky.
She seems to stay a healthyweight, luckily.
My grandpa and grandma have adog where they just keep a big
old bag of food in the garage.
And she's shut his differently.
I mean, she's not the most obesedog I've seen, but she's got a
healthy belly, she'sentertaining.
But it's funny, like, especiallywhen those other dogs are
around, she gets a little bitlike competitive eater mode
turned on, flips a switch.

(19:17):
Like if I visited with my dogand I just like look in the
garage, and this dog has justgot his head like fully gone in
this bag of dog food, just likeeating as much as she can and
just gobbling it down.
It's pretty entertaining.
But yeah, different strokes, Iguess, for different folks and
felines or canines, I guess.
I was going for thealliteration, but didn't quite

(19:39):
work there.
And different folks anddifferent fluffers.
I don't know.
Doesn't matter.
We're gonna move on.
Um, but that was yeah, solidThanksgiving, didn't do too
much.
Then kind of I was maybedebating going to a movie.
I saw they had some likeThanksgiving horror movie, which
is interesting.
Although I guess it was maybe arerun from a few years ago, so I

(20:01):
didn't didn't end up going.
I did end up seeing the newpredator movie.
Uh Badland?
I don't know.
I've actually never seen any ofthe Predator or alien movies,
but so I feel like I was lookingat the reviews or something.
I guess it's like a totallydifferent thing, because like
normally the the predators arelike the the antagonist, the bad

(20:21):
guys, but this guy was kind oflike the main character.
It's is pretty entertaining.
It was you know, I don't I won'tget into spoilers, but I don't
even care.
Yeah, well, I mean I'm not gonnareally try to.
I'll I'll try to be careful bybut this little little cute
homie alien, well not reallycute, but uh smaller than the

(20:43):
rest, trying to, you know, gethis get back and build up a clan
with some other critters, whichis cool.
Um I guess it was PG 13, which Ididn't realize because it was
like plenty graphic of thingsgetting totally obliterated and
like ripped to pieces, but Iguess maybe because it's just
like alien blood and like funkystuff, it was PG-13, because I

(21:06):
saw that.
I'm like, oh what is this gonnabe?
This is gonna be like a somesort of like really kid-friendly
movie, but it didn't not seemlike that.
It's more it was pretty kind ofgory, honestly.
But not like too bad.
I mean, I guess it's like morelike alien stuff just blowing up
and getting ripped up, but Iwill say I did not well, I guess

(21:27):
there was like a beheading, alien beheading, which I think I
think that happened, or maybe Ijust inferred that's what
happened.
I don't know.
But no, I feel like there'sdefinitely several.
I feel like there were, yeah, Idon't think I'm tripping on
that.
Which yeah, I did not expectbecause I was like, Oh, this is
PG 13.
But it was a solid movie.

(21:47):
I was thoroughly entertained.
I mean, I don't know how thereviews were.
I feel like reviews for me areso hit or miss like when I see
stuff, and I guess my thresholdfor reviews mostly is like if I
found it entertaining.
Because I've gone to like somemovies that get like crazy good
reviews or whatever, and most ofthe time it's like some of the
Oscar movies, and I'm like, thisis not my cup of tea.

(22:08):
I've been to I think the lastone was like Killers of the
Flower Moon or something.
It was like some DiCaprio one.
That was kind of a fucked upmovie, it's kind of depressing
what was going on.
Like, though I will say, like,it was it was very good acting
from Leo, the homeboy DiCaprio.
I mean, I can't I can't hate onthat part of it, but I think all

(22:29):
that was probably good and itwas probably very well made and
cinematically and all that, butI just like didn't find it that
uh personally entertaining, sothat's all I judged on.
Not really based on any other uhmore professional merits, but
you know, it's all I care aboutis if I can have a good time
grabbing down popcorn to it.
Cause that's main that's likehalf the reason I go to movies.

(22:51):
I end up always eating way toomuch popcorn.
I got some like discount thingfor popcorn for the year.
Hopefully there's a new thingfor next year, because I mean,
it's like ridiculous how much itcosts.
I feel like I feel like it'slike 30 bucks for if I want to
like get a large popcorn and adrink.
But with this like differentcoupons and should I use always
like six bucks.
So I was like, this is the steelof a deal.

(23:13):
And then I was like, I shouldn'teat this whole bucket of
popcorn, but I always do.
So I just have recently, by theend of the year, gave up on
trying to not eat the wholebucket.
And there's definitely timewhere two years like maybe did
too much, but you know, I'vetrained my digestive system to
eat a whole large popcorn andchug of Pepsi or Mountain Dew or

(23:34):
whatever I'm feeling at thetime.
All that stuff.
So it's all quintessential partsof the movie experience.
I feel like I haven't, yeah, gone to more movies recently
than I had in the past.
It's been a good time.
So that was a good movie.
I feel like there's other stuffplaying.
I don't know how it looked tome.
There's like The Running Man anduh Now You See Me, Now You Done.

(23:58):
They both looked kind of likecheesy to me or something.
Not that the other stuff wasn't.
I don't know.
I just wasn't feeling it at thetime.
Maybe we'll check it out later.
But did fuck with the alienmovie.
I think that was, yeah, Fridaythat I saw that Black Friday
after I wasted too much timeshopping and money.
But maybe there's gonna be lotsof big stuff coming from that.

(24:19):
You know, we invested, I got, Iguess I got this new mic that
hopefully this sounds good.
Did get a better camera.
Well, I don't know if it'sbetter, but hopefully you can do
maybe uh have a new setup whereyou're not looking at me uh just
sitting on my bedroom floor asiconic as this is, might, you
know, upgrade the the podstudio.

(24:40):
But I guess I got the camerathat I mean lots of impulsive
stuff, but oh I guess I didn'tbring anything to show off this
week.
I'll I'll have to make up for itnext week.
I'll I'll just tell you aboutall.
I mean, I guess probably mademore impulsive purchases this
week than I will in a while.
So it's probably not gonna bemore.
There really shouldn't be morein the next week, but who knows?

(25:03):
Um where was I going?
Oh, yes, we got the camera.
And I think made the executivedecision we're gonna we're gonna
start some yo cash daddystreams, get some more of that
out there because it was likeI've been playing too much Call
of Duty or Fortnite, althoughnow I'm kind of like burnt out
on it a little bit.
Like I don't want to play thatmuch more.
But maybe there's other stuff Iwant to play.
But I was like, I should just, you know, start streaming this.

(25:27):
You know, there's crazy money onthis, yo.
Can I get a kick deal?
Maybe once people startwatching, that'd be sick.
Uh luckily that no one'swatching or paying too much
attention to this, but maybesoon.
Actually, the most of the I feellike when I look at the stuff,
like the majority of theengagement I have is just like
me getting absolutely flamed bysome old farts on Facebook, but

(25:49):
like, who the fuck is thismoron?
And I mean they're not wrong, but it is kind of funny that
those are the ones.
So I need to maybe I gotta getup, I gotta like really figure
out ways to troll the Facebookold folks so I can, you know,
think that's good for thealgorithm, whatever they say.
No such thing as bad pubpublicity, can't even speak.
Um, so I don't know what I cansay to piss them off the most,

(26:10):
but you know, really rile themup.
That'll be if I gotta do what Igotta do for the algorithm,
guys, you know, I'll I'll dothat.
Um I don't know.
I don't know how to triggerthem.
But we we won't focus on thatfor the time being.
I'll keep it in the back of myhead.
But so I think we got some stuffto maybe start streaming.

(26:31):
I don't actually know how to dothis, but got like the Elgato
thing for like putting the uhwhatever you call it, like Xbox
gameplay to send that to astream to the computer.
Did get a new computer tohopefully use for that and other
stuff too, but like one of theMac minis, which I guess, which

(26:54):
is surprising to me.
I was like reading reviews aboutthe newer model of like Mac
minis, the M4 chip, I think iswhat it is.
Like uh it's got it's basicallyfrom what I read, people were
saying it's basically the bestcomputer you can get for the
money, like even building yourown with for like the size and
how it performs, which is kindof crazy for an Apple thing.

(27:15):
But I think where the gitch isthe second you get anything
other than like the very likecheapest base model is like they
charge the hell out of you, likeevery any part of it is just
like way too expensive.
Like all of the RAM or likestorage upgrades, every one of
them is like a fixed 200 bucks, which is kind of crazy.
Like going from 256 to 512 gigsis 200 bucks, and I think that's

(27:38):
not something funny, but they'reshowing like the price has been
that it was the same as it waslike 10 years ago, which is
insane because I mean you shouldthink it's like such a small
fraction of the price that stuffhas gotten over the time.
So I didn't get like thecheapest base model because
that's what I was saying.
I mean, I don't think I need toomuch for it.
If especially I don't know whatI'll do with it, mainly if even

(28:00):
if I'm streaming, I'm probablygonna be streaming Xbox stuff,
so that'll be doing the gaming.
I'm not gonna try to game offthis, and it's gotta handle the
stream, which I think shouldn'tbe too bad.
So it was like 480 on sale, sothat was like it's pretty sick
to get.
And I I did get a like USB hub,so with some more ports, and

(28:21):
it's got like an option for likeinstalling your own like MVME
SSD chip, and it got atwo-terabyte one, so that should
give us more because like itonly gives you 256 for the base
model, which is not a lot.
So I'll probably also get likeuh maybe like a one of those HDD
drives, which are like slowerbut cheaper and get more memory.

(28:42):
But yeah, the 200, like I mean,I guess for like it was like the
the car was like 150 for the twoterabyte SSD and like 50 for the
hubs is like 200 total, but if Iwere to like get two terabytes
on that thing from Apple, thatwould be like an extra$600
versus 200, which is kind oflike crazy dub charging.
So we're rocking with that andgot that today and set that up

(29:05):
so it seems to work swell.
Looks good with that.
And though I was reading, likebecause it seemed like I was
like trying to look at the pricethings, gotta stand that grind
set of checking uh what's thatcalled?
There's some website.
Camel, Camel, Camel, I think iswhat it's called, which is
useful to check out if you'retrying to, you know, make sure

(29:26):
you're getting the best deal.
It's like a useful thing forit's for Amazon specifically.
I think only Amazon.
There's maybe other like stuff, like similar websites for other
things, but it's like a websitewhere you can just like type in
a product or like you copy youruh URL and paste it in for
whatever you're looking at, andit'll like show you all the
price history.
So it's kind of helpful to belike, is this actually on sale?

(29:48):
Because I feel like a lot ofthere are plenty of Amazon
things where they'll say they'reon sale.
Amazon's maybe not so bad forthis, honestly, but other places
are where it's like Black Fridaydeal and it says it's like
whatever.
Ever off retail, but it's likenormally always at that price.
So I'm like, okay, I'm actuallynot gonna buy that right now
because it doesn't really looklike it's even different from
when it was not on Black Friday.

(30:10):
But that's that's besides thepoint.
Still spent, still gonna stop mefrom blowing a lot of money.
Maybe though it's an investment,guys.
We're gonna get the crazy ROIones, you know.
We get those crazy sponsorshipdeals, it's all gonna be worth
it in the end.
Oh my gosh, my nose is stuffy.
Luckily, my throat doesn't hurtanymore.
We'll see though.

(30:30):
It kind of hits late.
I also I keep like fighting itand trying to sleep more and
hoping this like cold goes away.
But every morning, I wake up andlike feel like absolute dog
water, and I'm like, oh, do notwant to get out of bed.
But then I go for a long walkwith the dog, and usually I feel
a little bit better.
Although I start getting coldpretty quick.
So I get a little bit of chills, you know, when you're not
feeling good.
That part's not great.

(30:52):
But I just kind of want to takea nap in a hot tub.
Sounds perfect to me right now.
Make it uh maybe just, you know, laying a hot pot of chicken
noodle soup.
Sounds pretty good.
Yeah.
I'm not even hungry, but justlike the taste of chicken noodle
soup in my mouth right now.
Could use that.
Uh where were we?
Oh, yeah.

(31:13):
So got that.
Oh, I was talking about the theprices of SSDs.
So I guess they're like startingto climb up because a lot of the
AI companies and whatever fortheir data centers want, at
least maybe the fancier oneswith I don't actually know what
this is, so I could be totallybutchering this NAND or
something.
So I don't actually know howthese SSD MV NVMEs work.

(31:35):
I don't know anything about thehardware really.
But some extra feature thatmakes them a little bit faster.
So there's like a big demand forthat for all these like AI data
centers and stuff, and that'sreally driving up the price,
maybe you know.
If this is an AI bubble, thenhopefully it pops.
And well, I wish hopefully itdoesn't pop.
I think that would be probablyvery bad for very many people.

(31:57):
So if it does, hopefully itbrings those prices down.
Not that actually it doesn'teven matter to me anymore
because I already bought one,and I'm not trying to go too
crazy.
But got that locked in and dealon a monitor.
And I did get a stream deck,I've always wanted one, even
just for random stuff.

(32:17):
They are kind of fun.
Having set it up.
I've not done any streams yet,but it's coming soon.
I gotta figure out how to set itup.
I got this set up on like alittle mini rolling disc, and
I'm gonna like clamp it all in.
So hopefully we are realofficial and try to, you know,
at least when I'm playing, mightas well hit record or whatever

(32:38):
stream.
What I actually have no idea.
I got lots to look at over thenext few weeks.
Want to get the streams rolling, get a website set up.
I did buy some domains.
It is kind of fun to have boughtan web domain and try to figure
all that out.
There's also like all sorts ofstuff with that.
I guess like some of the places, like I feel like it was when I

(32:59):
was reading, it's like there'slike Google domains, or maybe
that's Squarespace now.
Maybe Squarespace bought it.
They're really kind of tax, butif I think the cheapest stuff
that seems like pretty reliableto get one is like Dynadot.
I think that's what I bought itthrough.
It's like the best deal.
So shout out to them if you wantto go get a website domain.
I don't actually have itrunning, but I got a few.

(33:19):
I think people even invest inthose, like buy like some useful
domain.com and try to sell it topeople, like buy like Tesla.com
and hope you know Elon makesTesla and sell it to him.
Which is, I mean, I just gottapick the right one, so it's kind
of interesting.
Um but have to, I don't know.

(33:42):
I don't know how you pick theright ones, but there are some
funny ones.
All sorts of weird domains.
There's like dot money or someweird things other than dot com.
But that's all besides thepoint.
Any other things that I made?
I'm trying to think of what elseI bought.
Mainly, it was mainly, you know, equipment.
Hopefully, trying to get that uhthat uh this whole studio up and

(34:06):
running.
But if you the specific specificgames you want to see, let me
know.
I think probably meaning mainlyplaying COD or Fortnite, those
are the main things I've played, but you know, definitely GTA 6
when it comes out, but that'snot gonna be tell hell.
I don't even know if 2026 isthat likely at this point.
It would be sick.
I hope they have a coolcollector's edition for it.
I'm definitely missing the daysof buying collectors edition

(34:29):
games, although I totally gotscammed buying the Elden Ring
DLC Collector's Edition.
I shouldn't have done that.
I jumped on it because I waslike hyped when I saw the DLC
came off of that.
I still even have, I haven'teven played the DLC.
I played the regular game, although I definitely like
played like the cheese strategy, kind of playing like one of the

(34:50):
mages where you get like some OPspells.
It's still pretty fun.
So maybe I'll have to, you know, actually, you know, man up and
do it with a sword or something.
But it was it was a fun game.
But the the collector's editionfor that sold out really quick,
and like the stuff for it wasalways like the super expensive
statues from it.
I'm kind of into those.
Like, at least when I waslittle, I always liked some of
the fancy collectors editiongames.

(35:13):
Like, remember the first one Igot probably that was super
hyped about was like the RCXDBlack Ops version that was so
hyped to me.
And then I ended up buying likea few older ones.
Um, there's like a Halo onewhere you got the helmet.
There's an MW2 one where theycame with night vision goggles.
I think they remade thatrecently for a newer one.

(35:34):
I don't know how they work.
BO2 had like an actual likedrone, I forget what they're
called in the game.
Umes that I were super hyped forwas uh Skyrim after the fact
that like that Elduin uh on themountain statue.
That was that was probably mosthyped for that when I finally
got one of those.

(35:54):
That's like probably one of thegames I've spent the most time
playing.
That or GTA, Skyrim or GTA, oneof those two.
What else?
I mean GTA had one, didn'treally have that much, honestly,
but I was like hype for itbecause it was at the time when
it gave you like exclusiveaccess to a few vehicles that
you couldn't buy otherwise, Ithink, or it just made them
free.
I think eventually they madethat so you could buy them, but

(36:17):
there was like a a short whileor like it was an exclusive,
exclusive whip to go around inGTA back in the early days.
Back before there was no fourthcharacter in GTA, you know, you
had just Michael Franklin andTrevor.
Did I say that right?
Yeah.
And there's just like thatbottom slot when we didn't even
know GTA Online was a thing.
That was so hype when it finallydropped, honestly.

(36:37):
Although it was you had to likewait like a month for it to come
out, and it was so buggy.
I remember I was like, I justspawned out in the desert, and
then I found the injection, theBF injection.
I remember it's like this littlelike it's like a Volkswagen
Beetle is what it looks like, but like built for offering
where it's got big tires, kinda, and you can whip around that,
and I was like, this is my whip.

(36:58):
And then like my stuff got itkept getting like reset, and I
like lost my car, and I was justlike heartbroken.
But then eventually the I thinkthey got things working smooth,
and they gave me like uh a halfa ticket or something like crazy
at the time.
Maybe it probably wasn't eventhat much.
Like this was prior to sharkcars.
I didn't you couldn't even buyGTA money at this point.

(37:20):
Actually, the only way to makemoney at this time was like me
and the homies just doing onlineraces.
I remember grinding down thedrain in like the the LA tunnel
race, doing that over and overuntil we got enough money to buy
like our our three-car garages, and yeah, I think the main cars
I had were the BF injection, thesprunk bike.

(37:42):
I think it saved it for that.
And I do remember I had somehomage who's doing some
glitches.
I got this like the spacedocker, I think it was like the
Dune buggy, but it had likealien stuff, it's pretty sick.
But then eventually they liketook it away.
Probably when they're fixingglitches.
That was back in the day.
They also had these like DNScodes where like people could
use glitches and like give youlike a billion dollars.
It would be like something wherethey did something to their like

(38:06):
internet settings, then theycould set bounties on people
that were like a billiondollars, so it was like in their
games, and then just like killedsome dude and they like had a
billion in my account, and Icould just basically buy
everything.
It's kind of crazy.
I don't actually know, andthey'd get like crazy levels off
of it, so everyone got to likelevel like 400 or something
crazy.
I didn't ever actually do it toset it up because I think I

(38:30):
don't know if they ever gotbanned, but I think they got a
lot of their stuff reset.
Because I think so many peoplewere doing it that it'd be like
if they banned everyone, it'dbeen like pretty bad.
But I did like keep most of thestuff that I bought, I think.
So I was like, although I spentso much probably on GTA.
I've spent too much on GTA,like, or just any honestly, like
microtransactions and games.

(38:52):
GTA is probably the worst convencontender.
Everything's been bad.
I mean, Fortnite at this pointis probably competing just for
how long it's been out.
GTA I played a long time though,so I don't know.
What else is there?
Or BO3, BO3 the loot crates, that was bad.
I was like so hyped.
I played BO3 is still probablymy my GOAT cod.

(39:15):
I honestly missed that.
BO7s are pretty fun, honestly,but can't have B03.
Now I just want to play that, honestly.
Maybe I'll stream that.
Some zombies.
I played the B07 zombies a tinybit.
There's a lot going on.
It seems kind of interesting.
I still don't love the feel ofit.
Like BO3, like the health barsand stuff seem kind of weird on
the zombies, so I haven't gottenused to that.

(39:36):
But it's kind of fun driving theold Tessie truck through the
farm.
I don't actually really knowwhat I'm doing.
I've only played like threegames, but I shouldn't even only
two.
So I can't speak too much.
Just did like the small likefarm one.
At first it was like really hot, like going through, I was like,

(39:57):
what the heck?
Like, I didn't even have time tobuy perks at the end of rounds
before the zombies came runningin.
Then I realized someone turnedon some like a rage mode where
these zombies were just likeflying out of nowhere and just
like really they were like methdub zombies, and it was kind of
like what the hell is going on?
But I feel like you can maybeturn it off lighter.
Someone maybe did that, and thenthey all ex-filled, so it's kind

(40:18):
of lame.
The X-Fill is kinda-I mean, seems kind of lame to me.
I feel like you all just gottatake the L X-Fill.
I don't really want to do that, but then I guess like they could
ex-fill without everyone votingon it, and then I was like,
fine, I'll do it.
Because like some guy dude justlike disconnected after it.
I was pretty sure I votedagainst it, so I don't know how
it spawned.

(40:38):
Some like big zombie bear showedup and I was like, what in the
hell is going on?
Fucking it up with the ray gun.
Good times, sound of the raygun, just blasting the piano
piano.
That's not at all how it sounds, but if you know you know, it's I
don't even know what elsecompares no other, no other gun.

(41:00):
I mean, it's kind of I guess theonly thing that's maybe as
iconic would be like maybe likethe the grand like ching when
you like you hit empty the clipand it shoots out.
Um but yeah.
So this is B07.
I have no idea.
I don't think I'm gonna traceback to exactly how we got to
this one.
I think it was just maybetalking about games to play.

(41:22):
Yeah.
Oh, sign about collector.
Did I don't even think I I don'teven think I finished where I
was going.
It's talking about collector'seditions.
So Elden Ring, the firstedition, or the first like
whatever base game collector'sedition had like some millennia
statue millennia.
I don't know how you saysomething.

(41:44):
And whatever it was expensive, sold out.
And then they had like acollector's edition for the
Shadow of the Urchery DLC, and Ithink it was like I think I
legit paid like 200 bucks forit.
And then like I've I feel likethe price kept dropping it
because I don't know if theymade a whole bunch of them and
were trying to sell it.
It was like a statue of it'skind of cool, a mesmero, but
it's honestly pretty cheap.
Like this thing is probably notmore than like 10 bucks for them

(42:05):
to make, honestly, once I gotit.
And then I did see them finallylike selling it for like 50
bucks, and I'm like, wow, thatreally took an L on this one.
I thought I was trying to beproactive by it early, and I
actually just got shafted.
That was the only time I'vereally taken an L on that.
Other cool DLCs, that's where Iwas going.
I got on a tangent from GTAbecause I don't even know what I
got out of that.

(42:26):
I make out like a hat, like alock bag, and maybe a map of
like Los Santos.
But um BO3, pretty, prettytop-tier collector's edition
because I got a uh a Juggernautmini fridge, which is pretty
sick.
I actually never actually ranit, but I just got it sitting on
the shelf.
Iconic.
There's also like a Pit Boycollector's edition for Fallout

(42:51):
4.
I don't know.
I don't know my Fallouts.
I never really played them thatmuch.
I mean I got that because it waskind of at the time when I was
like just hyped on collectorseditions, and you know, I mean I
always spend money on dumb shit.
I guess just what dumb shit itis that changes, you know.
I'm like, wow, I've grown upnow, I'm done spending my money

(43:14):
on dumb stuff like that, but Ithen proceed to buy other dumb
stuff.
So, you know, it's life.
What goes around comes around.
That's not at all the phrasethat's appropriate for there.
I don't I don't actually knowwhat the phrase I wanted was,
but it's just what came outfirst.
Anyways, um, yeah.
I think there's I mean, I feellike I have so many games that I

(43:34):
like bought on sale.
Didn't I held back, didn'treally buy anything on the Black
Friday Xbox sale.
Because I feel like keep doingthat, and then I just never
actually play the games.
I feel like I have like severalFallout games, no, not Fallout,
Far Cry games.
Well, I mean I do have severalFallout games to play, but Far
Cry games, which are I feel likebasically all the same, but
they're all pretty fun, fungames to play.
Because I think the last one, actually, no, I never played the

(43:57):
one.
I think it was Far Cry VI.
It was the one with theGiancarlo Esposito, the Gus
Fring from Five Guys, not FiveGuys Breaking Bad from Los Poyos
Hermanos.
Is that the place?
I think this is chicken place.
Wait, something.
I don't actually know.
I haven't watched Breaking Badin too long.

(44:20):
I mean, actually, in like 10years at least.
What the heck?
That's terrifying.
I do kind of want to watch itagain.
Oh, there's lots I gotta watch.
I gotta backlog of stuff.
I haven't I want to watch thenew Stranger Things season.
Although I I canceled my Netflixa while back.
I was trying to save that money.
So I think I'll get it once theyrelease all of it.
Because I think that's howthey're like released.

(44:41):
It's like they're releasing it,they released the first half of
it, and then the next half onChristmas, and the finale on New
Year's Eve, I think.
Something kind of weird.
But they're all pretty long, soI'll have to renew it for that.
And then I guess I also gottafinish the U season.
I never finished that.
And lots of other stuff, lots ofApple TV stuff, and some Disney

(45:02):
stuff.
There's some Star Wars seasonsthat I want to watch, even
though I've never watched theStar Wars movies, so I should do
that.
I should lock in and watch thoseso I can actually understand
some of it.
That is some like I mean, I'mdefinitely plenty much of a
nerd, but that's some of thenerds that has evaded me, or I
have evaded, however you want toput it.
So I mean, I'll do it for theculture, watch those.

(45:23):
I mean, I think I've watchedenjoyed the stuff I watched, so
I think it's not that I am notinto it or wouldn't like it for
any reason.
I mean, I I I'm a big fan oflike Lord of the Rings, so it's
honestly just like that, but youknow, more going on, so it's
kind of sick having LyceHaberis, honestly, it's pretty
sick, so no real reason that Inever watched it.
I guess my parents just neverplayed it.

(45:44):
I don't know.
I think I like went to homies'birthday parties that were super
into it, and I had no idea whatthey're talking about.
They're like yelling the stuff.
Like, and I really don't know.
I think the only thing I knew isthere was a guy called Yeah
Chewy or something.
People said that, yeah.
But that was yeah, I need likethe names.

(46:06):
I remember Skywalker, becausethat was like some everyone I
feel like playing Wizard 101.
I'd play, and their their nameswere always that.
I'm like, why does everyone namethat?
And then I realized it was likea Star Wars character.
But that's honestly iconic game,Wizard 101.
Maybe I played that.
I used to actually most games Iplay, I like in general.
I mean, I like animals and pets, but spend way too much time

(46:28):
focused on like the pets andstuff, especially in Wizard 101.
I was so hyped because you canmake hybrid animals.
Well, they weren't like hybrids, they're just like special things
you can get if you like wouldhatch your pet with someone
else's pet.
So I still remember that.
I remember having some likegoing on like uh some Wizard 101
forums to try to, you know, it'slike low-key, like uh, you know,

(46:54):
trying to looking for hookupsite, but for your Wizard 101
pets.
And then I was like, I think Iwas like using my mom's email,
honestly, at this point.
I was like 10.
And I was like trying to like, Iwanted to like hatch my
Stormzilla pet.
Actually, it was a Firezillafrom some card I bought at Best
Pilot, and I was so gassed.
Actually, honestly, Wizard 101might be up there for the top

(47:16):
games I spent money on.
That's I don't know, so soiconic.
But I was trying to find somelady with some there were
allegedly some pets in Wizard101 where like only the
employees had these pets withthese abilities where like this
pet would like cast a spell inthe middle of your battle to
help you out.
And I wanted one and then likefound some lady on the forum.

(47:39):
I think her like it was like ausername of like Necroman.
I think I never actually do it,ended up doing it because like
my mom was like, Why am Igetting emails from some lady
called Necroman?
What are you doing?
And I'm like, Mom, chill.
I'm trying to get a pimped outby your Zilla, alright?
Don't worry about it, alright?
Stay in your lane.
But never happened.
I think I got I got like, Idon't know why I got nervous to

(48:02):
message back.
I feel like I feel like there'sseveral things.
I think there was also somethingwhen I was like, uh, I mean, I
was probably not that mucholder.
It was like all the Ty Lopezvideos, and I think I like I
filled out something based onone of them where they're like,
join our club or whatever, we'regonna teach you to trade and
make a million dollars.
And I did it, and then like Igot like uh like I said, to fill

(48:24):
out something like I will be acommitted student and I will
learn, I will trade hours a dayor something.
And then like I got nervousbecause I got called back from
somebody who's like, I'm callingfor Ties Club and whatever,
whatever.
But now that bro's like face incharge, it's a good thing I
didn't do that.
Um I don't actually know what itwas, but I still remember that

(48:45):
because I'm like, oh shit, I gota call.
Then I got nervous, partiallybecause it was like 10, and I
was like, I have no idea what'sgoing on.
I don't know why I filled thatout.
I mean, I guess I send lots ofstuff online when I was little.
Like, I guess I previouslypreviously mentioned like I
emailed like lobster farms andlike even crocodile farms, be
like, uh, yo, can you hook meup?
How much for a crocodile, babycrocodile?

(49:07):
So I was really just out therejust shooting my shot at anyone.
So, you know, I guess you youmiss 100% of the shots you don't
take, whatever they say.
That Michael Squat Scott WayneGreske quote, cannot talk, but
good times, good times.
So maybe I'll have to streamsome wisdom 101 when we get that
fully up and rolling.

(49:27):
I really have a lot to figureout though, but it's kind of
kind of fun to get things setup.
But yeah, no, it's been been aneventful holiday.
We got all that set up.
Um, I don't really know ifthere's that much more I need
to.
I guess I gotta like I orderedsome like stuff to like mount
the the Mac mini.
It's impressively small.
It is pretty nice to the my minidesk.

(49:51):
So if I tip it over, I don'tlike break everything.
I mean, I guess things could Iguess things have tip over there
screwed up, but more so if Idon't knock something off this
table.
Got a clamp to like get thismonitor locked in.
I don't haven't actuallycompared, like this monitor has
like built-in speakers, so I waslike kind of like curious if

(50:12):
that was like well I was tryingto find something with that
because I didn't really want tohave to do like get separate
speakers, even if it's like ashitty speaker on the monitor.
I'm not really trying to getanything great, but just for if
I'm wanting some sort of audioplaying out of this like setup.
But when I set up the Mac Mini,I didn't even realize this

(50:33):
little box has its own speakers, but I guess it's a speaker in
this metal box, so it's probablynot that great.
So having compared.
Speaking of speakers, I did getactually that is another impulse
to purchase.
Um, but hopefully it was like Ikept getting like cashback
stuff, so I was hopefully can,you know, whatever, apply some
stuff to my card or whatever.

(50:53):
I don't know.
But for some like light upspeaker, which I'm kinda hyped
about, some like Goveysomething.
I feel like I've just beengiving all sorts of like brand
reads this this episode, youknow.
But I'm just yapping.
It's like this cool light whereit's got a JBL speaker in it.
Um I mean it's mostly cool, thelight, honestly.
And the speaker, I think it'sdecent enough.

(51:15):
You know, this is only somethingI was probably gonna have in
like the bedroom, but I'm kindahyped for that to come.
I'll see, I'll let you know.
I'll show that off in the nextthing.
Actually, I got I'll have waytoo much to show off, honestly.
But I held off on, well, Ibought too much equipment.
I feel like there's other thingsI was gonna buy, but I was like,
no, I've I'm cutting myself off.
I've spent more money than Ishould.

(51:35):
And I've like I'm gonna havebills to pay.
But we're we're trying to, youknow, trying to make that money,
work it back so we can get thatreturn.
Um I think we'll try to streamon everything that we can,
multi-stream or whatever youcall it.
At least the big ones, which Idon't actually know what that
is.
Is that just like Twitch kick?
I was gonna say a rumble, but Ithink I looked at Rumble and I

(51:57):
realized it was all like justlike really political stuff, so
probably not.
I mean, I guess I would.
If that's what the vibe is.
I don't really care where itgoes.
Goody know if it's easy to addon.
But I guess I think there's likeFacebook, you know, really
squabble with some grammas.
It is entirely entertaining thatthat is majority of the the the

(52:20):
content or the comments from whoare I'm not making coherent
sentences, but they just want tobe us so bad they hate us, you
know?
That's all it is, whatever theysay.
Oh my goodness.
Have we been doing on time?
Okay, we got time, we got time.

(52:40):
I don't know whether we want toyap about.
There's lots of things to do,but I think I mean I don't even
think there's any deals at thispoint for tomorrow.
I can't spend more cuttingmyself off officially, at least
for now.
I mean, maybe unless I buyChristmas gifts, there are more
of that that I want to do.
So I take that back.
At least so for myself, I'mcutting myself off there.

(53:02):
There, there's there's a firmboundary, you know.
This is called self-control.
Well, not even self-control,just basic uh budgeting.
That's what it is.
Not uh going into debt.
Maybe I could start gambling soI can pay that off sooner than
buy more.
Wow.
This is America perfect ways.
And I could uh just get all myChipotle on the loans and then

(53:28):
uh use that to gamble and makemoney.
So then I just gotta make morethan the interest, and I'm
basically getting paid by thewhatever credit companies.
What a time.
How do I how do I invest in theburrito loans or short them so
we can don't have like the bigshorter burrito loans?
I don't know how that works.

(53:49):
How consolidated loans.
What was the company that waseven offering that?
I forget.
I don't even know how you dothat.
It is kind of crazy howeverything is like buy-in
payments.
I've never actually done it.
Cause I mean, I feel like that'sjust easy to lose track of.
I mean, I guess normally I justfeel weird about it.
I didn't even have a credit cardfor like till like a few years

(54:10):
ago.
And then I was like trying to dosomething and realized I had
absolutely no credit.
So just get a basic credit cardgame so you can at least have
some credit.
Just to get like, I had to getlike a I tried to like apply to
everything, but legit everyonerejected me.
I sent out so many credit cardapplications because I was like,
well, I have no credit score, soeven though because I guess you

(54:31):
apparently get like uh a ding onyour whatever credit report
history when you like they do, Iguess they call it like a hard
pull when they check yourcredit, and this like bad for
your credit, which is kind ofweird to me.
I don't know how this works orwho decided this, but so I was
like nervous to do it, then Idid it, but it was like it
didn't even matter because I hadno credit.

(54:52):
Um it's kind of funny, like mycredit went up like a thousand
because when I after I finallygot a credit card, because like
for the long while after I firsthad credit, like the my credit,
whatever score things would likeread like off the charts
negative, but I think it'sprobably just some default
value.
It's not actually anythingmeaningful.
It just had like negative 400 orsomething like absurd.

(55:15):
So then it went up to like 600once there was finally credit,
and it was like plus a thousandthis month, and I was like, can
I do it next month?
Get 1600.
I got that double 800 creditscore.
Didn't happen, sadly.
I was hoping, you know, theyjust giving me money after that,
but that growth did not continuein my credit score.
So where was I?

(55:35):
Oh, I was talking about like theloan done stuff.
Because yeah, everything I feellike has like pay now or paying
for payments with PayPal creditor whatever, but I've never
actually done that.
I feel like I'll just also likeforget all your payments.
I feel like that's a good way tojust forget.
Because I feel like a lot oftimes, especially just I feel
like the tricky stuff of payingwith like card in general.

(55:57):
I totally lose track and thenlike checking my bank account.
I'm like, oh, I did not realizehow much money I spent spending.
Okay, we're having uh oatmealfor dinner for the rest of the
month.
That's uh honestly though, maybeoatmeal is pretty good as long
as you add a healthy amount ofbrown sugar to it, pretty fire,
or cinnamon.
I used to be pretty bad aboutthat.
Like I'd put so much cinnamon, like it would just smell like

(56:20):
cinnamon in my apartment, and myroommates would be like, what
the hell is it in here?
And like normally, actually, most of the time I'd do it and
I'd overdo it, and my tonguewould tingle when I was eating
it, but I'd like to try to likehave probably just enough
cinnamon before that point.
Although it didn't really stabme if my tongue was tingling,
but I was like, this is maybeoverkilling the cinnamon.
However, uh, I feel like I sawsomething where it's like maybe

(56:42):
oatmeal's got a perfect blend offiber for you, of like the mix
of insoluble and soluble fiberor something.
I forget what you should bothdo.
I think insoluble is just like, you know, gives you turds,
basically.
Insoluble is like makes some gelin your guts and it slows stuff

(57:06):
down so you digest lower, maybe, and you want both.
I guess like fiber does a lot ofimportant things.
I was like, and I don't evenknow how.
Oh, actually, I think I was Idon't know.
I was reading some all sorts ofmaybe it was like health videos
that I came across.
I don't know.
One of my many tangents, justlike my speaking of internet
perusing.

(57:26):
So I was like, well, maybe Ishould have my oatmeal more.
I mean, because I have plenty ofit, but I go in spurts.
Um because that's that's I don'tknow, it does lots of good stuff
for you.
So eat your fiber and yourprotein.
Because I think as I was lookingat stuff, because I ended up
buying, I haven't actually hadany, actually I have one scoop
of it, but like protein andcreatine powder for the first

(57:50):
time ever.
I've like always been like kindof like it's like this feels
sus.
I don't know why.
Like it just felt weird.
It felt like maybe it's likeprobably like my mom rubbing off
on me because she's always likeparanoid as stuff.
I mean, although a lot of it isfounded, like most of like the
um protein powders out there, and just a lot of supplements in

(58:13):
general are just like notregulated at all, so they're
like kind of very questionablewhat you're getting.
Like that, I mean, best caseyou're just getting nothing, but
a lot of things like they havelike contaminants of like heavy
metals, which are concerning.
So at least uh do your researchon what you buy.
Don't just buy like you knowsomething off the shelf with not
looking at it, so it's kind ofconcerning.

(58:33):
So hopefully I bought stuffthat's good.
Um, but I don't know, becauseI'm reading basically like I
mean, I feel like I do eat likea ton of meat, honestly.
So I'm do pretty good on eatingprotein, but it's just like as
you get older, like you gottaeat more of it, and it's hard to
get it.
So I think there's all sorts ofdifferent types of it.
But I think I was watching somedoctor videos, so take it with a

(58:55):
grain of salt.
I don't think it's maybe the Ican't guarantee it's accurate,
but I was like, this guy seemsfairly credible.
Like, you know, unless you gotlike lactose allo allergies or
yeah, lactose or or trying to doother like vegan things.
I think like the best thing toget is just like whey isolate,
not any like the soup weight.

(59:16):
Yes.
Or maybe it was a wheyconcentrate.
Uh I think whey concentrate.
I think that's what it is.
Let me ch I don't know.
I think basically like the notsomething that's super isolated,
because there may be other goodstuff in it, and just like look
for like stuff that's basicallyonly that and no other
additives.
There's like some other one, like lecithin, I think, however

(59:40):
you say it.
It's like L E C I T H I N,Lekathine, something like that.
There's like soy that's in a lotof 'em.
I think it helps with mix, butthat's bad.
But sunflower is fine and maybesometimes good.
I don't know.
But looking at that, or if it'sjust stuff that's just like
straight away, then it's prettydecent.
So I try to find one that islike that.

(01:00:02):
And I guess creatine too.
I've always been like curiousabout it.
Because I always like to see somuch about it.
And there's people always likesaying, like, this is the most
studied supplement, so youshould be doing it.
And I was like, never like thatsold.
I guess I'm curious about it forlike running stuff, how it
helps.
But um, because I think there'slike things where it makes you
heavier because it like makesyou like pull more water into

(01:00:23):
your muscles.
But where I was like moreintrigued recently, what I
learned is like, I mean, I guessit would make sense, like once I
learned the biochem of like howyour body like makes energy and
stuff, like where creatine stufflike plays a role in that.
And the thing particularly islike it's important to like for
the the pathways for makingenergy that use like some

(01:00:44):
creatine-related molecules arelike the only ones that go on in
your brain.
Like your brain is like a sugarwhore, like only goes off like
breaking down sugar, and thatpart, which relies on like the
the creatine stuff, so creatinefor like your mental health, or
maybe not mental health likepsychologically, but more just
like cognitive health is maybeimportant.

(01:01:06):
So I'm kind of curious aboutthat.
I don't know.
So I ended up copping some.
It wasn't even on sale,unfortunately.
The protein was.
But I was gonna try to make uhmake a staple of trying to have
my oatmeal with protein andcreatine every day or something
like that to get a little bitmore and you know, get some
fiber in one.
Um I think the other thing thatpeople say is fish oil.

(01:01:29):
I think there's another mainsupplement people say is good,
or like definitively.
I feel like every I mean there'slike other things, some are
maybe marginal, but I feel likewhat I've from what I've seen is
like fish oil, which is probablylike the biggest one, and then
also like creatine and proteinare good.
So I feel like I'm trying to.
I guess I've been having lots ofcalcium for my broken foot.
I finally got sick.

(01:01:50):
I think I've been like walkingso much in the boot.
I mean, I've been really wearingit hard for like the past six
weeks, and I finally got likeit's starting to get sore in my
like hip that I wasn't wearingthe boot from like kind of
walking like slightly wonky withlike one leg shorter, and I
finally took it off, and itfeels much better.
My hip was kind of pretty sore.
My every even that leg, myAchilles was kind of aching.

(01:02:11):
Not a great time, so it's likeit's so close to healed, and I
honestly was wearing likeprobably the boot half the time
prior to this, and now thatother parts are taking control,
I think I'm just gonna becareful and take it off.
So knock on wood that I don't uhlike roll my ankle and break it
again.
So I'm just gonna be careful, but I feel like it'll be fine.
I mean, I did I've done lots ofdump stuff on it, which has been

(01:02:33):
more broke, but almost gonethrough like two big bottles of
calcium gummies from Costco.
Um I'll probably need to well, Idon't know.
I don't know if there's problemswith that.
I think it's got zinc andvitamin D in it.
So I don't know if there's otherissues with taking it.
I've probably been having alittle bit more than the
recommended amount because I'vejust been trying to, you know,

(01:02:55):
calcium max, get them bones, youknow, nice and girthy and strong
again.
Get that number down, but we'llsee.
I'll have to report back if Iwhip up a recipe.
Let you know my my uh secretbroat meal recipe, bro oatmeal.
It's always like seems like soaggressive to me, like the giant

(01:03:15):
protein containers, but I guessI get it.
Because it is kind of like gottajust be a big whatever.
I think I was gonna buy onebrand, and it seems like they
just came in bags, but like abig bag, and I'm like, how am I
gonna like reseal that a bunch?
It seems really annoying.
So I definitely now under prefunderstand the appeal of having
the big tubs with like a screwtap.
Because the bags, I feel likeI've bought bags for things like

(01:03:36):
even like hot chocolate, andit's just annoying.
Although it's yeah, no, it'sstill kind of annoying to seal
it up, and I feel like I I tapthe bag and just get like a
cloud of like dust up, and I'mlike, damn it.
I mean it probably still canhappen on the tub, but it seems
a little bit less likely, or itmaybe you have to be a little
bit less careful.
So it will work on the probablythinking that this oatmeal would

(01:03:57):
just be I don't know how muchoatmeal.
Because it depends on what I do.
Depends on what I'm trying toeat the rest of the day.
I don't know.
I've never actually reallythought too much about my diet.
I mean I try to honestly no, I'mnot that great.
I've like it's like very uhcyclic of very much one thing.

(01:04:17):
I guess I guess I have a lot ofapples in general, so it's good.
But a lot of times it's like amix of egg, mac and cheese.
Um just straight like turkey orchicken.
There was also a time where Iwas like making like pot pie
every week.
It was like this giant pot pie.
Or it was like pot pie filling, and then you like put biscuits

(01:04:37):
on top, but I ended up usingthis little red lobster biscuit
mix and just making a giantbiscuit for the top.
It was pretty good.
But I like have to eat so muchpot pie to go through it on my
own.
So after like honestly, like twoyears of making that at least
like once or twice a month, Ifinally like it's not I'm not
like sick of it.
It'd probably be good if I ateit now.
I just like now don't have muchdesire for it.
Although all of a sudden I'mgetting hungry for it as I'm

(01:04:58):
talking about it.
So I don't know if I've spokenup an appetite because before
starting this, I was like, I'mjust ready for bed.
I just want to sleep.
Um, I mean I'm still kind oflike that, but maybe it was just
the biscuits, honestly.
That's maybe what did me.
And thinking about the redlobster biscuits.
I don't even know the last timeI've been to Red Lobster either,
but I think I remember little mymom makes the biscuits in their

(01:05:19):
fire.
So like try them on that, but Idon't even know if I know what
like the red lobster biscuitstaste like from the from the
restaurant fresh.
So I'll have to go back forthat.
Or the most iconic of them all, olive garden breadsticks.
I was such a horror for those asa child.
I really want more of those.
I think there's other thingslike Texas Roadhouse rolls,
which are good and with likesome cinnamon butter or

(01:05:40):
something, but I don't feel likethey're as gas as other stuff.
Some people really like them.
I don't hate them.
Don't they're still good, don'tget me wrong, but like I don't
know.
I feel like top tiers, well, Ido like the red lobster
biscuits, so I'd have to trythose again.
But Olive Garden still, I don'tknow.
It's just like a special placein my heart.
I remember almost burning myhouse down because of those when

(01:06:02):
I was little, because they giveyou like a to-go bag for the
breadsticks if you've evergotten it.
It's like just like a whitepaper bag, but it's got a foil
lining for whatever reason.
I don't know why that'snecessary.
But um, I was hyped when I waslittle, like I had like a bag
full of breadsticks to takehome, and I was like, yo, this
is the sickest whatever uhwaiter ever.
And then the next day I justlike took it home and started to

(01:06:22):
heat it up in the microwave.
Um, but as you know, ummicrowaving anything metal foil
does not go good.
And instantly, like I turnedaround, like I hit play, uh
walked around and walked backafter like five seconds because
heard some like commotion andsaw my breadsticks in flames
because uh the foil in that bag, which I didn't even really
realize was there, just you knowstarted sparking up and that bag

(01:06:44):
on fire.
Um, so that was that waseventful.
Luckily, uh threw it in thesink.
Um, but I think my mom maybedid.
I don't even actually rememberhow it was resolved.
I just remember like what thehell is going on?
I was like, my breadsticks.
Getting absolutely torched.
But yeah, top tier.
Or just I feel like a lot ofsteakhouses for whatever reason

(01:07:05):
just have like the best damnbread you ever have, and butter.
It's always like so fresh.
I don't know, I don't know howthey do it, what they do, but I
feel like how do you all whichI'll do.
I want the recipes for all ofthem.
That's always kind of like a Ifeel like no better than any
bakery that I've ever had islegit just like some fresh bread
that they have at any likesteakhouse places like that.
I think that's top-tier bread.

(01:07:26):
Or the bread I just made, thatwas pretty good.
I will say I will pat myself onthe back a little bit.
Although it's maybe not like theobjectively best bread, but it's
like just some like dense, likewhite bread, which I'm a fan of
with some butter, dip it in thatperfect.
Could eat lots of that.
It's pretty thick though.
And I think I maybe used moreflour than I needed because I
was just like adding it and notreally paying attention.

(01:07:49):
I had it like in weirdcontainers.
Oh, because I realized that itmaybe has some like flour
beetles or something.
I don't know what this thing is.
I was reading about it because Iwas like, what are these bugs?
There was a few that were in myflour and like crawled out of
it, and I was like, is it okay?
When I started stuff earlier, and then people said something
about freezing it, so I like hadsome in like a big baggie, like

(01:08:09):
a ziploc, and others in like anice cream pail.
And I was like trying to likeapproximate how much I was using
from like I was like, this seemslike it's 20 cups.
I don't know.
But the fact that I went throughlike a 40 cup bag of flour for
like four loaves of bread isprobably uh I probably used a
little bit more than I wanted.
And it did taste the breadactually for this batch was like

(01:08:30):
almost a little bit morepretzely, so I don't know.
Does pretzel, does the recipefor pretzel bread like or just
pretzels in general have moreflour?
Because I don't know.
It's different, different,definitely a different texture,
but it's it's still pretty good,I will say.
It's just like not brown like apretzel, but it tastes kind of
like the the consistency of itor something.
At least one of them did.

(01:08:51):
I haven't had all the loves yet, honestly, so I can't tell you if
I've tasted them all.
They're all cut from the samemassive dough ball, so shouldn't
be that much variation, althoughit's maybe hard to mix.
I have no idea how much, like a10 pound dough that well.
It's maybe not the best mostwell needed, but I did my best,
you know.
What you can do.

(01:09:11):
What can you do?
Well, we'll see, we'll see.
Anyways, uh, that is that's theupdate for the week.
You know, the the latest crashout, if you will.
So I think we're gonna cut itthere.
Thank y'all for tuning in, andwe'll catch you next time.
Peace peace.
