Church Culture

Have you ever felt the pull to go to church, but became resistant when you considered the entirety of the circumstances?  Have you ever questioned being welcome in the Lord's house?  Do you wonder why young people are wrestling with trust in the church in today's climate?  I have engaged in a number of conversations over the course of my years as an evolving adult who experienced the traditional nature of the church as well as the experience in the modern environment, and set out to learn why there is a disconnect in the  current state of the church over the generations.  As a young woman who came from a rural deep southern Baptist Church in Watonga, Oklahoma I begun to observe the disconnect between the church and modern day culture, but also knew that fostering authentic conversations would be a great first step in the direction of transformation.  Come with me and my phenomenal special guests Bishop Marc D. Talbert of The Life Church in District Heights, MD and the psychological connoisseur and mighty woman of God Ms. Tiffani Arrington as we intentionally undress the joys, wounds, and healing that lives within the church in modern day culture.
