This episode we analyze BOTH arcs of Star Wars Tales of the Empire! Morgan Elsbeth, Barriss Offee. FINALLY we get more Barriss! What did we think? Do we like the way Tales is telling these stories? Does anyone care about Morgan? We saw her briefly in The Mandalorian, and much more so in Ahsoka, but is she more memorable now? We get to see the Battle of Dathomir and the fall of the Nightsisters again AND General Grevious AND Thrawn! But does her path make sense?
What about Barriss? Why should we care about her? Why does she think the Inquisitors are better than the Jedi? Is her story more interesting that Morgan's? (One of us thinks so...) Does redemption make for a better story than giving in to revenge? How do we feel about Lucasfilm and Disney filling in the gaps between the Prequel Trilogy and the Original Trilogy? Does this make Star Wars better? Do we still love Star Wars Animation and Dave Filoni? I
