S1 (00:00):
Kurt and Kate mornings. Not just on the radio.
S2 (00:03):
It's a podcast too.
S1 (00:06):
We kind of noticed something lately. There are many Christians
who are talking about the apparent glamorization of the occult
among celebrities. You know what's up with this? Is it
really true? And why should we even care?
S2 (00:22):
Yeah, and Jennifer Neesa, she really. She understands it because
she came from that world she sees better than some
of us do. What they're really talking about and how
subtly it comes into their beings and and how they're
spreading it to our children and anyone who listens. So.
And she has a heart that loves them, knows they're
(00:44):
just sinners that need to find Jesus. So I like her.
S1 (00:47):
Oh, yeah. The way she approaches it is, you know,
she says some hard things, there's no doubt. But she
really does care about these folks and and their souls.
You know, we're they're going to spend eternity. Her story
we've shared on On Curtain cave mornings. Previously on our
podcast From Psychic to Saved, and her other book is
out of the New Age and Into the Truth. And
(01:09):
when she, uh, when she returned, it's always, uh, it's
always a good conversation. And you may not agree with
absolutely everything that she shares, but it is worth considering
at the very least. First of all, we're not crazy,
are we, that celebrities, whether they be musicians, singers, actors, whatever, uh, that, uh,
(01:34):
these celebrities are really glamorizing the occult. Um, we're not nuts.
It is happening. It seems like it's just becoming more
and more prominent. And you, of course, say, yes, I've
noticed this too, but it's been a long time coming,
hasn't it?
S3 (01:52):
Oh, absolutely. No, you're not crazy at all. You're you're
bringing to light. Uh, what's going on in our pop
culture is an explosion. An explosion of glorifying the demonic.
And to be quite honest with you, I don't know
that anybody could really say that it's not happening. It's
very bold. It's very blatant. I mean, Lady Gaga, Coachella,
(02:16):
dressing in her satanic garb. That's right in your face.
That's right in your face. Yet in other areas with
other people, they present it as the love and light business.
And that can be a little bit deceiving. But hey,
Kurt and Kate, this is the deal with the devil, right?
You get your your fame, your pride, and in exchange,
you do his dirty work.
S1 (02:36):
Yeah, yeah. Is blatant. But do you think these artists
are doing this just to get a reaction? And they're like, yeah,
we don't believe in this stuff, but we're just doing
it so we can get some attention.
S3 (02:49):
No, I don't I think that they truly are deceived
and in the grip of the of the evil one.
In my recent a recent video I made about Lady Gaga,
I just mentioned her. Uh, I did some digging and
she had a mentor, Marina Abramovic, which she's a witch,
but she sought her out for mindfulness, which is a
(03:09):
new age, uh, you know, ideology and concept to calm
oneself and to, you know, meditate. And all of a
sudden she was really seeking that. I think that these
people truly, truly are deceived. When we see Emma Watson
pulling tarot cards out of her bag. I just did
a video. It's up on my YouTube now. Uh, Celebrity
What's in My bag edition, and she's pulling out tarot
(03:32):
cards and she truly relies upon them. She truly believes
and has faith into the tarot cards and the New
Age products. Uh. Who else? Kate Hudson. I have Kate Hudson,
Margot Robbie. Like I said, Emma Watson and Ariana Grande,
who is a repeat offender, to be quite honest with you.
(03:54):
And it's really sad. But do I think that she
believes in the crystal ball that she was given? Yes, absolutely.
They really, truly go to these items crystals. They believe
that it's going to give them protection and some sort
of peace. And it is so sad because of course,
the only peace we have is in Christ, not in
(04:16):
anything temporal or worldly.
S1 (04:18):
Amen. What about Taylor Swift?
S3 (04:22):
Oh, Kurt, I'm known for, uh, coming up against the Swifties.
I have to say, that's been a big thing for me.
And it's not that I'm coming up against the people,
but let's talk about what she's promoting. She's. So we
pray for Taylor Swift, right? We need to pray for her,
for her salvation. But she is absolutely, blatantly, uh, promoting
(04:44):
the New Age and witchcraft in her lyrics and her songs,
in her concerts and the rituals on top of a complete,
of course, anti-Christ agenda. Uh, so she's not hiding, I
have to say, she's really not. She had done that, uh, video,
I believe the song was They Need to Calm Down
and that was referring to Christians. And there was a
(05:05):
lot of sexual immorality in this video. Somebody pretending to
be Jesus, somebody feeding him a communion. It was very,
very heartbreaking. And then you see the Satanic meshed in
with this sexual immorality. And she's talking about it. Karma,
the invisible string. These are New Age ideologies. That's what
(05:26):
they are. And then she gathered, she's. It's like a cult. Cult?
All these people that idolize them, Kurt and Kate, they
idolized them. They think this is the problem. And I'm
so glad we're having this conversation. People are shopping. I
know you mentioned Taylor Swift, but Gwyneth Paltrow with with Goop.com.
Her health and wellness. Health and wellness. Well, that sounds appealing, right?
(05:49):
I mean, I want to be healthy, right? You want
to be healthy, right? And the things that she sells
on there are so disgusting. So disgusting. New age demonic
products for alleged health and healing that even doctors say
do not use, do not. But she presents as this
nice actress, right that people love maybe see the movies.
(06:11):
And so my whole thing is pray for the people,
but know what these things are. Because maybe you just
innocently if you're a Christian even. Hey. Yeah, I want
to be healthy. Hey, this is, you know, a cool website.
Know what you're looking at? Know that these things open
demonic doors. Taylor Swift, that's a that's a full stop
(06:33):
for me. Please don't let your children listen to do
whatever you want to do. But I would just encourage you,
as somebody who came out of divination, who dealt with
the demonic for years and am now in walking in
truth in Christ, I warn people, stay away from Taylor Swift,
the young people listening to this, and you may be
a Christian and sending your kids to the concerts and stuff.
(06:54):
You do not want this woman influencing your children at all.
And it does hurt. And I think that's what people
need to remember. What we listen to, Into what we
watch goes into our mind. And that's where the battle starts.
The demonic battle. The spiritual warfare starts with the mind.
If the devil can get you to think either that
(07:14):
he's not real, um, that crystals all the way to
go for protection, that God's creation should be idolized and
worshiped instead of God himself. Now that goes into your
heart and that goes into your actions. And that's how
he wants to get people away from Jesus Christ the
only way, truth and life.
S1 (07:33):
I do notice the fact that you know the reaction.
You can be pretty much anything you want to be.
You can believe pretty much anything you want to believe.
But here's the old story. I mean, it's nothing new,
but it is applicable here as well in this conversation.
And that is you can be anything you want. But
(07:55):
if you're a Christian. Oh, yeah. Okay, we'll let you
do all of this other stuff. But if you're going
to stand for Jesus, you're going to stand for the Bible.
Then suddenly you're the fanatic. You're the crackpot. You're judgmental.
So they turn it around on you. So you look
like the bad guy in all of this. That too
(08:17):
is demonic.
S3 (08:20):
Absolutely. 100%. And something that we need not be afraid
of because that is to be expected. People hate the truth.
The Bible says that the the gospel is folly to
those who are perishing. Right? It's foolish to them. We
know that when you're deceived by the evil one, what
is good seems bad, and what is bad seems good.
(08:41):
These are blinded people, deceived people as once we were,
as once we were. But we need to stand firm
and continue to stand on the truth and expose the
fruitless deeds of darkness. This is a. This is a
battle for souls. My brother and sister. This is a
battle for souls. And the Lord saved us and sends
(09:01):
us out. And that's how I feel that he's using
my past in that darkness to educate people, to warn people.
And are you kidding me? With the comment sections and
some of these things, I get the wrath. I get the.
S1 (09:14):
Yeah, I've read some of those comments. You're right, you're right.
S3 (09:16):
Oh no. But but you know. So don't look so
for me, I don't look I have to keep going.
And the Lord is so kind to give us the church,
to give us brothers and sisters in Christ that encourage
us that that refresh our spirits, that we can come
to and talk to about these things. Because it really
isn't easy. It isn't easy to be out there visible,
(09:39):
sharing the truth that the world hates because the world
is run by the devil, and the devil hates God
and he hates man. So expect the hatred, but keep
going and walk in the victory. But we are already
walking in victory and we must continue to do that.
S4 (09:54):

S1 (10:06):
Let's look at Jesus. And he's saying, hey guys, you know,
if if the world hates you, remember it hated me first.
If we are friends with the world, then you know,
are we really following Jesus the way we should? Now, again,
you don't want to be offensive, just to be offensive.
You don't want to be the angry Christian. We're so afraid, though,
(10:28):
of being the angry Christian or being, uh, um, stereotyped
as that where we don't want to say anything at all.
So you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater,
but you don't want to be angry. You want to
have a heart of love for others. And we can.
We can tell, Jen that you have a heart for
these these folks because you're like, we want them to
(10:48):
come to Jesus. We need to be praying for them.
We we care about them. We need to be urgent
in our concern for them. But that doesn't mean that
we can't stand up and, uh, you know, warn people
about false teachers, whether it be in the church. And
then we have the other stuff that we're discussing here
(11:09):
today with the occult and promoting that we need to
be bold. We need to be courageous. We need to
be kind. But we just, you know, we cannot be
asleep at the wheel on this, especially moms and dads
with their kids. And at the risk of our kids saying,
you guys are so strict. Um, you know, at the
(11:32):
risk of them saying all of that, we have to
we have to take a stand because there's so much
at stake here, and we can become desensitized. And if
we don't feel any pushback again, we're not looking for
a fight. But if we don't feel any pushback, we
have to really ask ourselves this question am I really
(11:53):
following Jesus? Am I really standing up for his truth?
S3 (11:59):
Amen. Absolutely. And thank you for your words of encouragement,
by the way. I mean, there are people that have
said to me, why don't you just be quiet and
just point to the peaceful Jesus? You know, kind of
like this mushy, gushy Jesus and just. And be quiet
and and let people live and do. Well, that wouldn't
be showing any love of Christ. It's the love of
(12:21):
Christ that compels us. And you're right. You have to
have that right heart posture, that it's the love of Christ,
the love of the word, which is the truth that
compels us to share that with the world. We are
not supposed to keep the light hidden at all. We
are not told to do that. We are. We are
told to tell the truth, and that the Bible is
(12:42):
sufficient for us to teach and rebuke and use for correction. Right?
And we need to be exposing these things because people
don't know. How can I know something without you telling you?
It doesn't make sense. People don't know. So we do
need to be doing this. And especially in a world,
the world that we live in now, the culture with technology,
(13:05):
with social media. I mean, cinema is cinema, but, you know,
they're going on. Which I mean, I have some exciting
news about that, by the way, if you would want
to hear, I don't know. But, um.
S1 (13:16):
Oh, wait a minute. Stop right there. Full stop.
S2 (13:18):
Tell us.
S1 (13:19):
We want to know.
S3 (13:20):
Okay. For the last couple of years, I've been working
with a dear friend and brother in Christ, Billy Hallowell,
on a movie project.
S5 (13:28):
We know Billy story. He's a friend of ours. Yeah.
S3 (13:31):
Oh. That's great. Billy. Billy, uh, is a huge help, uh,
in my life. Uh, wonderful brother in Christ to all
of us, of course. But this is something that the
Lord prompted me, really, even before the last couple of years.
But two years ago, this whole idea, including scenes of
a movie. And I have no background in cinema, I
(13:53):
have no background, I have no certificates, I have no education.
And I know it's for the Lord. And it really
started before that to bring this out into that. Oh,
I hate to pardon the pun, medium of cinema. Here
we are in social media, but the enemy is cashing
(14:14):
in on movies like Taro, The Conjuring. Uh, you know,
things like this. So it's just another medium to get
the truth out there. And where are you even seeing this?
We're not. But finally, the Lord lined everything up, and
we were in the beginning stages of. We're planning on
shooting what's called a torch, which would be of short
(14:35):
film to bring to the Angel Guild and some other, uh, places.
And I'm super excited about this. I won't rest, and
it's funny, because Billy and I joke, he knows that
I can't rest until, uh, I go and do wherever
God calls me to go and do whatever God calls
me to do. So we actually just started raising a
(14:56):
little bit of money for it on givesendgo, uh, forward slash, uh,
out of the shadows. So if it's on anybody's heart
to donate even a dollar. That is so appreciated. And
if not, just please pray for us to get this
out there. This is a story that God wants to
use and that God is using and sharing. Because we
(15:18):
live in a world just, you know, to backtrack on
what we've been talking about. You give your kids $20, $50.
You send them into somewhere that you think is innocent, right?
CVS to pick up the prescription or whatever. You send
them into Barnes and Noble. Your children are being exposed
to the new age and to the demonic. TikTok, also
known as witchtok. I took a screenshot the other day.
(15:39):
I'm going to be making a video just warning Christian
parents about some things that your kids are looking at.
S5 (15:46):
Really?
S3 (15:47):
And yes, and I just received an email recently from
TikTok for the lives saying that they're offering this new
thing for live business where people and this is included
in a general email, can do psychic readings. So it's
to promote this curtain to promote it. It's heartbreaking. It's heartbreaking,
(16:08):
but it's everywhere.
S1 (16:09):
One thing, Jen, that I wanted to tackle here this
morning is this whole idea. It's so new agey of
the divine feminine. And I'm thinking of Katy Perry and
her trip to, quote unquote, space.
S6 (16:22):
What you're doing is you're fine. You're like, really finding
the love for yourself because you got to trust in
yourself on this journey, and then you're feeling the love
when you come down for sure and you're feeling that strength.
So I feel really connected to that strong divine feminine
right now.
S1 (16:38):
So the divine feminine, the whole idea of that. Again,
there's nothing new with this. Explain to us where she's
coming from, if she even knows where she's coming from.
S3 (16:51):
No, I don't think she actually does know where she's
coming from, but she's an excellent example of the deception
of making it seem. As a matter of fact, I
remember taking that clip as well and using it in
a video, and she's smiling and happy looking and everything
just seems, again, very loving, very light. Trust in yourself,
(17:11):
this type of thing. And, uh, so the the devil, uh,
masquerades as we know. As light, as an angel of light.
And making this seem very attractive and appealing as some
sort of power within, you know, you only need you. Uh,
she also went into manifesting. So a big mishmash of
New Age ideologies then, where you see this. Okay, divine
(17:35):
feminine god, that's goddess worship. So she's not coming at
it in this dark, Gothic or Wicca type of way
per se. Right. Like I said, she's coming at it
with this. Hey, look at me. I'm Katy Perry. I
have a my. I think her dad was a pastor.
This is very.
S5 (17:51):
Sad, by the way. Yeah.
S3 (17:53):
Um, hey, look at me, you know, and she's. And
she's a pretty girl and all this stuff. Whereas then
you have people again like Gaga, who wears the garb,
and she does all this stuff. And her song Bloody
Mary was about Mary Magdalene and divine femininity or the
divine feminine once again. This is trending. I hate to
(18:14):
use that word because, as you mentioned, this is old
as as ancient as you can go. Goddess worship truly
believing into goddesses aka demons, false gods. God does not
share his divinity with anybody, and he makes it clear
to us in Exodus 20 verse three to have no
(18:36):
gods before him. So turning to this feminine divinity is
believing that you have some sort of power, that you
have some sort of holiness, that you have some sort
of sacred nature that you do not have. Only Jesus, 100%
man and 100% God, not us. And turning to creation
(18:58):
and to demons, to place your trust in for peace
and to attain things. Kurt and Kate, you know, Katy
Perry went on, like I said, to manifest manifesting, saying
this little, as you mentioned, perfectly quote unquote space trip
she manifested. It was a vision she dreamed, you know,
follow your dreams. And that's how you make them happen.
(19:18):
But you have to believe into your plan and your
dream and visualize it, and then it will happen. And
that's turning so far away from God. That's the whole point.
That's how the enemy is using these same old tricks
to lure people away from Jesus. We need to turn
to Jesus and not put our faith and trust in demons.
(19:42):
That is idolatry. We cannot do that. Not put our
faith and trust in creation, and certainly not put our
faith and trust in ourselves.
S2 (19:52):
