Lila es graduada de la Universidad de Guadalajara, con una licenciatura en Derecho, Ríos es además una profesional en consultoría de negocios con un EPI (inglés) de Rutgers Business School. Con experiencia de más de 17 años laborando en la industria mayorista, Ríos tiene amplio conocimiento sobre desarrollo de proveedores, órdenes de compra y abastecimiento mayorista en países de bajo costo. Ríos ha participado como orador, panelista y como conferencista en asuntos empresariales y comunitarios mexicanos en Los Estados Unidos. Desde diciembre del 2020, Ríos es ahora miembro de la junta directiva de la cámara de comercio hispana de New Jersey. La primera Mexicana en ocupar este cargo.
