Cinthya había nacido con partera por lo que siempre tuvo curiosidad por ese proceso. Sin embargo cuando se embarazó dudó un poco de la decisión de tener un parto en casa pues su familia tenía miedo de que algo saliera mal.
Gracias a una amiga conoció a una partera que también tenía experiencia en el hospital por lo que le inspiró confianza y posteriormente a su familia también. Había un acuerdo con su familia de que tendría el trabajo de parto con la partera para después irse al hospital pero durante ese lapso ella decidió que no quería eso, así que se quedó en el consultorio de la partera. Fue un proceso muy rápido, Cinthya lo disfrutó mucho a pesar de laa fuertes contracciones. Su parto fue rápido, con el apoyo de su familia y de su amiga ha podido trascender los retos del postparto como las complicaciones con la lactancia.
