En las Escrituras encontramos diferentes palabras para describir el pecado. Esto nos da una idea de la gravedad y consecuencias que tienen para quienes quebrantan las leyes del SEÑOR. Pueden ir desde cometer un pecado en ignorancia, transgredir los mandamientos conscientemente, hasta llegar a la iniquidad colectiva de toda una sociedad en donde ni siquiera tratan de ocultar su pecado, sino por el contrario, lo promueven abiertamente.
