Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey there, badasses, guess what you have officially
from today, Friday October 11th,you have 81 days left until the
end of the year and hey, Idon't want that to scare you.
I just want you to realize, honestly, how much time you

(00:21):
still have left to freakingcrush the things that you said
you're going to do this year.
So I want to take just a fewminutes to give you some
thoughts about something thatyou can work on and ponder and
maybe journal a little bit aboutthis weekend.
It's something we just coveredin a mastermind group that I'm a
part of and I wanted to shareit with all of you because it

(00:42):
was so impactful to me.
I really am enjoying looking atthis list that I put together
and realizing one there's someurgency behind this, because
there is things that I do wantto finish by the end of the year
.
But two, how much time we stillhave left to really make a
massive difference in ourbusiness, in our health, with

(01:04):
our relationships, with ourfamily, with ourselves.
So I'm going to jump into fivethings I want you to think about
and journal about, and hey, ifyou don't have a pen and paper,
I'm going to put them in theshow notes.
You can easily go back to thisand you can check them out.
I'm actually going to make youa little PDF that you can print
out if you want to.

(01:24):
That will have all of thesequestions on it, just so that
you can post it somewhere.
It looks really cute and youcan remember that you are a lady
that is kicking ass and thatyou're going to finish this year
strong.
So, number one I want you towrite down a big, ambitious
dream that you have.
I want you to set a vision fora big goal and I don't want you

(01:48):
to go out of steps here.
I want this to be the firstthing that you write down.
It doesn't have to be completedby the end of the year, but
write a big, bold dream thatexcites you.
What is something that you'reworking so hard for?
And then ask yourself what do Iwant to set in motion to make
this big, ambitious dream becomea reality?

(02:11):
Okay, I'm going to share withyou what I wrote down on all the
way through this episode so Ican hopefully give you some
inspiration to think really big.
My big, ambitious dream is tohave a group coaching program
where I can work with incrediblewomen like yourselves and help

(02:31):
you be able to achieve these bigdreams.
We've got something cooking upthat's going to be really
awesome for 2025, but thatrequires a lot of work on the
front end before anybody evenknows what it is.
So I'm currently workingthrough getting a program
together for you.
I'm actually going to become ahigh performance coach with

(02:52):
Brendan Burchard's educationprogram and I'm super, super
excited to see where this takesme, because I think it's going
to be really great as a leaderin my business.
I think it's really going to begreat for a new business
opportunity that I have comingup that I can't wait to tell you
all about, but it's just notquite there yet, and I think
it's going to be really helpfuleven in coaching myself and even

(03:16):
working with my kids andvolunteer efforts that we do.
So super, super excited aboutthat.
So, group coaching program andthe other thing that I really,
really want to do in addition tomy big business thing that I
can't wait to announce is Ireally want to take the podcast
on the road.
I want to do more trade showsthat are service industry

(03:39):
specific, where I can set up alive podcasting booth and we can
get more women's stories on thepodcast.
I want more video, I want morelive interaction and I want to
meet the hearts and souls andhug y'all that are out there
kicking ass in this industry.
So if y'all know trade showsthat you think would be really

(04:01):
awesome for ladies kicking assto be at, I'd love to hear your
feedback because I'm superexcited for that.
I did hear at a recent eventthat I attended that one of the
speakers said to chase thebutterflies and that hit me me
so hard because I was like thebutterflies like butterflies in
your stomach are typically likeI just default to thinking, oh,

(04:24):
something's wrong.
But then I really thought aboutit and I was like, oh my gosh,
like it's not just alwayssomething wrong.
I think my mind just kind ofdefaults to that sometimes.
But butterflies are alsoexcitement.
Remember when you kissed yourcutie for the first time and you
were like got all thosebutterflies.
That's what I want.

(04:46):
That's what I want to be ableto feel and I know that taking
the podcast on the road andmeeting more of you in person
and really understanding andlearning your stories and what
the phrase ladies kicking assmeans to you, the more inspired
I'm going to be to get this booklaunched in 2025, which is
another one of my big, ambitiousdreams for 2025.

(05:08):
But I digress.
I'm giving out too much infoand I'm really holding myself
accountable by telling you allthis stuff, because I hope that
you will continue to hold meaccountable for getting it all
done.
The second thing that I want youto think about is what are you
going to finish?
Pick two things.
I know when we women look at ato-do list, we've got 15 fucking

(05:32):
things on there that we'regoing to get done by noon today.
Nothing for laughter.
I want you to pick two bigthings that you're working on,
two projects that you're goingto complete before the end of
2025.
These are ones that you havealready started.
I want you to be very specificcommit, write them down and, if
you need to work backwards, whendo you want to have them done

(05:54):
by?
If you want to have them doneby the end of October, how do
you need to show up every singleday to make sure that that is
done by the end of October?
Don't just say someday I'mgoing to get to this because,
like you've heard me say amillion times before, someday is
not a day on the calendar andjust write it down.
Make space for the things thatare important to you.

(06:15):
Pick two things that areimportant to you that you're
going to finish.
I'm going to finish the rebootof my Ladies Kick Nass website,
and my other goal is to get myfamily moved into a new, bigger
house by the end of this year.
Fingers crossed, right nowWe've got one in the works and

(06:36):
it's beautiful, and I just hopethat it works out.
So we haven't had great luckfor the last few months trying
to do this, but I am determinedto get my family moved before
the holiday.
So that is what I am going tofinish.
I have a family of seven, soy'all can imagine how much work
that takes to pick up sevenpeople.

(06:58):
I know it's going to take a lotof my time and I'm also
traveling a lot in October, andso I am going to stick with
those two goals.
The third thing I want to talkabout what are you going to
double down on?
What's currently working reallywell for you in your business,
your health journey, yourrelationships, your friendships
or practices that you're doingwith yourself?

(07:20):
This is your chance to doubledown on that.
We need to identify the areaswhere you're seeing success and
put more energy into them sothat you can finish the year
really strong.
I'm going to double down ongetting more involved with my
sales team at Priority Pumping.
With my sales team at PriorityPumping, I want to grow our

(07:41):
commercial side of our business, and that requires going out,
meeting a lot of people in a lotof face-to-face time, and so
we've actually joined a couplenew Chamber of Commerce so we
can go out to the events.
In that we're joining a coupleof other networking groups.
I'm actually rebooting theLadies Kick an Ass local
networking group so that I canmeet more women that are also in

(08:04):
the trades and super lookingforward to just reaching out to
people.
You know, sometimes you don'thave the bandwidth to go out to
all of these mixers or lunchesor breakfasts or whatever they
are.
I even spend 15 minutes a dayjust connecting with people
through LinkedIn or postingthings on Facebook groups where
I would love to meet other homeservice industry professionals.

(08:27):
So even doing stuff like thatfrom your computer or your phone
God knows we spend plenty ofenough time just aimlessly
scrolling through shit.
I'm talking to you because it'sAmazon Prime Day, so you're
probably spending more time onthere.
Let's double down and focus onmaking those relationships so
that we can increase business.

(08:49):
That's what I'm going to do.
My other thing I know this is aweird one, but this is one I'm
truly double downing on.
I'm saying no to anything thatisn't on this list, and if
you're watching this video, Ihave this written down on a
little card.
This is what I want you to do.

(09:10):
It doesn't you know?
You can do this.
You can print out the PDF.
I'm going to send it over toyou or put in the show notes.
I want you to really write itdown so that you can see I'm
saying no to anything thatdoesn't help me accomplish these
things.
I have a terrible time tellingpeople no.
I think everything is a greatopportunity.

(09:31):
I think that I'm going to haveFOMO if I don't participate.
I really want to make peoplehappy, too, and not tell people
no, but I have a jam-packed restof the year, and so I'm really
going to focus hard on makingsure that I don't instantly say
yes to anything that peoplepropose to me, that I'm going to

(09:53):
be very, very selective withwhat I do with my time for the
rest of the year, so I canaccomplish the things that I
want to do, because if you'relike me, you get easily
sidetracked.
If you got to do something andyou really don't want to do it,
then you'll find something elseto do.
Even if you start organizingthe pantry or pulling out all
the socks in your sock drawer, you'll find something to do, and

(10:15):
we don't want to do that.
We want to stay focused for therest of the year.
Okay, number four we're going tostart something new.
It's never too late to startsomething new and although I've
already laid all this stuff down, about what are you going to
finish?
What are you going to doubledown on?
Whether it's a new habit thatyou want to build inside of your

(10:36):
life.
Maybe you're going to the gymtwo days a week and you want to
go three days a week.
Maybe it's a side project thatyou want to be working on.
I'm really been working on likegetting all of my family's
documents together.
We learned this lifeorganization program through
Natalie Ellis, through my ultragroup, and I've really been

(10:59):
working hard on just getting allof our important information in
one spot.
So, god forbid if somethinghappens to me.
Who is the keeper of all ofthis stuff, which I'm sure a lot
of you women are, and if you'renot, your husband probably is,
and you need to know where thatshit is too.
So this is a really great onethat I'm continuously working

(11:21):
through.
It can be a little bitdifficult, especially if you're
working with a blended familylike us, and getting all of the
stuff together the birthcertificates, the social
security numbers, the insurancepolicies Do we have five, or
whatever they are?
College savings plans, do wehave 401ks?
Like, where's the lifeinsurance?

(11:41):
Like?
All of these things just needto be put together.
So I'm definitely working ondoing that.
And then my other thing is togo through the certified high
performance coaching course andget certified to be a coach, and
I'm really looking forward tothat program in November.

(12:03):
Last but not least and I thinkthis one is really important to
button all of this up with iswhat do you need help with?
So many of us, myself included, really suck major ass at asking
people to help us.
We feel like we can do itourselves, or we feel like we
should do it ourselves, or wefeel like we don't want to

(12:26):
bother somebody, or we feel likewe're a burden, or we feel like
we should just know how to doit, and all of that is bullshit.
Please figure out what you needhelp with, even if it's one
thing.
I'm going to allow you to slidewith one thing here Find out
what you need help with andreach out to somebody.

(12:47):
That is what this entirecommunity is for.
Utilize the Facebook group forthat.
You can DM me.
I would be more than happy tohook you up with somebody that
can build your website, somebodythat can do your social media,
somebody that can help you withyour accounting Love, christina,
she's bomb at that.
I can hook you up with somebodythat does video editing.

(13:08):
Oh, you need a photographer, you need a plumber, like I.
Can hook you up with whoeveryou need to.
I would love for you to reachout, and if you don't want to
reach out to me, reach out tosomebody in this community.
Reach out to someone in yourfamily, reach out to someone
that is in your friend group orsomebody at work.

(13:29):
I'm going to reach out to twofriends that I know that have
already been through the highperformance coaching course and
I want to get their feedback.
I want to know what to expect, and I'm also going to reach out
to someone that I met through myultra group with who I know can
help me get that websitecompleted by the end of the year
, and so I'm going to ask forhelp in putting it all together,
because I know it's going to bea big, daunting task,

(13:51):
especially with a house move, and so I really want to have it
done, and I need help in orderto do that.
Do I know how to do it?
Sure, should I do it?
No, because, one, I am helpingsomeone else build their
business, because that's whatthey do, and, number two, I'm

(14:12):
freeing up time for me to beable to spend time with my
family in the holidays and to beable to get moved into a new
house and finish all the otherstuff that I just told you.
That was on my list.
So maybe, if you need helpfiguring out what you need help
for yeah, that's a real thingMaybe go back through your list

(14:33):
that you've just jotted down ofyour ambitious dreams, what you
need to finish, what you need todouble down on what you want to
start and see if you need help.
Finish what you need to doubledown on what you want to start
and see if you need help withany of those things, and if you
don't, maybe you just need helpa couple days a week picking
your kids up from school.
Maybe you have littles at homeand you need help somebody

(14:55):
watching your kiddos for acouple of hours so you can focus
on some tests.
Maybe you just need to bounceideas off of somebody.
That's what this community isfor, so I hope that you will
utilize it and I hope that youwill go into the show notes.
Download the PDF I've createdfor you that has all the little
write-in spaces for this.

(15:15):
I've even made it into aneditable PDF Editable, editable.
We talk about this in my officeall the time, like how the hell
do you say that word Editable?
Yeah, we're going to say thatEditable PDF, so you can even
type it in there and make itlook really pretty if you want
to.
My wish for you, my sweetbadass, is that you finish 2024,

(15:39):
regardless of what's alreadyhappened, with a smile on your
face.
I want you to feel like you'veaccomplished something great.
I want you to feel like, evenif it was the shittiest year of
your life, that you got back up.
And if you need a littleinspiration on that, I highly

(16:00):
suggest that you listen toepisode 132 with Candice Jackson
Long.
It is a beautiful testament ofgetting back up.
I want you to finish the yearstrong, because I know that you
are strong, babe, and that youdeserve this, and that you
deserve to say 2024 was a badassyear.
