Today's sentencing of Bryan Kohberger was preceded by the victim's families giving impact statements. Their lives were celebrated in those statements, but there were a lot of tears and some verbal blows distributed to the Defendant. He would have faced the death penalty via firing squad, but he instead pled guilty and got a plea deal. 4 life sentences with no possibility for parole.
