Dr. Lee Hildebrand hosts Mamadee Konneh who was forced to flee his country with his parents in the 1990s due to a brutal civil war killing millions in Liberia. After years as a refugee in neighboring Guinea, Mamadee emigrated to the United States in 1998. His story is a powerful journey of hard work, mentoring relationships, taking advantage of opportunities, and eventually founding his own charity, the Mamadee Konneh Charity Foundation, focused on giving back to the communities that he came from in Africa.
