In our final Installment of the Book of Luke, Pastor James takes us on a deep dive into the minds of the skeptic disciples. Whom needed many confirmations about his resurrection, even though Jesus told them of it beforehand.

Our Sermon this week still takes place on Easter Sunday. Pastor Brad takes us on a walk down the road to Emmaus, where Jesus makes his first post resurrection appearance. Join us as we learn the details of why Jesus appeared to those on the road, and the matter in which he did so .

He Is Risen!!
In our Easter Sermon of the Luke Sermon series, Pastor James leads us as we take a deep look at Resurrection Sunday, and how the exciting news reached the Eleven.

In a brief rewind before Easter, Pastor Brad takes us through the events of Palm Sunday, the kickoff to Holy week.  Focusing on Jesus' method of entering Jerusalem, and the message that it sent.

Jesus' Final Day on earth is upon us. In this sermon Pastor James delves into the perspectives of those present during what is both the best day for the wicked, and the worst day for others.

Jesus' time to leave this Earth soon approaches. Pastor James guides us through Luke's telling of this time. beginning With Jesus's betrayal.

Jesus' Final Week of ministry is upon us. During his time in Jerusalem he has developed a routine of teaching in the mornings, and praying on the olive mount in the evenings. Pastor James takes us into his teachings during this trying time, most of with deal with the signs of trying times.

Jesus has entered Jerusalem. Following the events of Palm Sunday, Jesus decided to preach the Gospel within the temple courts. This was much to the dismay of the chief priests. Pastor Brad helps us dive deeper into the parables Jesus uses to navigate  the religious leader's questioning, and inform them of things to come. 

As we continue to follow Jesus on his journey to Jerusalem, we finally make it to Jericho, the last stop before the main objective. Soon after we learn of the tax collector Zacchaeus and Jesus's need of him. Pastor James takes us deeper into this encounter, and teaches about the parable Jesus mentions' thereafter. Trying to prepare his disciples for what's ahead.

Still on the path to Jerusalem, Jesus is approached by a young wealthy ruler, whom asks how to gain eternal life. Jesus uses the moment to teach, and shows the disciples and the crowds how hard it is for the rich to enter heaven. Pastor Brad leads us deeper into this passage, and also into Jesus' healing the blind beggar Bartimaeus.

In this sermon, Jesus is still nearing Jerusalem, and continuing his teaching via parables. Pastor Brad navigates us through the parables of the persistent widow and a tax collector, two unlikely examples that are used to convey how great God's love is. Afterward we see many children brought forth to Jesus, whom he embraces openly stating, "The kingdom of God belongs to ones such as these". 

This week we continue to follow Jesus as he nears Jerusalem. During this current passage, his focus is on preparing the crowds, and more importantly the 12 disciples, for his eventual death. He educates them about forgiveness, humility and gratefulness when he is approached by lepers.

Still returning to our Luke series, Pastor James returns us to the book of Luke, where the disciple is describing another of Jesus' parables. In this parable, a rich man is sent to hell, but Lazarus , a poor beggar covered in sores, is sent to heaven upon his death. Pastor explains that without context, this parable can be misleading,

In the first sermon of 2024 we finish up our Christmas flashback portion of the Luke series. Pastor Brad dives deep into the visit of the Three Magi or "Wisemen" from the east, and the details around King Herod finding out about Jesus. 

In our last installment of 2023, Pastor Brad leads us in returning to our Luke series. Taking a bit of a break from Jesus' journey toward Jerusalem, we flashback to him being presented at the temple by Joseph and Mary, and them learning of the the prophecy proclaimed for him there..

In our final installment of Advent 2023, Pastor Brad goes into further detail about the small intricacies of Jesus's birth. From the starting location of the Shepard's, all the way down to the 80 mile journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem.

This week, the LCLG Music and Children's ministries guide us through the Nativity  of Jesus with "Come to the Manger". Speakers and song are both used to convey the Joy that came to the world when the savior was born. 

In our second foray into Advent 2023, Pastor James leads us by transcribing the events of Gabriel coming to Mary and telling her of Jesus' coming. Her reaction was one to be expected for someone her age.
