(00:00):
Hey everyone.
(00:00):
Welcome back to another episodeof landing and perfect.
So I wanted to talk about.
A meditation that I did theother day.
I'm not someone who meditates ona regular basis.
Although I do find a lot ofbenefit from meditating.
So it is a goal of mine to startincorporating that more into my
daily life.
I made it a goal of mine in thenext 30 days.
(00:21):
So I started this about a weekago, the next 30 days, I want to
do a meditation a day, and thisis like a five minute
meditation, five to 15 minutes aday.
So I started listening to thisone by Gabby Bernstein, who I
really enjoy her guidedmeditations.
Her voice is soothing to me.
I love the music that shechooses and just the way she
guides the meditation.
So she has some free ones onYouTube, but then she also has a
(00:43):
membership where there's a lotof guided meditations in there.
If you'd be interested, butanyways, So this meditation that
I found on YouTube was GabbyBernstein meditation for a new
life.
During the meditation, she wasguiding me to reflect on what my
life feels like living in thelife that I'm meant to live in.
So this had sparked a thoughtfrom a time when I was 19.
(01:05):
And I went to see the psychic atmy aunt's house at the time, I
was very curious and into aninterested in psychics.
And my buy-in was a lot strongerthan my doubt at the time, which
I can't say.
The same in the years that hadfollowed, but anyhow, I had
recorded that session and Ilistened to it multiple times
and I thought about it so oftenjust looking forward to the
(01:27):
amazing things that this psychicpredicted for my future.
And from what I can remember, there were a few things that she
had said that stuck out to me.
So the first one was, she saidthat there was this man who
really loved me and cared aboutme and he had dark hair and I
went to high school with him.
She said that he was the manthat I would marry.
And I was like, who the heck isthis man?
(01:47):
Who could this be?
I couldn't figure.
Figure out who it was.
Well, five years later, Iconnected with someone that I
had dated very briefly in highschool and he had dark hair and
he definitely seemed to careabout me a lot.
Well, I married this man andwe've been together for almost
14 years now.
So the second thing that shesaid was.
I wasn't going to be a nurse.
(02:08):
I was like a nurse.
I worked in the medical field.
I worked up north.
Cause when I did this, uh,psychic session, I was in North
Carolina.
And she said I was up north.
Well, I have family in Ohio.
I'm, I've lived most of my lifein Ohio.
So I'm thinking, okay, that'swhere it is.
And she couldn't quite put herfinger on this, but she knew it
was something like a nurse.
Well, I wasn't nurse and now I'ma nurse practitioner.
(02:32):
So that to me is something likea nurse, but at the time, Nurse
practitioners weren't superpopular.
So the third thing was, she saidthat she saw a lot of money
around me and that I would oneday own a big house, 2,500
square feet.
And that it would, there wouldbe a pool that sat off to the
side in the backyard and itwould be a dream home to me, a
(02:53):
home that.
I never would have expected tolive in.
So a few years ago, my husbandand I bought a home.
That was the exact descriptiondown to the square footage.
And I was so in love with thishouse.
So some of the things that shesaid, didn't come true.
She had said that I would haveone child and it would be a
little girl.
(03:14):
Well, I have no little girls.
I have two amazing sons.
I was so convinced that my firstchild was going to be a little
girl that I almost immediatelywent out and bought all girl
clothes.
You can imagine my surprise whenthey told me I was having a boy,
I'm like, what?
I'm like you have got it wrongbecause this is definitely
supposed to be a girl.
So she also told me that I wouldhave my own business as a
(03:36):
kickboxing instructor.
I have zero interest in that, but I'm not going to say never
who knows?
Maybe one day I will.
But, uh, it's just not, itwasn't something that I was
interested in.
So when she said that I'm like,Hmm, okay.
Anyhow, a few years after thispsychic interest of mine, I
started questioning thecredibility of psychics.
(03:56):
I often wondered how.
They could see into the future.
And if there was any truth tothem, actually being able to do
that.
I mean, there's many things thatshe had said that obviously came
true.
So there must be some kind of.
Validity to those, right.
Well, to be honest, the onereason why I was still on the
(04:17):
fence about it and not thinkingthat.
It was completely a sham wasbecause of the exact house
description that she gave me orthe things that did come true
and how specific all the detailsthat she was giving me were and
how they came true.
Now, during this meditation withGabby Bernstein, I feel like I
gained some clarity and theanswer to this, because I mean,
(04:37):
during this time it just becameso obvious to me and it has to
do with the power of oursubconscious mind.
So I don't believe that psychicscan predict the future.
I believe that they can pick upon our energies and they have
very creative minds.
So I don't think that scenepsychics are a bad thing by any
means, but I do believe thatit's wise to be very cautious in
(04:58):
what you spend your timethinking about and believing.
From what the psychic has saidduring your session.
And that's because you are whatyou believe.
So it's my opinion, thatpsychics plant seeds in our
minds.
So for an example, When shesaid, I will have a 2,500 square
foot home with a pool on theside.
And the backyard marry the manof my dreams that I went to high
(05:20):
school with.
He had dark hair, all thosethings.
So I fully believed that thiswould come true when she's home.
She told me this.
So I, I believe that this seedthat she planted and the amount
of time that I spent envisioningmy life would become of this.
I fully believe that those wouldcome true.
So I believe that she plantedthe seed and I spent a
significant amount of timebelieving that these things
(05:43):
would come true.
And this was embedded then intomy subconscious mind because I
had the belief, I had the faiththat all those things would come
true.
It was what I desired.
It was what I believed wouldcome true from the moment that
she had said it.
And the thought was rooted intomy subconscious mind.
So I started.
Taking the steps in thatdirection.
(06:05):
And I think that's why some ofthese things had come true.
So as far as psychics predictinggender, like when she said that
about the girl, like, well, whydidn't that come true if you
believe it, if you want it, ifyou desire a little girl, then
why wouldn't that come true?
Well, I mean, you got a 50, 50shot of guessing, right?
Right.
Like the psychic.
And no matter how much I desiredor wanted a girl, I mean, I'm
(06:27):
just that science, like I'm notgoing to be able to like, make
that happen and as far as thekickboxing thing goes, I believe
that it never came true becauseit wasn't a true desire of mine.
It's not something that Iwanted.
I was just kind of like, okay,well, we'll see, like I wasn't
buying into that.
Like I was the other things, soit's not getting into my
subconscious mind and I'm nottaking steps in the direction to
(06:48):
make that happen.
So you can see how all of thismight.
Be something to be cautiousabout.
If a psychic predicts somethingbad that will happen in your
future.
If you're spending a lot of timethinking about that bad thing,
that's going to happen in yourfuture.
And you're believing that it'strue, then you're spending time
envisioning it and it's gettinginto your subconscious mind.
(07:10):
And then you're taking steps inthat direction to.
Maybe one day have that cometrue as well.
So that can be.
Uh, very.
Sketchy thing, like, just bevery cautious of what you do
believe when you're talking withthese psychics.
I'm not saying that psychics arebad by any means.
And if that's something that youenjoy and you like going to and
spending your time and moneydoing then by all means, I
(07:31):
believe that the one that I sawhelped me plant a seed that
helped me create a life that Ivery much love.
So.
Even though I don't believethat, that they can actually
predict the future.
I do believe that they can plantthe seed and you can start
taking steps in that direction.
If you have faith and youbelieve in what they say,
because like I said, I dobelieve that they have very
creative minds and they can pickup on people's energies.
(07:54):
And I'd.
I love to know what yourperspective is on this topic.
You're someone who likes to seepsychics, if you're someone
who's completely against them, then just share what your
thoughts are because I find thisfascinating.
I really liked to talk about itinside note.
Meditations are a powerful toolto gain clarity.
So if you have never tried it ormaybe you feel.
(08:16):
Or maybe you have, but you feltlike you kind of sucked at it or
you weren't very good at it.
Cause I hear that all the timetoo.
And I've even thought thatmyself, I just highly recommend
you try and again, guidedmeditations are a great place to
start.
Gabby Bernstein is one of myfavorites.
So just check her out onYouTube.
Um, but you can, and you canfind other like free ones.
It doesn't have to be GabbyBernstein or anything.
(08:38):
There's, there's a lot of themon YouTube to try.
The guided meditations they'remy favorite.
So I don't know.
Anyways, I just, it was a topicthat I found really interesting
and I don't know, the meditationwas really great.
And I was like, oh my gosh, likethat's what it was.
I believe that's why thesethings come true when psychics
tell you something, becauseyou've just, you're thinking
about it.
You have a desire for it, andthen it gets into your
(09:00):
subconscious mind and.
And then you take steps in thatdirection to make it happen.
So I don't know.
I love this topic.
