Speaker 1 (00:04):
This is Latina's State of Mind, a podcast created
by Latinas for all audiences, where we can share our
experiences about love, life andeverything in between.
Hello, hello.
And we're here with anotherepisode.

(00:26):
And what kind of season is this?
I feel it feels a littledifferent.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Don't you guys feel a little different?
It's Spooky Season.
This is like natural to me.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
It's just your season all year long.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Like, specifically, spring season, but then this
season comes through and I'mlike harder.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Given your history, I understand.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Anyways, please continue with your introduction.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Can you?

Speaker 4 (00:58):
see that again.
Who me, you no.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
If you heard, you heard.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
That's my one, so we're going to do a couple of
spooky things, and our first oneis about someone or something
that most of us have heard about, and they called her La Llorona
.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Ooh.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Me see ho.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Not La Llorona.
No Right when you see two elves.
You say yeah, your owner yourowner, just, you know, just to
help you out.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
And so this is the weeping woman.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yes, what do you guys know about La Llorona Scary?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Mm, hmm, gary, she drowned her children and now,
because of a man Of course, there's always a minimal and
there's tragedies.
And see.
Were you scared, grantedDrowning her children.

(02:09):
Okay, so she looks for otherchildren.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Yeah, that's kind of similar to what I what I've
heard, that she's crying becauseshe misses her kids.
But yeah, it was always scaryto think about and like if you
were walking in the dark atnight by yourself.
Oh yeah, and you're like oh,it's a year.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
It's a.
I think I heard about her whenI was little and I mainly heard
about her in Mexico, yeah, andlike it was mainly when we were
like around bodies of water.
Oh yeah, People would say liketienes que tener cuidado and you
have to be careful, because LaLlorona will take you, and I
would be like no, you're notgoing to take me.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
I was like no, I mean no, me voy a llevar.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
But for real ma'am here's your child, I can not
Nothing, you, I couldn't.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
I couldn't compete, but.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
I did find some information about her and, like
the different Lord Okay, aboutwhere she comes from.
So the first one in the mostpopular story is that she found
out her husband was having anaffair and in a jealousy rage
she drowned her kids and thenshe regretted and then killed

(03:33):
herself after she realized that.
But she couldn't make itthrough to the other side.
So she roams around takingother people's children.
Oh yeah, so that's a good,that's a, that's a main one,
it's understandable and theother one, I'm just kidding, wow
and the other one is that sheand as she was like oh, I'm
going to be like oh.
I'm gonna be like.

(03:55):
She was an indigenous woman inlike the conquista in Mexico and
she and a Spaniard were in lovewith each other and they were
having an affair.
But he was married and herefused to leave his wife.
So once he told her that shewas not going to leave his wife,
that's when she drowned thekids and then killed herself,

(04:19):
and there's apparently some kindof connection.
So they said that there's theearliest documentation of her is
back in 1515 in Mexico City.
Wow, and there's someconnection to her and La
Malinche.
But I couldn't find thatparticular connection.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Could you cover a little bit what the Malinche is
about?
I know she's considered she wasconsidered a traitor.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah, so La Malinche, or people know her as Doña
Maria, she was an indigenouswoman that Cortez took Took.
I'm going to say took.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
She was an enslaved.
She was a slave.
Yeah, she was.
So she was his slave.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Yeah she was taken and she basically learned how to
speak Spanish and spoke thenative language and she
apparently was one of thereasons why she's considered to
be one of the reasons why Mexicowas conquered and she's called
La Malinche as a traitor.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Mm, hmm.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
But we don't know that story to be true, right?
We only know what we know fromthe depiction of men.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah, no, but really.
But could there be acorrelation between her and La
Llorona?
Because I mean the second storythat you mentioned of kind of
be a fair the affair could be.
That could be the reason.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, and also, I guess at one point Hernán Cortez
took one of her children toSpain, so they say that she
would cry about her children.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
That makes that might be the reason why Like me see,
oh yeah, subrated or something,wow.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
And it's a story.
So it's a story that's not onlyheard in Mexico, but it's like,
known from like Central Americaand South America as well.
So, like La Llorona is such abig, what's the word I'm looking
for?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Like influence.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
No Mith.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah like a like a myth everywhere in South America
.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I didn't know that I was just Mexico.
Yeah, me too, so she wasMexican.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
She thought she belonged to us.
So there's different depictionsof her all over the world, I
guess oh is it something that oris she's like?

Speaker 4 (06:28):
are people familiar with her here in the US too?
Do you know?

Speaker 1 (06:31):
So they called women like La Llorona, women in white
and there is Laura about them inin the United States, mainly in
the South, where there's a lotof bodies of waters and it's
it's mainly women who havekilled their children over a
jealousy or age.
That's really spooky.

(06:51):
Yeah, so it's not just her, butI feel like it translates
everywhere, right?
So that, yeah, I think one of Idon't know.
I didn't know I, did you guyswatch the movie La Llorona, the

(07:13):
recent one?
Yes, I watched the recent one.
Yeah, I didn't think Iconnected with that movie.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
I just didn't feel it was spooky, but like it was
just a fun movie to watch.
Yeah, maybe.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
I shouldn't call it fun but I couldn't really do it.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
I don't feel like I connected with that because I
don't feel like I.
I don't think they got to theroots of the story well Like.
I don't think they ever.
They place the story of herwell enough to where I could
connect with it because I don'tknow.
I feel like that's such a bigmyth in Mexico, especially Like
you always get scared, likepeople are always telling you to

(07:52):
buy your own and there's allthese sightings and stuff, so
like I feel like there there wasno connection of that for me.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
Yeah, I don't really remember the movie anymore, so
that's how it was.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Nancy does not remember you.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
You were not memorable including movies and
or people.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Period, Period yeah you know what I just found?
There's this other version, notother version, but yeah, I
guess another story.
Some people say the story of LaLlorona.
She was a prostitute and everytime she would have a child she
would take it to the creek anddrown it.
Wow I know, I'd never heardthat one before.

(08:33):
Yeah, but yes, there are.
In searching here, there areVenezuelan stories as well.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Like different origin stories.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yeah, maybe there were many Lloronas.
There's one right here Call meLlorona.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah, no one really knows wherethe legend originated, but they
all seem to have a correlationbetween children and generally

(09:03):
killing their children.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
It's killing Rage.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Rage, body of water, like you were saying too, and
the body of water, yeah, and notbeing able to kind of kind of
living in the between, notreally dead but definitely not
alive.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
That's so interesting .
I know we have some listenersfrom other countries, so let us
know if you've heard of it, orlike what kind of stories you
have about Llorona, or like withthe different, like how
different the story of.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
La Llorona in your country is.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Yes, do you think La Llorona really takes children?
I know.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
If you did.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
I wish you guys would have seen her face.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
I don't think so.
I think I don't know.
I mean, it's just scary, andfor me it was mostly just like
the sound, because I mean I'venever heard it, but you can
imagine.
It.
Yeah, I'm getting chills rightnow.
Right, it's like so creepy, butI don't know.
I hope not.
I hope it's not real.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
I don't think it's real, but it's just a nice way
to scare children.
Nice way, it's a great way toscare children to stay away from
a body of water.
Okay, you know, like La Lloronais going to kill you If you see
a beautiful, tall woman withdark black hair, she's going to

(10:29):
take you to the creek and drownyou.
So stay away from the creek, please.
Thank you.
Would you tell that to yourchildren?
Because I would.
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
So, just work with me , never get close to it anymore.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah, exactly, I was like okay, mom, I think it's
true, I believe in all thatstuff, so maybe you never know
there's a lot of children thathave been missing.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
I mean, there is that unfortunately, yeah, but and
the thing is that it's a myth ora story that we've been hearing
forever, right?
So there must be something.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Truth to decades, centuries, and it might not be
somebody that died, but what ifit's a crazy person that's alive
?
It was a crazy person.
Well, that's taking thechildren, yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Oh you know, gosh darn it.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
I just took it to the whole Crime stories now.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
We're switching it up a little bit.
I'm just kidding.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
But there's so many stories that I feel like start
that way.
You know, like La Llorona's sopopular El Cucuy, el Coco, and
like all those stories are justlike such a big deal and such
ways to scare us, but I thinkthere's so much truth behind
them.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Yeah, yeah, I mean there has to be some truth to it
, for sure.
Yeah, because we wouldn't passalong all this information from
centuries just because we wouldnever, just because I mean, you
know what I was going to say, something very controversial
about the Bible, but I'm notgoing to.
Now you have to say, I'm goingto keep it to myself.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Oh, I want to hear it .

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Well, um, bible is a book of stories that were made
up by a group of individualsknown as I don't know how they

(12:30):
say it, or something.
I can't remember the actualterm for that.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
That has been passed.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Apostles.
Yeah, yeah yeah, apostles, abook made up stories by Apostles
about an individual who may ormay not have existed, and it's
been passed along for centuries.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
They make a lot of rules.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
They make a lot of rules based on that really old
book.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
But so if what we're saying carries that, you're
saying that there's some truthto that as well, sure, okay,
yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
There has to be yeah, of course.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
Something right.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Yeah, there has to be something about it, yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
We'll get into this topic discussion about the Bible
in our next, next, next, nextepisode.
Yeah, religion, yes.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
What are you going?

Speaker 2 (13:23):
to do?
I'm going to do the Pope'sbirthday.
I'm kidding, okay.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Let's go back to La Llorona, okay.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
So, yes, there's many stories about her.
I'm seeing here that part ofthe legend.
It also includes if you don'ttreat your family right, you
will also come on you.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
I know, I know, I'm going to double standard from
her.
Why?
Because she drowned her ownchildren.
But now she's mad at youbecause you're not treating your
family right.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
She wants you to learn from her.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Oh, from her mistakes and teach them a lesson, a very
spooky lesson.
That would be terrifying.
Yeah, imagine seeing her.
Hey, knock, knock, knock.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
You're not treating your children right, oh my God,
I'm going to take and kill them.
Oh wait, I thought she waspunishing the parents.
I don't know who she's actuallythe kids.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
I don't know who she's actually punishing.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
She's just punishing.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Exactly, but she will punish, so creepy.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
I like that about her .
She's her new favorite.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
You know what she might?

Speaker 1 (14:32):
be a little toxic.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
You're connecting with her.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
But like who isn't, you can relate.
She's a little toxicity.
I don't have any children and Idon't plan on killing them if I
do.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
I meant to the toxic.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Oh, I'm curious.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
No, oh my God.
No, I don't, I just it's, it'sthe tone right, she is.
She has proven to be an OKindividual.
Well, they're not live and notdead.
I just yeah, at least how sayit's a Serpentio.

(15:11):
She kind of took back what shedid In a way.
How do you say it?

Speaker 1 (15:21):
If you're listening to this podcast, please let me
know.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
How did we just screw a blank on this word?
It's not forgave, it's notRegret, repented, repent.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
No, I don't like that Regret.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Regret.
That's what comes to mind, yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
She yeah, repent, repent, repent, yeah Repent,
regret yeah Wow.
She regretted what she did.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Yes, at least she regretted what she did.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Yeah, and now she makes sure that you are a good
parent, or else she's going totake your children too, wow.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
That's, I actually just made that up so you can
yeah, oh, my gosh At least thelast part.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
I don't know if she actually takes your children, if
you are a bad parent, and killsthem.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
But I mean.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Yeah, all you need to know is that you have to be
careful by a body of water.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Yes, that's the moral of the story.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
And if you find your husband cheating on you or you
having an affair with anotherman, please kill him.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Kill the partner, not the children, then that's going
to turn into another type ofyou don't know, and this is not
advice.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Please do not take it as advice.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
These are not advice and this is not recommendation.
That's my disclosure about that.
Please talk to your therapist, not become the next one.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Your primary care provider.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Please visit your therapist.
Please do not take any advicefrom Diana.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Please do not.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Please do not.
I'm not even kidding.
Please do not.
Oh my gosh, that's terrible.
Have you guys ever heard it?
Because I keep thinking of thisvideo where, in Mexico, this
guy was running with a what's itcalled?
Oh my gosh, I don't have anyEnglish words today.

(17:26):
When I will see that A speaker.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
A speaker.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Thank you, with a speaker running around with a
really loud saying lie, no, no,no, no, me see oh my gosh.
And that's all I keepremembering.
But like, has anyone ever hadone of those experiences?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
No, no, I have never owned one.
I did see a video becauseGerman, I like to watch scary
videos, love it Of these kidsthat were just like I don't know
where it was, somewhere inSouth America, I think it was
like central America, and theywere just hanging out like
outside in the.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Oh wow, I don't have any English words Right.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
What's happening to me.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Sidewalk On the sidewalk.
We are here to help each other, thank you.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
They are just sitting on the sidewalk, like I think
it looks like they were ticktalking and all of like somebody
was recording them making funof them, how they were hanging
out.
But they were just tick talking, like one on each phone, just
like not really hanging out.
And then you just hear thisloud, I'm messy host.
And they just like all stopwhat they're doing.
And then the person with thephone like push the phone up to

(18:37):
try to like catch it.
And then you hear it again andthey all just scream and run
inside the house and I was like,oh my gosh, I would die.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Yeah, I would die Like.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
I don't know if it was the guy in the other corner
with the speaker your guy, don'tcarry him.
Everyone was tick talkingExactly.
It was the same guy, or it wasthe real Yorona, but that looks
so scary, that's funny.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Yeah, oh man.
But what if all of these quoteunquote apparitions are just
kind of blamed on this person orthis spirit?
What do you mean?
Yeah, because there's alwaysgoing to be like some sort of
apparition.
What if they're being blamed onthis woman and now it's even

(19:21):
cursing her even more, so itmakes it more?

Speaker 4 (19:25):
So you're saying maybe it's not her, yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
What if.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Because the sound that she makes like that it's so
specific that it has to be her.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
What if the minds of people created her?

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Oh, I mean.
Well, we're going back to thatquestion.
When is this?
Was this a myth, like acomplete myth, or did someone
actually relive this or livethis like centuries ago, like
what happened?
That is the question.
I don't know if you'relistening to this.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Communicate with me, please.
You can talk to Diana, she'sthe one that wants to hear from
you.
You can call what's her number, facebook.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
I would prefer a DM.
Oh, if you find my number, youcan text it.
That's totally cool.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Um emails are fine but that's a little outdated.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
I only I do not check emails in on the weekends, so
you don't know if you'relistening to this.
You may contact.
Business Contact you.
Yes, I will, from eight to five, actually 10 to five In a
business.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
She wants her story to be heard.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
She will follow the instructions.
If you want the real story, no,but I do want to know if anyone
has ever loved you.
I don't know, I don't know, Idon't know, I don't know, I
don't know, I don't know, Idon't know, I don't know, but I
do want to know if anyone hasever lived like the spooky Cause
.
I mean, there's a lot ofindividuals are out and about in

(20:57):
Mexico like late hours.
Did you ever live this?
I want the people, I'm askingthe people share with us.
That would be awesome, that'd bevery spooky, and I mean in a
way that would be the your ownreaching out to us.
So okay.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Oh yes.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Right.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Yes, you're right, there's something about bodies
of water that are really scaryfor me.
At night I'll tell you myspooky story.
That doesn't have too a lot todo with La Llorona, but with a
body of water.
I don't know if I said thisbefore, but I'm going to say it
again.
So when we were moving fromCalifornia to Colorado, I was
really tired.

(21:35):
I was, my brother was driving aU-Haul, my dad was driving our
little Ford Explorer and I wasdriving this little setting.
So I had three cars and we werejust kind of following each
other.
But I was so sleepy and Icalled my brother and I said
please let's pull over, becauseI'm so tired, like I'm just so,

(21:56):
so, so tired.
So he pulled over and it waslike a like just like this empty
parking place, but there waslike a river next to it and
right away it just felt reallycreepy to me.
So I just locked the car andlike went into the Explorer with
my dad and like snuck myself inthere and I was like he's look

(22:19):
at me and he's like what are youdoing?
I was like I'm not sleepingover there by myself, I'm scared
.
So I went in and was sleepingon the passenger seat I had two
dogs at the time and then I fellasleep and it seemed like it
was about an hour that I sleptand I felt my dog just like
really tense on my leg, like ifshe had seen something outside.

(22:40):
So I was like nala, stop, like, stop, bro.
Like I'm trying to sleep, I'mtrying to get as much rest as I
can, and so she wouldn't stop.
So I woke up and my brother waspulling my dad's car in the
U-hole and in that car I had putmy earrings and I at that time
was obsessed with my earrings.

(23:00):
So I was like obsessed.
So then I look, I opened myeyes and looked through the
mirror on the side and I seewhat I thought was my brother,
with the door open to that carand covered in blankets.
That seemed really dark, and myfirst thought was like my
earrings, they're gonna mess upmy earrings.
So I saw three people no, twopeople, because it was my mom

(23:25):
and my brother in the other carand I was like what are they
doing, you know?
So I sit up and I chug my waterand I look at the time, but the
clock was like not on anymore inthe car and I was like, huh, I
wonder what happened, like maybethe battery died or something
for the clock in the car.
I didn't pay attention, Ididn't pay too much attention
and I tried to wake up my dad,but I was so worried about my

(23:48):
earrings that I get out of thecar to tell him to stop looking
in there and there's no oneoutside, like no one, and I
could hear the water in theriver and I was like okay,
they're messing with me.
Like they went and hid and I goto check the door to the car.
That door can open when the caris up on that thing.

(24:08):
Like that door couldn't open.
And I was like, but I saw thatdoor open and that's the only
reason why I got up.
So then I go and look in theU-hole in that the window and my
mom and my brother were outcold and I was freaked out
immediately, like I got in theexplorer and I woke up, my dad

(24:28):
and I was like please wake up,please wake up.
And I told him and he was likelet's go, let's go.
And so we got everybody up, allthe clocks, like my clock in
the Saturn.
It was not like I couldn't.
I couldn't see what time it was, like I had to check my phone.
We had only been there for likean hour.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
That's crazy, yeah, so creepy.
What happened to my phone.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
I don't know if my brother says that I was dreaming
, I could have been, but Iremember the dog like clearly.
I remember waking up drinkingwater to like get myself ready
to drive, and I remember beingimmediately pissed about my
earrings and there was nothing.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeah, Okay, but do we think maybe the river or a body
of water, a moving body ofwater, is carrying this energy?

Speaker 1 (25:21):
I don't know, because it was the, it was the place
and it was the what.
Like that particular place justlooked creepy like with the
water and the trees.
You could hear it.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
That adds to the suspense of it.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Where was that at?
Do you remember Grand Junctionarea?
Oh, because of the West Africa.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
That's so interesting because I was thinking maybe
like it was someone trying toget in the car or something, but
there's no way that that doorexactly, but it couldn't, it
couldn't be that.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
And that's like.
My first thought was like ohshoot, like there's actually
somebody out here.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
That's going to kill me for the car you know.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
And I tried to open that door and I couldn't open
that door, but I swore that doorwas open.
Wow, wow.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Yeah, I don't know, man, I think that's what's
helping the the, the river, Iguess the river, the creek or
whatever, the moving water, that's what's helping the move,
the, what's it called La Llorona, visit many, many countries,
just the bond or states Watermoving the energy the energy
that it carries.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
Yeah, that's an interesting thing.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
I like that.
It's spooky yeah.
I mean you know what's crazy?
I have an article up about LaLlorona and there's this story
from Colorado as well.
I know Don't mean to read it.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
This is a reader's story for an article.
La Llorona woke me up once whenI was camping at Indian Falls
Rapids on the Yampa River inColorado when I was 15.
I walked with her to a cabinand there was a man in the bed.
All I saw was his foot.
But when she yelled at me torun, I did.
If I didn't smash my toe on arock, I would have run off the

(27:06):
cliff to the into the IndianFalls Rapids.
I saw an article in thismonth's Mountain is it about her
?
And looked up on the internet.
My experience was 21 years ago.
Brian from Colorado this issaved did it say yeah, it almost
killed him.
Yeah, so is it a good and a badentity?

(27:26):
Then, like I'll push you justenough, how much power.
I have Interesting yeah, Ithought it was interesting that
this was also based in Coloradobut it kind of, yeah, yelled at
him to run and he saved.
Well, no, actually, now thatI'm reading this and actually

(27:47):
interpreting it, it was anaccident that he tripped and
that's why he didn't die or elseshe was trying to kill him.
She was trying to kill himbecause she told him to run and
then she would have fallen intothe water.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
Which would have?

Speaker 2 (28:01):
made her more powerful, more powerful.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
I Wanted to learn more about her now, but now I
don't want her to contact me.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
Please don't contact no, she's conducting Diana.
Yeah, diana, when she tells youwhen she tells her, you, her
true story.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
I Would really like to know.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Yeah, of course.
Well, you can write a bookabout it.
No, I won't do that.
She can do that herself.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
I know.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
No, I wouldn't do that.
I don't have time for her.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
A lot of ink behind that.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
You just got to treat them with respect, you know,
and that's what I'm doing.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
Yeah that was.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Just setting up my boundary.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
No, it would be an important day if she comes for
you and you gotta be nice to her.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
She's gotta be nice back.
Oh, we're reading this story.
How about this?
Man just almost died and I'mover here like yeah exactly.
I Would like to learn moreabout her.
I feel like I'm glad that sheRepented I don't know if that's
the correct way to say that, butI'm glad she did in a way.

(29:15):
If she's still killing, that isnot cool.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
Mm-hmm, that is not okay, please stop doing that.
What if she's misunderstood?
What if the person that killedthe kids was her husband and
they blamed it on her?
Killed her, and the reason whyshe's roaming around is because
she's trying to find her kids.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Oh, yeah yeah, I believe blamed for his doing.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
That's why she can't move on, because, because she
was blamed for something thatshe didn't exactly that's what
happened.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
I 100% believe it.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
How did we?

Speaker 1 (29:54):
even maybe.
What is she just put that in mymind.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
You know what?

Speaker 1 (30:18):
that's her story that is totally gotta be Branding.
Yeah, we are.
I'm so sorry we were doubtingyou, but now we understand.
Now we understand it wasn'tyour fault, girl, mm-hmm, it was
his cheating oh oh my gosh, youknow what?

Speaker 2 (30:48):
I kind of believe that more I do too.
Women get blamed for everythingall the time.
What makes like?
What makes this thing?
That didn't happen in this?

Speaker 1 (30:58):
instance, what if like?
Think about this.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
You know no.
Thank you for reaching out.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yes, that those crazy people have been like.
Those crazy guys have beenkilling their wives and their
children Because they're tryingto like leave with their
mistresses.
We just had one in Colorado, not too long ago.
So what if that was her story?

Speaker 2 (31:17):
What if, especially back in the day when women had
even less rights, exactly?

Speaker 4 (31:24):
uh, we just solved it guys, I think we did, I think
we did great job.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Do you think that she's gonna stop?

Speaker 1 (31:30):
No.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
I hope she doesn't.
Well, I mean she's gotta belooking for her children.
Yeah, she's always gonna belooking for her children,
unfortunately.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
No, I'm sad for her.
I know.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Yeah, I, because she deserves the respect now.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Yeah she told us now.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
She told us just now it came to her, it came to Sanny
Ina theory.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
I like that story way matter me too, yeah, cuz I feel
like that's more true.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
It just feels right.
Yeah, like the way that yousaid, it just felt right.
Yeah, I agree, it's not your.
It wasn't your fault.
Girl, I'm a Maria, I think hername's yeah.
Maria, I feel listening to this.
First of all, thank you forsharing your Perspective truth,
your truth can.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
I write your book, a book about you.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Yes, nancy, you write a book, tell the true story of.
That's a title and none of yourlistening can take it.
Okay, we are in this dark.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
Room.
It came to Sanya, so that isproper Terry.
Information of Sonia.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
No, because I can write a book.
Oh, that's true.
Oh, let me know, see the mind.
Oh man after the discovery weshould change our subject Mm-hmm
, what do you think we should donext, nancy?

Speaker 4 (33:21):
I think it's time for some Diana Zilushi.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
She's so excited for her segment oh man, oh man, what
?

Speaker 1 (33:36):
are you mad about?

Speaker 2 (33:37):
What am I mad about?
Oh gosh, I totally forgot.
I was so hyped up about La.
Llorona.
I know it was good, but I don'tknow what I'm gonna talk about
right now.
What am I?
What pissed me off?

Speaker 1 (33:48):
Man blaming la Llorona for Men blaming women.
We need to bring Jesse into theMalinche discussion.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Just say you know okay, you know, just to cover
that she Was an enslaved woman.
Yeah, probably had no choice.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
But anyways.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Most likely, we are gonna talk about comments that
you shouldn't make or you know, things that you should keep to
yourself, comments that youshould keep to yourself.
I feel like we we've Kind ofcovered this, another Topics and
other episodes about body image, but it goes beyond just that,
mm-hmm.

(34:31):
It's beyond the body image.
It's about the mental state ofa person, about the month the
bodies, I guess, state the otherperson as well, um, and how.
You know what people need tolearn to mind their business.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
If you're not gonna say, and we're- gonna go back to
this.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
You know golden rule, I guess if you don't have
anything nice to say, don't sayit at all.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
Keep it to your motherfucking self.
Sorry, I didn't mean to be thatrough on that, but you know
what?

Speaker 4 (35:06):
I thought your parents were listening.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
My parents know who I am.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
No, she has to be the nicer in the Spanish ones.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
Oh, okay, I get you.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Yeah, that's true.
Okay, good Kind of.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Palabras Palabrotas, palabras alegres.
Oh, my dad said it.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
But not this one Okay .
Continue.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Continue, continue, raging I just.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
I just find it inappropriate when people make
comments that serve you nopurpose other than to just fuck
up your day, Like you should dothis, or why are you doing that?
I think a lot of us is like alot of that is being insensitive
.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
People don't think before they talk, exactly Before
they speak.
So just take a minute, take amoment Uh-huh.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Take a split second and think about the comment
before you say it Exactly.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
It's just you don't know how other people are
feeling, because I feel like somany times you're like oh well,
when my experience, I wentthrough this, I went through
that and it's like cool, that'swhat you went through, but that
doesn't mean that that's whatother people are going to go
through and that puts addedpressure to other people and

(36:19):
what their reality is.
Added expectations, Unrealisticexpectations.
Exactly, and then?

Speaker 2 (36:25):
something else that I wanted to cover relating to
this.
Oh my gosh, I totally forgot, because.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
I'm so enraged, diana , mad what.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
No, I just.
It's so embarrassing.
Yeah it's so inconsiderate ofother people's feelings and
bodies and everything andanything.
It's just so inconsiderate andI think especially children cool
whatever you got to teach them, but like as an adult.

(36:54):
As an adult, you sayinginsensitive things or things
that are not appropriate.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
I feel like a lot of the time is like when somebody's
going through a sickness or adisease or something really
heavy pregnancy, whatever it is.
I feel like a lot of people tryto share their experience, like
their bad experience, insteadof being positive about it or
like being like.

(37:22):
I know a lot of people thathave died of cancer and just
because somebody else has cancer, I'm not going to be like, oh
yeah, my so, and so died ofcancer.
Because, that is not what I needto hear if I'm fighting cancer
or so, and so lost their baby.
When you're pregnant, Likethat's not unnecessary.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Think about it.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
It's inappropriate.
Or oh, I'm going throughanxiety, or I'm going, oh,
somebody committed suicide.
Just think about what you'resaying to people.
Why make those comments?

Speaker 4 (37:57):
I think people are trying to relate to your story,
but that's just not the way todo it.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Right not in that kind of way.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
It's a very uneducated way to do that.
It's in a very uneducated wayto go about giving advice.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
I guess it's very unsensitive, very, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
I think people need to, in many other aspects as
well, mind their own business.
If it doesn't relate to you andyou're not going to say
something positive, then don'tsay it.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
Yeah, exactly, maybe if you're not asking for their
opinion Especially that Don'toffer just because, especially
if it's dumb.
Especially that.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Please limit yourself .
As an adult, you should be ableto limit yourself.
You should be able to limityour words, you should be able.
You can have as many thoughtsas you want, as long as those
thoughts don't leave your brain,we're good.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
Yeah, we're good.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
I think people need to be more considerate.
I mean mind their own businessand be more considerate in
whatever they're mentioning andwhatever they're saying, because
words hurt and they cause otherissues and they cause more
anxiety and I don't know.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
You can be supportive in so many ways.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
You can be supportive in cheering the fuck up.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Exactly Just show your support by being quiet, by
being quiet by just being there.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Yeah, that's.
You know.
Sometimes that's all peopleneed to do.
They don't need your solutions.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
Or show your support by being happy for people or you
know like wishing the best.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
Maybe people that make these comments are not
happy, so maybe just stay toyourself.
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (39:45):
If you're not happy, then that's not my problem.
Yeah, but don't say anythingLike just yeah, just don't say
anything.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
Don't say anything, yeah, so everyone just be quiet
Sad for you, but yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
All the rage right now.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
Last comment about that.
Oh man, I was going to saysomething super mean.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
I love how she's filtering herself.
I really like it.
Who?

Speaker 2 (40:09):
are you so if I can do it people, other people can't
.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
Okay, okay, being calm, being calm down over her.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
I see you.

Speaker 4 (40:19):
I see you?

Speaker 2 (40:20):
No, but you just just be considerate.
Just try to be considerate.

Speaker 4 (40:23):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
And if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say
it.
If a person can't change theirappearance in a couple of
seconds, don't say it.
You know, if a person is goingthrough an illness or maybe not
an illness, but like pregnancyor something, and you have some
terrible advice, don't say it ora terrible experience, don't
share it.
Don't share it.

(40:44):
If you um what else?
If you're not being asked forthe advice, don't share it yeah,
I agree.
Yeah, I like it.
Closing thoughts fuck up, Ilike it.
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (40:59):

Okay, why, I'm so sorry.
I apologize.

Speaker 4 (41:46):

Speaker 2 (42:09):
I'm excited Once again.
Formal apologies to La Llorona.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Yes, yes and girl, keep doing your work.
I mean, if you've got to scareup some men, do it.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
Yes, okay, I do think she needs to change her ammo.
You know, I think she needs tospook men, men Change it up.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
Yeah, change it up, girl.

Speaker 4 (42:28):
I think you know now that I'm thinking about it.
It's a whole new story, right,right, I think it's us scaring
children on her behalf.
Yes, she's actually not tryingto do that.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
She's probably just looking for her own children.

Speaker 4 (42:41):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
Yeah, it's our own fault.
We did this.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
