Speaker 2 (02:17):
It's weird, right To say.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, I'm still not used to it.
I feel like I'm still in 2020,.
I think.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Sometimes, okay, that kind of makes sense.
Four years ago I got stuckbefore COVID.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Yeah, pre-covid, pre-covid.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
That was a.
Thing.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Just we didn't have a good year.
We did not or a few.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
We totally did not Few good years.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Well, yeah, the panini was something different,
yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
The panini.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah, the pandemic, the panini.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
You never heard about it you never, heard this one.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
You're my little man.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
You guys don't know anything about culture.
I'm over here telling you aboutNanalan.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
They were too old.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, yeah, sorry, nanalan.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
I don't think that's it.
I just think you're uncultured.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Possibly yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
We don't know what's about your culture.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
We're a little separate from that.
Yeah, I guess.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Anyways, what are we going to talk about on our first
episode?
Back First episode.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
back are resolutions.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
New Year's resolutions Do you guys believe
in them.
Yeah, you make New Year'sresolutions.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I have started to.
That's nothing crazy, but yes,I do believe in it and I do make
resolutions.
Okay, yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
I usually did before and I stopped this year.
Actually, why?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Who traumatized you.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Who hurt you.
It was the New Year that makessense, the New Freakin'.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Year.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
No, I decided that every resolution I set for
myself is going to start on mybirthday.
Okay, so that's technically myNew Year.
I love that.
And I won't do it on January1st, but instead August Love
that?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Did everybody hear that August 6th?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Also, she likes gifts in forms of money.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Any type of currency.
I always said Thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Pistols, pistols, pistols.
Blue moves.
Tell us more.
I'm just kidding.
Love them too.
Anyways, yes, I don't.
I don't like New Year'sresolutions.
Have you ever made them?
Yeah, yeah, this year I decidedto.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
The reason why I don't like them now is because
I've made them before and Ithink they just pressure people.
I think we already have so muchpressure and so many things to
worry about.
And then we add more like oh,weight loss or all these other
things that we add to our lives.
With the resolutions, I feellike a lot of the times they can
turn into a negative thing.
At least in my experience, theywere more negative than a

(04:56):
positive.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Because you felt the pressure and you couldn't.
Do you think it was maybebecause you were setting too
many or they weren't being veryrealistic?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yes to both.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah, but it was also expected to make them
unrealistic, you know like wishfor the stars, sort of thing.
Yeah, I feel like that's thefeeling that I got whenever,
like resolutions were mentioned.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yeah, I think a lot of the times is like.
I think one of the mainresolutions as we were reading
today it's weight loss and likefitness and as somebody that
struggle with that, like Ialways was like I'm going to
lose 50 pounds by March.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
And I was like girl.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
That's not healthy.
That's not something you shoulddo.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
And then you couldn't like do something, you'd beat
yourself down Exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
And then you see all these commercials on TV about
how you can lose 20 pounds injust one month and you can join
this gym and you can, you know, and so then there's all these
pressures to do all these things, so I feel I always felt extra
pressured.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
It's been very commercialized, yeah, and in a
way that it's being it's takingadvantage of people.
I 100% agree.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Yes, one of the other ones that was hard and I think
I struggle with this one issaving money, because I feel
like a lot of people don't makea lot of money, right, and as
much as you're trying to save,if you're living paycheck to
paycheck, you can't save.
You know, like it's not, likeyou can be like oh yeah, I'm
living, here's my paycheck andI'm not going to pay this bill

(06:32):
to save $100.
So I can have.
You know, like that's sometimesit's so unrealistic I'm not
going to have electricity, but Ihave $100.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Fun Damn.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Now.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
I'm going to go have a collections and all these
things, I don't know.
I always felt this weirdpressure about saving and I was
always like, oh, I'm onlygetting paid this much and I
don't have enough.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
And there's always these calculations oh, 60% is
going to go towards this, 40% isgoing to go towards that, or
like maybe it was 20 and thenthe other 20 was going towards
savings.
A lot of people can't do thatand like people are pushing it
down and saying you have to dothis in order to live a
financial like a financiallysound life.

(07:16):
I'm not sure how to phrase that, but that's how it's being
pressured on as well.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Yeah, I think that should actually be a topic for a
future episode, like money andsavings and that kind of stuff.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Oh, I'd like to do that.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I love that.
Yeah, yeah, I hate the well, don't buy coffee or don't buy
you know like if those $5 we'regoing to change your life.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
I mean, I guess no, no, no, I guess they could Right
If you're directed towardssomething else that you want to
to an extent like yes, maybedon't spend like $50.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
It's on like in a week for coffee.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Right, like, don't be like.
Yeah, I was going to say five,five, 10, and she's like 45.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
We got to start somewhere.
I don't think you have todeprive yourself of anything.
I don't think you have to, butif you do have a goal of saving
money, then you can find wayshere and there, even though it's
freaking hard, as we know.
In realistic goals.
Realistic goals Like yeah, maybe if you're going to get
coffee every like, maybe two orthree days a week, maybe just

(08:23):
like usually I do it either onMonday or Friday, because it's
either like hard Monday orreward myself.
Yeah, like that Right.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Or just do it on Monday and Friday and not
Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
I mean, if you're doing that, then that's a great
start.
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
But no, I've learned that a lot of people are doing
less for their resolutions thisyear.
Because, a lot of people aretaking note of that.
Pressure like this not randombecause it's not random, it's
being, I guess, pressured bycapitalism.
I guess.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Your number one enemy .
We're getting there.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Anyways now, but like all of these things being
pressured for you to make achange, make a drastic change,
and people are starting to takea note of like, hey, that's not
possible and we're creating alot more issues, sometimes by
adding all of these things andthen not being able to work on
your issues at all or not beingable to work on your resolution

(09:21):
at all.
So I think it's good that us,as a society, we're starting to
notice that less is more.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Yeah, I think also the perspective from which we're
looking at it is like you'renot enough or you're not doing
enough or you're not savingenough or you're not losing
enough weight.
We kind of have to like, shiftit to, maybe like a growth
mindset instead of thinking oflike a deficit.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Oh, I love that, yeah , and celebrate what you have
accomplished.
Exactly so if you are able tosave $10 a week celebrate that.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Yeah, it's $10 a week .

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Oh yeah, that's $10.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
That you didn't have saved before.
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
But I did save.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Okay, do you want to share what they are with us?

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Yeah, they're simple, because in the past I used to
make a list, I used to make awhole list, and so this year I
was like two or three.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
How many did you have before how?

Speaker 2 (10:09):
many.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Yeah, great minds.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
I would have maybe five or a hundred.
No, I would say five to ten, okay, and then I would feel bad
if I didn't get to like acertain amount either.
Like I'm supposed to have thesemany resolutions, why don't I?

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Like you're not thinking big enough to like,
okay, you're not ambitiousenough.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Exactly, I was feeling like that and I was like
this year, I'm like, no, I'mgoing to keep it simple.
And so my resolution is toexercise more and to spend less.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Okay, those are great resolutions.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Yeah, that's it, I think, what helps whenever
you're creating like resolutionsor goals for yourself.
It's kind of have like littlesteps that you can start
following, so it's not just likean abstract idea.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Exactly.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
But steps that you can see and visualize and
actually do.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Yeah, and so actually I've started moving a lot more,
and I've started with doingyoga at least twice a week.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Oh, I love that, I know.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
And like, if I don't do it one day, I still do, I
still pressure myself.
I'm like oh my gosh, I didn'tdo it this week.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
I didn't know, I didn't do it this day.
What am?

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I going to do?
What am I going to feel?
And I'm like, okay, calm down, you have a couple more days.
I have a couple more days andmy goal right now is that yoga
at least twice a week.
We'll start increasing it afterthat.
But, right now, try not to likepressure yourself too much,
yeah, and then spending Well.
Still working on that one Well, but I started the process of

(11:40):
paying off one of my creditcards and I paid off a big chunk
of it.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Yay, I paid off like 80% off of it.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
It was yeah, it was bad and exhilarating and all
that fun stuff.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Can you use it again?
No, put it away, put it away.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
I'm going to freeze it.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
I'm going to freeze it, you're going to pull it like
a literal block of water.
What's that?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
movie where they do that, the Confessions of a
Shopaholic One of my favoritemovies, by the way.
Yeah, obviously, yeah, I'mgoing to.
I don't know if that's the planyet, but yes, I've started
doing that and hopefully thathelps me save more, because
eventually I'm not going to bespending as much on the payments
.
Yeah, so that's what I'mworking with right now.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
You know what you could do, what Tell me.
You could have somebody elsechoose your pin and you won't
know it.
So you won't be able to likebuy anything because you don't
know what it is until you guessit right.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
No, it's a credit card, though it's easy, all you
do is pass it yeah.
And I know my credit cardnumber two.
Jeez, I memorized my debit cardand my credit card, maybe.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
I don't really know my phone number.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Maybe have them give you a new card with a new number
.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
That you don't know.
That's a good point.
Actually, once I pay it off,I'm going to do that.
Do it right now.
Do it right now.
Too much pressure.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
We're talking about not pressuring yourself.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
I was like do it right now, do it Chase right now
.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Let's change it up.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
No, I still haven't memorized.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Yeah, I don't know that I like it, though I feel
like we you said really goodresolutions like your
expectations, like you alreadyhave so many pressures in your
life going on like every day, with like.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Whatever you have, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
So what you're adding to your resolution is something
that's gonna only help you.
Exercise of movement is so goodfor your body.
It helps with anxiety, helpswith so many things, and so
you're only adding to your life.
Saving is also or less spendingis also such a good thing for

(13:59):
you, like it's just gonna helpyou build credit.
It's gonna help you, like, havea little yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I'm sure you do.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
You've always been working on your credit.
You've always been so proud ofyour credit, but you know like
help you build a beat in a placewhere you can get your own
house, where you can Exactly, you know, do the things that you
need to do.
So I feel like those are veryrealistic and they're not Too
much.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
No, I don't think so, because I feel like I'm
starting small, in a small way.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
But there is not small, it's, it's huge, but I
like the way you said it.
I think you said moving yourbody more instead of.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
I really like that.
Yeah, cuz it's, I don't know.
I feel like now that I'mgetting older, I feel it more as
a younger one in the room.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
Young, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
This is 2024 I was born in 1994, I turn 30 this
year, I know that's so exciting.
I feel old party, oh party.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
I'm in for it.
I have to find a babysitter.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
No, but yes.
That's.
The goal is to move more, because I want to stretch my
body, I want to be able to, Idon't know.
I want to live a healthierlifestyle and I think with that
one thing by starting a littlebit more movement.
That's gonna help me out.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Yeah, I love that for you.
Thanks, I'll shade up.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Are you thinking of resolutions?

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Your new year, I feel like usually they're pretty
similar.
It's usually always related tolike health and weight.
Last year I was able to losesome weight, so I feel like,
just maybe trying to maintain ahealthy-ish lifestyle, I also
need to stop eating dairy, but Ican't.
I can't do it.
I don't know how to do it.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
I started implementing more lactate on my
life.
The little pills, bro, I havelactate.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
What happened?
It does not work.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Really Like one or two.
I take two, I take two.
I'm like fuck it.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
I take two Pop pop, mm-hmm.
Yeah, that's what I do it doesnot work for me.
Oh gosh, and I feel like I'mkilling myself slowly, like
internally.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Yes, I get you.
I'm also starting to feel moreback in the day when I was
younger.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
In my prime when I was 28 last fucking year.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
I didn't feel it as much.
I feel like I could be.
I could be more.
Uh, I can eat more junk foodand more dairy and stuff like
that and I would be like, ohyeah, I have an upset stomach.
It's gonna go away in a couplehours no not no more.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Yeah, not no more.
Yeah, that's, that's one.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
No I mean.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
I'm the same with the gluten.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Oh, that's true, never mind, sorry about that,
yeah, I feel like I'm gettingmore Sensitive Old.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
What is this?
It's not funny.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
I don't want to play this anymore.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
We were also talking about being taken by a black
hole.
Are you interested in that?

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Not right now.
I'll get back to you next weekthings might change.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
I mean, this is like a couple centuries, but what if
it happens?

Speaker 3 (17:32):
in our lifetime.
You know, you never know, younever know.
We already had a pandemic, so II already happens, yeah but,
anyways.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah, that's usually what I do.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
I was thinking I want to read more, and that's
usually also something that Itry to do, at least like one
book a month or something.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
But oh, that's a lot.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Yeah, I think somebody else already told me
about that?

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Oh, I'm not good at reading.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
It sounds sad.
Is this sad?
No it's, it's a great Okay,okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Um, I'm not great at reading, but I'm really good at
audiobooks.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
So I've been listening great.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah, I've been listening to some, and so little
spin, so good.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Yeah, I have a new.
A new bestie who recommendedthat book is actually in my
weight list and Mexican got, mexican got, okay, cool.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Okay, sorry.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
You guys everybody should read those too.
They're so good, I'm writing itdown.
Yeah, yeah, we should start abook club.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Let's do it.
No-transcript, you and I can doit.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
You guys can read it to me though.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
You can just listen to it.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Exactly, I'll just listen to you guys talk about it
.
I mean, like the, what's thecall?
The?

Speaker 1 (18:44):
audio books exist.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Give me the cliff notes of the audio book.
Do you like audio books?
I don't listen, but I should.
I don't have nothing to do withthis.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
You listen in general .

Speaker 2 (18:54):
It's just not one of your qualities.
It's not one of her strengths.
I have selective hearing.
That is my strength.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
I have a very selective hearing.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Like anything unimportant in one out the other
.
Anything that matters to me,I'll give you attention to it.
Yeah, got it.
So what were we talking about?

Speaker 1 (19:20):
Resolutions Nancy's going to read more.
Nancy's going to read more.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
That's awesome, but I think one is that a lot for you
?
Does it feel comfortable?
No, that's definitely doable.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Just right now because I'm working a lot.
I don't have a lot of time, butI feel like if I use the time
that I have to read instead ofbeing like on social media, that
would change my mind a littlebit.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
And that was another goal, wasn't it?

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Yeah, less social media.
Well, you guys know I've beenlike on hiatus here and there
from social media.
It's just a lot.
Sometimes it's too much.
But follow us on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
I'm on Facebook, you can TikTok.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Now I'm on Facebook.
You was a follow in the like,at least I'm the one.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
I do have a goal to do that someday, not right now.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
You're not ready to let go of social media.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
I'm not ready to let go of Instagram.
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
You're being realistic about that.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Exactly, I'm listening, but, yes, that is
eventually.
I want to be more strict withthat and let go more social
media, but if you hit us upthrough Instagram, I will answer
you.
Yeah, she does.
I'll be an asshole about it,but no, she's not.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
If it's a mean comment back at Stana, so just a
yes you might like your fault.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
You started it.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
I'm a continual.
This is where I'm debating, getting on a tick tock.
I'm going to be arguing withpeople and then I'm going to be
like I'm going to exit out ofthe app and be like living my
best life, and then that personis just going to stay there.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
I don't know if I see a lot of people arguing.
A lot of people's comments ontick tock are hilarious.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Yeah, comments are really funny.
Most of the reason why peopleare on tick tock because of
their comments.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
So you might actually do great in that setting.
No that environment.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Thanks, though, thanks for thinking for me,
about me, for me, a little bitof both, a little bit of both,
anyways, yes, that's anotherpopular one, and then yeah, no,
I think the weight loss saving, saving money and less social
media time were the mainresolutions that people make at

(21:47):
the beginning of the year.
Yeah, Do you guys watch TV likelive TV and like live shows and
stuff like that?
Not anymore.
No, yeah, I don't watch itanymore, but like I remember
back in the day of this being ahuge conversation around the new
years, less TV, yeah, exactly, and then just overall yeah, I
don't really.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
We didn't have social media back then.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
No, but now I watch a lot of Netflix, blue, hbo show
time.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
She's like it's not live, but I'm still watching it.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
It's still a problem for me?
No, actually not anymore.
I work.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
You know what the problem is All of the
subscriptions that we have toyeah, yeah Instead of cable, and
then we have to all thesesubscriptions Mm, hmm, blah.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
We're just prepping you for your daily shit.
I love it.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Anyways.
But yes, I feel like we used toget a lot of these Mentioned
like oh, you should start this, this and that.
So I don't know if it's stillhappening on right now.
I really hope it isn't.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
But I doubt it.
Are there any like fun or crazyones that you've ever heard for
New Year's?
New Year's no.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
No One year.
I wanted to be more interested, and then?
I did become more interested.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
I was going to say and you made it, you did it, I
did Now we're here.
What was your plan for that?

Speaker 2 (23:18):
I just wanted to have more on my plate.
Okay, I feel like I was justworking and I was like, okay, I
need hobbies.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Okay, I need to start new things.
Yeah, people say hobbies aswell too.
Yeah, yeah for sure, I actually.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
well, good point.
I think you were bringing thatup, because I actually want to
do?
Was I looking at you?
I want to do less, because Ialways see new things.
That's interesting.
No, no.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
I'm down to interest.
You know what?
That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Because then people start getting like too nosy and
I'm like stay away.
I'm just kidding.
I want to do less hobbies, Notonly because I spend a lot of
money on it, but what are yourhobbies?
Crafting, Love crafting.
And then I see a new project.
I'm like buy everything for it.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
They know, that's hard.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Like what Like.
For example, I wanted to make alittle suncatcher.
Okay, I'm looking at all thebeads, all sizes of beads, all
the wire, the hoop, the hooks, like all the pendants.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
And then you bought them all, didn't you?
I didn't, I didn't.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
I had a Michaels list and I erased it.
My goal is to finish one of theother projects that I have Good
for you, and maybe later on wecan start this one once you've
done it that one was difficult.
That one has been reallydifficult Because it's so nice

(24:57):
buying these Look what I madefor you.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
Let me see.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
I have it right.
Here Is these two.
Oh, my God.
I made this myself Made my lasttummy More free, more free.
Yeah, that's my, that's anotherone actually, yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
I'm just gonna bring that up oh.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Jerome bought me a cutter, a cricket cutter, and
once I learned how, to use it.
It was like let me buy this, let me buy that, let me spend on
this let me spend on that.
I'm like, well, now, what am I?
going to do with all these cupsof it.
I made all this stuff.
What do I do with it?
Okay, but you're selling them.
Yeah, now I am, yeah, yeah, butI'm not going to buy it.

(25:42):
I'm not going to buy it.
I'm not going to buy it, I'mnot going to buy it, I am.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Sometimes I wish I was more artistic, but then I'm
like, no, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
You just have to start.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Oh, you know my other .
I forgot resolution this year.
I want to learn how to swim, because I don't know how to swim
.
Oh my gosh, that's a greatresolution cause when we went to
Miami and she was in the ocean.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
I was freaking out cause I who was?

Speaker 2 (26:05):
in the ocean you.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
How's that?
Come closer?
Please come closer.
This way, you don't know how toswim.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Didn't you feel like you wanted to explore?
Cause I've done that, I've beento the beach and I'm like, ooh,
let's explore, let's try.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Please don't.
If you don't know how to swim, don't try to explore in the
ocean.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Do you think I did this?
Yes, oh, okay, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
I'm sorry I caused stress to you.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
I'm just chilling out here.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
In the middle her chin down.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
I'm fine, I love that resolution for you.
I think this is a great one.
Yes.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
And now I'm thinking of everything I want to do this.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Let's do it.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
I want to learn how to play either violin or viola.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Wow, do you have any training in instruments?
None whatsoever.
Can that read?

Speaker 3 (26:54):
music.
That's why it's a newresolution you don't read music
either.
No, can I learn?

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Yes, Most definitely Fuck yeah exactly.
I've heard it's anotherlanguage, so I feel like you'd
be fine, like, basically anotherlanguage.
That's very bold, and to wantto learn to play an instrument
you've never even touched beforeAt your age.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
At your age I can feel fears coming down my eyes
from that stab wound that I justreceived on my back.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
No, I just did it to your face At your age.
She was looking at me straightin the eyes too.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
I'm kidding.
I love you.
I'm gonna have to get you.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Jerome, can I have the deep voice please?
I'm practicing.
You're eating.
That's how it sounds, dude.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Evil, exactly.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
I'm sorry, I love you .

Speaker 2 (28:04):
You're right, though You're right, that makes it more
impressive.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Yes, it's going to be great.
I was so excited you stood upfor me.
I'm sorry, I'm kidding.
Let's go buy a violin right now.
Jerome used to play Violin.
What?
Bring it out right now.
Violin or violin.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
And I'm sorry.
What's the?

Speaker 1 (28:25):
difference Violin or violin, violin, violin.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
And is it just like a size difference?
That was one it's called violaand the other one's violin.
I think so right.
I'm not for like, I don't knowfor sure, but I think that's the
difference, yeah.
Anyways impressive and I hopeit works out for you.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
It's going to work out for you.
Just a lot of practice.
I'm going to do great.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
Your old age.
She's going to go get atriangle.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
I know I'm the violin , but here's my triangle.
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
I'm so excited, I'm so excited for you, yes, you
have to come and bring us thefirst concert at the podcast.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
I love that.
I love that.
I love that, I love that, Ilove that, I love that I love
that.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
I love that Coming 2030.
2025.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
2026.
Stay tuned Until 2027.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
No ETA, yeah right, you know, we'll be determined.
Actually, tbd, tbd.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
I think, one of the things that I have learned by
not making a resolution.
I think that's the best thingabout it.
I think that's the best thingabout it.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
I think that's the best thing about it.
I think that's the best thingabout it.
Yeah, we're both invited towork on that, because, no, I'm
not Good to learn by not makinga resolution is to kind of if I
find something that I did reallygood or that I'm proud of
myself for doing during the year.
Try to keep it going for thefor the next year or like, just

(29:57):
make it a priority in my life tobe like part of who I am.
So like make it a habit, yeah,so movement Like I've noticed
that when I work out it helpswith my anxiety.
So, that's something that I'vebeen trying to take with me,
instead of making it a new yearresolution for me, because it
never worked in the past.
It's a new year resolution.

(30:18):
I'm always like this feels good, and remember the feeling you
get when you're done with it,and remember how you feel when
you're doing it often, then Ialways take it with me, and
that's like, though, the thing.
Since I don't want to put thatadded pressure, I try to find
things along the year that I canbring with me to the next.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
I like that, yeah, I like that a lot.
Be more mindful.
You know what I'm going to addthat as a resolution.
Be more mindful, yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
You can't take somebody else's resolution.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
You can't even say it with a straight face and I'm
writing it down.
Taken.
Now Be more mindful.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
Is there going to be the thing this, this season?

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Mindful instead of self-aware.
Yeah, I like it Mindful.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
That's a good one.
I hope that is the.
Uh, the.
That's who, that's who, what?
Who said you're welcome?
I don't know, anyways.
Anyways, yeah, I wrote downcause I do want to make it.
What I want to notice likesmall things that are making a

(31:29):
good difference in my life itdoesn't have to be a huge thing.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
There are those small things that you do that you
pick up to throughout the year.
They were like this feels good.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Yeah, I like that.
I keep it going.
Yeah, yeah, more drugs.
If I don't do any now, I feellike I should start.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Let's not Cause they've made you feel good
before, so you want to feel goodagain.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
I don't know about that.
I've never done drugs before, exactly For anybody listening.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
She has never, ever, ever ever ever, Jerome say it.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
No, I've never done that, so like I should start,
let's not.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Yeah, maybe the whole movement and yoga thing sounds
like a great start.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
And if I feel like the drugs and the mindfulness
don't go together.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
So maybe it's on different, yeah, different
direction.
Yeah, maybe not that one.
Let's not add that one then, yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Don't write it though .

Speaker 2 (32:22):
I did not.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
actually we're not going to make it official.
Okay, was there something youmissed about a recording?
Like, was there like a segmentyou missed?
Like, was there something youmissed about recording?

Speaker 3 (32:32):
The only thing I missed about recording was the
Margaritas that Jerome wouldmake us.
Other than that, no nothingelse there was a segment that
sometimes is kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Oh my gosh, yeah, I mean, what was it called?
You guys suck.
We super missed your segment.
So let's do some Diana's Dailyshit.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Welcome back, bitches .
Full force Control.
Wait, I'm just kidding.
I'm not going to say the B word, I'm going to say witches.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Oh, it's a little late, maybe for the next episode
.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
I was not going to say for the next year.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
No, I was giving her I was next year.
Sounds better actually.
Anyways, what are we going totalk about?

Speaker 1 (33:21):
this.
What are you mad about?
I'm not on the first year, I'mthe first few months of the year
.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
I have a couple things written down, but right
now we're going to cover GypsyRose who's more mad about it?
I don't, I'm kind of likeletting it be, but the only
thing that kind of worries meabout society is the, I guess,
lack of awareness of the actionsthat she could have taken, yeah

(33:48):
, prior to the murder.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
Okay, like what.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Um, like you can help with a provider.
He had many visits.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Well, can I get in on this?
I'm angry about this Go for itI'm going.
I feel okay.
So you and I, nancy, are allabout crime stories and like all
these things right.
So I've known about Gypsy Rosefor a while.
I kind of been.
I watched the show Followingthe story, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, so, like one of the thingsthat really has like me going

(34:21):
crazy is that we're giving herall this attention and and I
know this poor girl has gonethrough so much trauma that her
mom put her in terrible places, that her mom did awful things to
her and she at one point didnot see a way out like trauma

(34:41):
dustings your mind but why?
Why are we making her so famous?
And I feel like if you had aplan, like if you were able to
make a plan to kill your mom,you should have also been able
to make a plan to have this guycall the police and help you in
another way.

(35:03):
Like an escape plan Right Likewhy was murder the only choice?

Speaker 3 (35:08):
I think maybe in her mind there was no other choice.
I think it's really difficultto understand the kind of trauma
that you go through living in asituation like that.
So I think I can empathize.
I mean, I would never thinkabout killing anyone, but anyone
Anyway it's with anyone.
But I just don't see how I canjudge that part of the story

(35:35):
because I can't imagine howfucking horrible it was for her.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Yeah, my thing is that maybe she was so
traumatized and I mean maybe tothis day she probably still is
that she reached out to thisindividual who was not in his
right mind.
In the show and the one on Hulu, they portrayed him as like a
sweet, shy guy.
So apparently he was not verysweet, he was not very shy, he

(36:02):
had a criminal record already.
Oh yeah, he had some sort ofpast already there's just the
show portrayed him in adifferent way.
But so maybe she in a way feltcomfortable with this individual
because he was not in his rightmind and technically she wasn't
in her right mind and couldhave been, possibly from all the
drugs that she had to take andall the treatments that she had

(36:25):
To me.
Could there been another choice?
Yes, possibly, possibly.
But like you said, nancy, wedon't know her mindset, we don't
know how her mind was altered, because, of the trauma.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Because of the trauma , because of the medication,
right.
I think it was just veryunfortunate that she met someone
who was so damaged and willingto do something like that and
helped her carry on that planInstead of like, hey, I'm going
to go to the police.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Let me help you by going to the police, or let's
run away together, or the planyes.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
It was just like very misfortunate.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
Is that unfortunate?
Yeah, unfortunate, unfortunate.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
And I think, like the thing that makes me mad right
now about her is that we'regiving her so much like fame,
Like this.
This girl has gone through somuch in her life and like now
she has a TikTok and Instagramand people just like trying to
take pictures with her and likeshe's a celebrity.
But look, the thing is.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
I wouldn't give her a full salon celebrity status.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
No, and I think like good for her for making money
right now.
Honestly is not going to last.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
It's not so I feel like, for as long as she can, if
it helps For her well-being, Ifeel like that's the worst thing
that could be happening to herright now.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
She did say in an interview that she like goes to
therapy and everything.
So hopefully those things arehelping her.
But I just find it difficult, like how?
How is she going to make moneyright now?
Excuse me, so I mean, if shecan do that, then she's married,
she has a partner, can takeadvantage of you know, excuse me
making money.
I don't know, that's just mythought.
I feel bad for her.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
I feel bad for her.
I feel bad for her.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
Yeah.
Like, if you're like, it'sgoing to be like a rise and then
get to a peak and she's goingto fall down.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Yeah for sure, and society's going to do what they
do.
She's going to say somethingand then they're going to
torture her and they're going tocancel her and they're going to
give her more trauma and no,that is a sad part about, that's
the sad reality about our liferight now, our society as a
whole.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
That will.
You know, we have the power toput someone up and then bring
them right back down and destroythem.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Yeah, yeah, that's what social media does right now
.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
Yeah, so hopefully you know what's done is done.

Speaker 1 (38:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
That lady is dead.
Unfortunately I don't.
This is terrible, I don't feeltoo bad yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
She just needed a lot of help.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
Yeah, she needed a lot of help, but once done is
done and hopefully she just getsto live a normal ish life.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Hopefully she's healing.
That's who.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
And hopefully we stop being so obsessed with crime
stuff.

Speaker 3 (39:06):
Like I am, you know, like the thing is.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
I'm one of them, me too.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
I'm one of them.
I'm, I'm.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
I'm used to be different, though it used to be
like more people weren't asobsessed with it yeah, but it's
everywhere.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
And not only is it giving us more anxiety and
making us live like a differentlife, but I feel like the
victims have to relive this overand over again, and I think
about the sport girl's familyand, like her mother's family,
and what they have seen and whatthey have gone through, and
it's like here we are talkingabout it nonstop, all the time,

(39:42):
and you know so.
We need to get it together too.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Not me though.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
Everybody else but you.

Speaker 2 (39:48):
It's exactly right.
Anyways, we started, ragefilled and we kind of Melod out.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
Yeah, it was Nancy, you're welcome.

Speaker 2 (39:59):
Anyways.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
She wants nothing from Nancy.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Unless you're welcome .

Speaker 2 (40:08):
You got it.
You're welcome.
But no, I'm glad that we havethis conversation.
I'm glad that you got your rageout.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
Yes, thank you.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Um, we got to a point where, hopefully, she lives a
good life.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
Yes, yeah, yeah, stay set of trouble.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
Yeah, she'll need to stay out of the limelight after
all of this.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
If you were in that situation, would you be excited
to be out and about in societyand social media and stuff like
that?
I don't think.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
I'd be in that situation.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
No.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
I probably wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
I don't, I don't.
I personally don't know exactlyhow she's doing it, because I
feel like I would be she'salready been in that like light,
like ever since everything wentdown with her mom.
She's like got interviewed andGood point, good point.
We've always had some sort ofeye on her.

Speaker 3 (40:59):
Yeah, with the shows and everything, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
And the shows giving her money like?
I don't think so.
Oh so who's the money going to?
Producers directors.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
I don't actually Because it's her story.
They got it from the news.
They should just be like ohyeah, this is what we got from
them.

Speaker 1 (41:17):
Police reports, all that fun stuff, because that
would have been a good way tomake money.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
Yeah, I hope so.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Yeah, like I thought about it, I was like wait, did
she get any money from all theseshows and all these things that
I have no idea, yeah, butanyways.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
Anyway, I hope she lives a healthy life.
I say that with all sincerity.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
And empathy Sounded like it.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
In the most monotone voice ever.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
Do you guys have any closing thoughts on New Year's
resolutions?

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Minus, to be more mindful.
Yeah, that's what I plan to dothis year.
I love it, anyways.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
Minus to say you're welcome less.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
Not everyone appreciates my input all the
time.

Speaker 3 (42:18):
No, I'm just kidding, I think, just not being so hard
on ourselves and, like I said,if you make a goal or a
resolution, try to like createsmall steps that you know you
can achieve and be realisticabout the goals that you're
setting for yourself, becauseotherwise it's just more
negative than positive.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
Yeah, I say you don't need New Year's resolutions.
Let's say you set goals foryour life and life just makes
things happen or it doesn't, andthen you move on and sometimes
you just have to do a differentgoal or take a different route.
But just don't I like the ideaof the New Year's resolutions, I

(43:01):
don't like the pressure of them.
You know, just don't pressureyourself for resolutions, and do
your best and that's all youcan do.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
Do the best you can with what you got.
Yep, I got one son and loverfor her.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
That's her.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
Let's chat to Mariah Carey, all right?

Speaker 1 (43:26):
