Join host Pablo Muñoz for an extraordinary conversation with his featured guest — Evelia Villa.
Evelia is the daughter of an agricultural farm working family, so she learned early on about the effects of poverty and how education could change her life. She was a teacher, principal, and later CEO of a large urban charter school network, where she helped low-income inner-city students succeed. Evelia led one of the highest-performing public high schools in Oakland, California.
