Many Country music fans are familiar with the song “Murder on Music Row”. They either know the version with Alan Jackson and George Strait on the 1999 CMA Awards or their recorded version. Or maybe the version of Dierks Bentley and George Jones. The song was written by Larry Cordle and Larry Shell.
But did you know there was a real murder on Music Row?
It was March 9, 1989 right on 16th Avenue in the heart of Music Row.
