En mars 2024, c'était le tour de la célèbre microbrasserie À l'abri de la Tempête lançait un appel à l'aide sur les réseaux sociaux. À l'abri de la tempête, l'emblématique brasserie des Îles de la Madelaine, est l'une des pionnières de l'industrie, avec plus de 22 ans dans le fût.
Sur le paysage de la bière du Québec, la microbrasserie se retrouvait dans un wcoin à part, on pourrait dire insulaire. 65% du marché local la protégeait en partie des aléeas de la distribution, mais une confluence de pandémie et de problèmes de distribution menacent maintenant la survie de la microbrasserie.
