One of the best ways to test your English comprehension is to listen to a few jokes. Jokes hold meaning on two levels. They have literal meaning, which most can understand, and they have a secondary meaning which is what makes them funny. As an English learner, if you can understand why a joke is funny, it means your ability to understand English is very well developed.

In this English lesson I will tell you two longer jokes that were first told to me by my uncle when I was a kid. I've also included on dad joke as well.

I hope these jokes help you learn a bit more English, and maybe you can even try to tell one of these jokes to an English speaking friend. Have a great day!

Note: This is the audio portion of a Youtube English lesson which you can watch right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a154jxI_Gck or by searching Youtube for, "Bob the Canadian 2 Jokes"
