The short film “Mical” is based on an inspiring true story of tenacity. A seven-year-old boy struggles to make sense of words on the page. But when Mike is diagnosed with dyslexia and the teachers continue to fail him, his mother takes matters into her own hands to help her son fulfill his true potential. Mical premiered at the Manhattan Film Festival, LA Shorts Film Festival, and Maryland International Film Festival in 2020. In episode 5, I speak with Mike Jones the real like "Mical" and the movie's executive producer Mike's wife Tiffany!
