Meet Dr. Leyla Acaroglu, an award-winning designer, sustainability provocateur, social scientist and entrepreneur. Leyla's list of accolades is truly something to behold; She’s a mainstage TED speaker, LinkedIn Changemaker and was named a United Nations Champion of the Earth in 2016 for her work in advancing science and innovation for sustainability. On top of all of that, she's the founder of the CO Project Farm, and the "Unschool" of Design, which she founded in 2014. In her words, the school’s name comes from focusing on “undoing the damage that mainstream schools have done” and is all about redesigning the world so that it works better for all of us. The Unschool is now a global initiative with over 150 alumni from 32 countries and a Winner of a CORE77 Design Education Award.
In this episode, we hear about climate change as a design challenge, we learn concepts like lifecycle assessment and regenerative farming. And Leyla takes us on her journey of seeing the interconnectedness of all things, from a Coconut in Mexico to an Afid in Portugal.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
