Speaker 1 (00:01):
Aloha, god Pod, welcome back, so excited to dive
into the final part of this, what has become a series, the
final of the last three episodes.
This one's about soul-ledliving.
We've covered embodiment, we'vetalked about mindfulness and
now it's time to explore howliving a soul-led life

(00:23):
transforms our experience.
So let's get started.
So I'm going to recap realquick.
Last week we talked aboutembodiment.
Embodiment is about being fullypresent in our physical bodies.
It's the tangible, visible formof our ideas, qualities and
feelings, remembering that ourbodies aren't sinful or bad.

(00:43):
We've been indoctrinated, perhaps, to believe that they
are, but they're not and they'reactually expressions of our
divine essence.
By embracing embodiment, wehonor our physical experiences,
which includes acknowledging ouremotions, senses and physical
needs.
Our body is a tool forexperiencing life fully and
authentically which can't beseparated the body, mind, spirit

(01:07):
.
It's one thing.
The further into it I dive, themore I realize there really are
I know I said this last weeklike all different sides to the
same coin.
To recap our mindfulnessepisode real quick, it is
mindfulness is about beingintentionally aware and engaged
in the present moment.
It involves acceptance andnon-judgment of our thoughts and

(01:30):
feelings, fully feeling thosefeelings.
Practicing mindfulness allowsus to observe our thoughts
without being consumed by them.
Mindfulness helps us staypresent and connected to our
inner truth.
Some examples of mindfulnesspractices include mindful
breathing, mindful eating,mindful movement.
Did anybody try this?

(01:51):
I'm really curious.
Did anybody try any of thesethings?
I haven't heard from you yet.
Let me know.
I'm curious to see if you didand how that went for you.
Yeah, so going back to kind ofthe whole umbrella of it all is
the soul.
You know we've talked about thegold right In our portion of
gold, but there's this largersource of gold that has a

(02:13):
broader perspective of what'shappening around us, and so that
broader perspective knows whatwe truly desire, it understands
where we are in relationship towhat we desire and it knows how
to guide us there.
And that's why it gives usthese like internal nudges that
a lot of times they don't evenmake sense.
So we ignore them and werationalize them, we get them in

(02:34):
our mind and we like just, wetry to make sense of it, and
then we don't follow them.
But those nudges, it's thathigher perspective leading us to
where we want to be.
You know we've beenindoctrinated.
We go back into like our life'spurpose isn't preordained, it's
not a strict path.
We came knowing what we wantedto experience.

(02:56):
I don't know the depths of it.
I, you know, don't remember allof it.
I remember parts.
I don't remember all of what itwas like to be a non-physical,
but I, you know, do trulybelieve that we know what we
want to experience, maybe notspecifically like every single
thing, like I experiencedsickness because I got COVID,
but maybe I'm going to gothrough a big sickness so that I

(03:20):
can go within and learn how toslow down and calm my nervous
system and learn these thingsthat I'm talking about, and
learn how to slow down and calmmy nervous system and learn
these, these things that I'm,that I'm talking about now, and
like fully embody them andintegrate them into my own life.
So, you know, it's like our soulknows what we want to
experience, but we, we get, asthe human, get to create our
desires.
And that's one thing that ourmind is great at.

(03:41):
It's like helping us see thingsoh, I don't like that, oh I do
like that, oh I want more ofthat, less of that, and that
creates the desires.
So it's a co-creation of oursoul, our mind, the body, mind,
spirit.
It's all working together tocreate Melissa's life or your
life, whoever you are.
So that's kind of the gist ofit.

(04:02):
So when we trust this soul, thisbroader perspective, and we
understand that it sees thingsthat we don't and that we don't
have to look for a purpose thatwe're supposed to be living,
when we start tuning in andgetting to know ourselves better
through this body-mind-spiritapproach, then we choose.
We know what we want, we knowwhat we want to experience, we

(04:24):
know what we want to do.
We create desires and then wemove towards them or we continue
to want them and be separatefrom them and feel anguish over
it.
You know there's so many routesto go on that.
And then we co-create withspirit, with the source energy,

(04:45):
to manifest in physical formwhat it is.
That and that physical formcould be through our own
experience, through our ownemotions, right, but we manifest
into physical form what we wantto experience in a co-creation.
But I'm not going to get, I'mgoing way too deep into that.
That's for another day, friends, it's for another day.
But it's important to rememberthat we can't get it wrong and

(05:07):
we can't fuck it up, becauseit's ours, it's our own unique
path and we get to choose itperiod.
So when we trust that higherconsciousness, that broader
perspective and we lean intothat and surrender to that, it
leads us to the most beautifullife, like something beyond what
we could ever even imagineourselves.
And I really know, on myjourney, like I'm just at the

(05:30):
beginning of seeing my dreamsrealized, I still got ways to go
, I still got things toaccomplish.
You know, I really coming outof a valley several years,
valley that really culminated ina lot of struggle.
So, you know, coming out ofthat, I'm not fully out of it
yet, but I still I feel like Iam, I feel elated, I feel cared

(05:55):
for, I feel like I really cantrust and to surrender to this,
this bigger knowing.
And you know, sometimes we'reforced into that, I was forced
into that, but I appreciate itnonetheless.
But you know, just knowing thatwe can't get it wrong.
We can't get it wrong.
It's our own path and we get tochoose it.

(06:17):
There's so many paths to thesame destination, right, and the
destination isself-actualization.
Well, of course there'sdifferent paths because there's
different destinations, becausewe all have our own version of
what self-actualization is Again, I'm getting off course.
So, talking about being soulled when we follow the guidance
of our higher consciousness, itleads us to all of this beauty,

(06:37):
all these things that wecouldn't have even imagined.
Here's an example.
So last year I had been.
You know, all things weresaying don't move.
But I wasn't happy where I wasat.
My dog wasn't happy where I wasat.
I mean, I was fine, I'm goingto be happy wherever I'm at.
But there were.
I've been there for a littleover three years.
I'd spent all of COVID there.

(06:58):
I had been there in that houseso much that I was ready for a
change and I knew I needed tochange.
There were some things I wantedto do that I needed to have a
different living situation inorder for that to work and I
wanted my dog to have a betterplace to live towards the end of
his life.
I knew he was getting older.
I didn't realize that it wouldhappen, you know, a couple of
months after I moved in.
But there you go with thattrusting part.

(07:19):
But it was really important tome that I get us back into Haiku
, that I get us back into Haiku, that I get us back into the
jungle with a big property, sothat he could really enjoy the
end of his life as it wasgetting harder for him to go
everywhere with me and he wouldgo anyway but didn't really want
to but wanted to get out of theyard for whatever reason.
It was time for us to move.
But our rental market had morethan doubled since I moved into

(07:42):
my house and the house that Imoved into was already a great
deal.
When I moved in, you know, I hada fenced in yard.
It was a walk, you know, walking distance to Montefiore
and Paia and all the things thatI love, you know, to do in that
area of the island and close tofriends.
It was a great situation andeverything said why would you
leave this?
There's nothing wrong here, deal with the little things that

(08:04):
you don't like, it'll be okay.
But I knew, I just knew it's Ineed to move.
And I wasn't able to for a longtime because I was sick with the
long COVID and just even thethought of it, I just knew it
wasn't possible.
I didn't have it in me, youknow, I could barely brush my
teeth some days.
So I just kept saying like I'llknow, I'll know when it's time

(08:26):
and when it's time my place willshow up.
And I have that belief becausethat's always been the case for
me here on Maui.
I've always had really greatfortune with finding amazing
places that I can afford and youknow, I've just always had
really great housing luck onMaui, and so that's the belief.
There was nothing obstructingthat belief for me.
It was just like I know howthis works when it's time, the

(08:48):
right place is going to show upand I'll know it.
And I just left it at that.
So the months go on, you know, and I even have one of my dear
friends who you know we helphold each other accountable, and
she had asked me you know, areyou looking?
I know you need to move, areyou looking?

(09:09):
And I'm like, you know, I justknow, I just know that it's
going to show up and I'm goingto know what it is.
Well, january comes along andI'm like just one day I was like
, oh, I feel it, it's time, it'stime to move.
I know what I want to do nextand I'm going to have to move in
order to do that.
So it's time.
So later that day I was kind ofgetting over being sick, so I
didn't want to necessarily goanywhere other than my bed, but
also I felt pulled and I wantedto be there.
It was my friend's kid'sbirthday party.

(09:30):
So I went to the birthday partyand ran into some mutual
friends who I hadn't seen in youknow at least a year or two,
and we were just talking, talking and the conversation was
almost over and then they askedme.
They were like oh, are youstill in Paia?
And I'm like I am, but you know, I'd really like to move before
the summer it's going to bereally hot and I'm just ready to
move on.

(09:50):
I'm really I I'd like to move.
They're like oh well, we have aplace opening up on our
property and they're going to bedoing some renovations on it,
but, um, so it might be a monthor so before it's ready, but
it's a, it's a one bedroom, it'sthis, it's that.
And I just something inside ofme I didn't know I was living in
a two bedroom at the time.

(10:11):
I was like, yeah, that's myplace.
I knew I'd never seen thisplace.
I barely got any details.
They're like oh, it's older, you know it may not be for you,
but maybe it'd be cool to beneighbors.
But I just knew and I told him.
I was like that's my place, Ijust feel it that's my place,
hadn't even seen the place yet.
So I talked to the landlord.

(10:32):
They get me in touch with thelandlord.
Like a few days later I reachout and I'm like, ooh, I'd love
to check that out.
I'm the only person that's seenthis place.
Let's talk to the landlordabout the place.
And when I got in it was like,oh, it really needed some work.
They were going to do likereplace the top cabinets in the
kitchen and do a little here andthere, but not a lot.

(10:53):
And it was rustic and the placeI was currently living was not
rustic at all.
So I go out of the place.
But I still knew like I justhad this inner excitement when I
was there.
In my mind I'm like, oh God.
But inside I was like, oh, thisfeels so exciting, this place
feels good.
So I was like, yes, and she'slike but you don't even know

(11:14):
what it's got.
I'm like I don't care, yes, Iwant it, it's mine, I want it.
So we went through.
It took about a month and thenthey still had some work to do
on it and then the whole thingtook about two months before I
could move in, which was perfectBecause with the long COVID.
I needed that time to pack, toget everything.
It was impossible for me to doeverything I needed to do in one
month's time.
So it was perfect and it allfell into place perfectly, of

(11:38):
course.
But when I had looked at theplace and then I walked home, I
got home that night I opened myfront door at my previous house
in Paia and I kind of sunk alittle bit and I was like, oh,
this house is so nice.
Like why, why am I doing this?
This house is painted and thishouse is newer and the
appliances are newer.
Like what am I doing?
And then I just remembered Iwas like, no, it was such a

(12:00):
strong feeling, like you justknew this was such a strong
feeling.
Listen to it.
A strong feeling, like you justknew this was such a strong
feeling, listen to it, trust it.
So I did, and inside there wasa little turmoil for a couple of
weeks, where I was goingbetween my gut and my mind and
my gut, my mind and, and Ifinally was just like I've
already committed.
Like this is happening.
Just get on the train, melissa,it's leaving the station, get
on board, it's happening.

(12:20):
So I just stuck with it andeven though I got, I kept
getting afraid and wanted toback out, I just stuck with it
and I trusted and I went intothe process and I moved it.
When I walked into this place Ihad not seen it since they had
done any of the renovations.
And when I walked in I wasblown away.

(12:40):
Apparently, there was more wooddamage than they had expected
away.
Apparently, there was more wooddamage than they had expected.
So they renovated my entirekitchen brand new, everything
top to bottom.
My entire bathroom, which waslooking kind of scary beforehand
.
New cabinets.
It's beautiful.
The place is kind of like logcabin-y.
It's like this ugly brown.

(13:01):
But I was just like you know,it's okay, melissa, just trust,
just trust.
The landlord had come in andpainted the walls white in the
bathroom, in the living room, with this like dark edging.
It's my dream.
It's gorgeous.
I'm on a gulch, I hear theriver running down below, I'm
surrounded by jungle.
Every window I look out is somebeautiful plants and trees and

(13:23):
I even got a little bit of anocean view.
It's nuts how amazing thisplace is and $300 cheaper than
what I was paying before.
It's bigger.
Yes, it's a one bedroom, butthere's like a little bonus room
, which is what I'm in right nowrecording in.
It's much bigger than the otherplace.
Amazing yard.
Zappa, where he chose to layhis soul to rest, is gorgeous,

(13:47):
under two cedar trees and thissweet little patch of grass, and
he was happy here and it wasperfect.
But had I listened to my mind, had I listened to the logic and
the reason, instead of trustingmy soul to lead in the situation
, I would still be in PaellaWith all of the financial
difficulties I went through overthe last year.

(14:08):
I might not even have a home.
I could be houseless because Iwas late for months here.
My landlord was sounderstanding and trusting and
really worked with me becausesince the fires you know
everybody's struggling and shereally got that.
My other landlord would nothave been that understanding.
It all worked out, every singlebit of it, lined up exactly the

(14:30):
way it was meant to be, becausethere were all these things
that were going to happen, likethe fires, that I had no
awareness of, but my broaderperspective knew every bit of it
.
So you know and that can keepgoing on to like when Zappa
passed.
There's so many things, it wasso hard and it was so difficult,
but how that timing worked outand how, during that stressful

(14:52):
time, you know, I wasn'tspending hundreds of dollars a
month on his medicine and hisfood and everything.
I mean of course I would loveto have him here and I would be
houseless with him if that werethe choice.
That wasn't the choice, so Ican see how it all worked out in
my favor.
That's what it looks like.
It's what your logical mind isgoing to come up with.
When you feel something and youfeel excited about it in your
body and then you send it on upto the mind, you're really just

(15:14):
taking all the magic away fromyourself, from energy, from
spirit source, whatever.
You're just taking the magicaway because it's letting that
soul lead, that leads us intothese magical, beautiful spaces
that we wouldn't have eventhought existed.
Right, and that's why you knowwe have these emotions We've
talked about this our emotionsand feelings.

(15:35):
They're indicators of where weare in relation to our desires.
So, ignoring those feelings, not feeling our feelings when
we're angry or sad or whatever, and just forcing all those
things down, it just keeps us inour mind.
Sure, we can accomplish what wewant through force and hustle,
if that's how you want to spendyour life.
We can fit a circle into asquare hole, but guaranteed it's

(15:57):
.
You know you keep forcing hardenough.
Sure, it's going to get inthere, but it's going to cause
some damage along the way, it'snever going to fit quite right
and nothing's ever going to bequite whole, because it wasn't
meant to be that way.
So sure, we can force ourdesires.
We can say, oh, I really wantthat job and I'm going to do
whatever it takes.
Or I really want that businessand I'm going to do whatever it

(16:18):
takes to make it happen.
But if that desire came fromour mind and not from our soul,
then we're spending our wills.
We're like working so hard anddoing all these things and
really missing out on the truehuman experience.
This, my friends, is not ajudgment.
This is coming from the horse'smouth.

(16:40):
I have forced and forced andforced For four decades.
I forced my life.
I forced squares into circlesand circles into squares, and I
was good at it.
I got a lot of A it.
I got a lot of Aries, I got alot of determination in me.
I could force some stuff, butit never, ever, ever felt like
what I wanted.
And when we start realizing thatwhat we want is not necessarily

(17:01):
the thing or the person that wewant, but what we really want
is the outcome how we're goingto feel as a result of the
outcome, or how we think we'regoing to feel as a result of
that outcome then we can startletting go of our attachments to
the things that we think wewant and start listening to
ourselves and understanding whatwe really do want and our
emotions are a great indicatorof that.

(17:22):
It's a great way to keep us onour track right, and that's why
there's no judgment when we getoff track.
You can get off track, you knowwhatever, be depressed for a
while, and that feels likeyou're off track, and it does.
It feels out of alignment withthat flow state right, but
guaranteed there's something inthere for you, guaranteed
there's something you'relearning from that.

(17:43):
Guaranteed there's a timing tothat.
So you got to feel yourfeelings like.
Feel it just trust the emotions.
Trust the feelings.
You know I'm not saying be rashand do dumb things, no.
But when you really integratethis body, mind, spirit,
holistic approach, when youreally start living
authentically, start working onyour traumas, start being honest
with yourself radically, radically honest with yourself,

(18:07):
radically, radically acceptingof yourself, of all of it, all
the dark parts, all the uglyparts.
When we really really gethonest about what our feelings
are telling us and what we'retrying to make happen instead,
when we really integrate thisapproach, I promise you the
results are going to be betterthan what you're trying to force
.
Whatever you're avoiding feelsso ick.

(18:30):
But I promise you from tons andtons of experience and from
observed experience, I promiseyou that it's not as ick as you
think it is.
It's not as ick as you think.
It is those dark parts ofyourself that you're hiding from
that you're not feeling yourfeelings because you're afraid

(18:50):
of parts of yourself.
You're not being honest withyourself about a relationship
situation, a friendshipsituation, a job situation, your
relationship with yourself.
When you're not truly fullybeing honest with yourself and
really embodying this wisdom ofembodiment, of mindfulness, of
letting your soul lead your life, system of embodiment of

(19:12):
mindfulness, of letting yoursoul lead your life, it's just
keeping you from what you reallywant.
And if you don't believe me,just try it.
Just try it, there's nothing tolose right.
Just try it.
Start like really reallygetting honest with yourself
Really, really really divinginto these practices and I

(19:32):
promise you you're going to seeresults from them.
And once the veil is lifted, youcan't go back.
You're welcome, I'm sorry, andyou're welcome.
You can't go back.
Once you've gone there, youjust can't go back.
So our soul whispers like theBible.
You know, I don't, I don'tBible thump, I don't throw
scripture out.
I do like to reference thingsbecause there is wisdom in there

(19:54):
.
So I don't typically referenceit as scripture, but I'll like
use some quotes, right.
And that's like asking youshall receive.
You ask and you shall receive.
Like your soul is going to leadyou there if you listen Right.
But also like that still smallvoice.
That still small voice that'sour inner wisdom.
I mean, that's that higherconsciousness, part of us, the

(20:16):
broader perspective, that's thestill small voice that the Bible
tells us to listen to, right.
So it's your soul's whispers, right, trusting your intuition.
It's key.
It's key to making this part,to allowing this process to
become a working process in yourlife, following your inner
signals.
It leads to a life that's somuch more than what you're

(20:40):
trying to force.
That's so much better than whatyou're trying to force.
You know, sometimes I'll getthese little messages like oh,
bring your headphones with youand I'm like why I don't even
have headphones for anything?
But then something ends uphappening and I need my
headphones for something becauseI'm end up stuck somewhere or
whatever and want to use myheadphones.
Bring an extra cup to the beach.

(21:00):
Why there's only this many ofus?
I don't need it.
Nope, just bring an extra cupTrust.
You know it's just littlethings like that and how they
work out and the synchronicitiesand how everything lines up.
You know it doesn't have tomake sense.
Just start listening, startsmall, start listening to that
voice.
I'm going to give you an example.
That's not mine, actually, thisis a friend of mine.

(21:23):
For those of you who don't know, I live on Maui in Hawaii, and
last August we had multiplelarge fires, one of which burned
down the entire town of Lahaina.
My friend had a house inLahaina and luckily had a
motorcycle, and so when thefires were happening and
everybody was trapped, he wasable to like get out with his

(21:44):
motorcycle and save his tworoommates and take them over to
Kanapali, which is on like thenorth end of Front Street right,
and Front Street is whereeverything culminated.
Like the fire just came fromthe top and just forced
everybody in to Front Street.
Some people made it to thewater, some people didn't make

(22:04):
it out of the water.
You know we're not going to getinto all that, but it it was
bad, and being on Front Streetin the peak of this was the
worst possible place to be.
But somehow, through a miracle, another friend of ours had
gotten a message through thatshe was stuck by the banyan tree
on the far south end of FrontStreet.

(22:24):
So when he found out that shewas down there, he knew that he
had to go save her, otherwiseshe would not have made it out.
She didn't have a car, shewalked to work.
She wouldn't have made it out.
But this was literally duringthe peak.
Everything is exploding, carsare exploding, buildings are

(22:45):
falling, fire, debris everywhere.
And he does it anyway, goes onhis motorcycle, goes through
Front Street.
You can't see in front of you,it's black smoke everywhere,
tragedy people.
It's bad, it's really bad.
And so my friend did it anyway.
He drove on his motorcyclethrough and would have to put

(23:07):
his foot down in this one placeand steer over to this place
really quick, and he was incomplete flow state, that flow
state where the body, mind, spirit is just it's taken over
and you're just flowing.
You're just making all theright moves.
It feels like time slows down.
I've had this happen multipletimes that have gotten me out of
accidents vehicle accidents.

(23:27):
But it feels like time isslowing down and like you're in,
like the Matrix or somethingwhich you know the irony right.
But so he's bobbing and weavingand he gets through and gets to
the bank entry just in time tograb our other friend, get her
on the back of his motorcycle, keep going to another part of
town and got them to safety.

(23:48):
Keep going to another part oftown and got them to safety.
But that morning now let meexplain to you.
We're on Maui.
Slippers are a way of life.
If you don't know what slippersare, it's your flip-flops.
We live in them 95% of the time.
We live in our slippers.
We wear them everywhere.
I have fancy slippers that Ican wear if I want to dress up

(24:17):
my black fuzzy slippers or theones with the gemstones on them,
right, it's a way of life here.
But for some reason that morning, when Rob was getting ready to
leave, yes, on his motorcycle hewould wear his slippers.
This is Maui.
This is how, when he wasgetting ready to leave.
Something told him to wear hissneakers and he did.
Luckily, he listened to thatnudge and he wore his sneakers.
But there were so many momentsin that time on Front Street

(24:41):
that he had to depend on hisfeet to fully land on burning
asphalt that it's a miracle theshoes didn't melt off of his
feet.
If he had not had his sneakerson, if he had had his slippers
on, it would have been acompletely different outcome.
But that thing that seemed sosmall that morning, before

(25:02):
anybody knew the disaster thatwas coming of, just wearing his
sneakers instead, saved twolives.
So I just plus the lives of thepeople that they affect, right,
but literally their lives,that's, it's.
It could seem like such a smallthing, but when you start

(25:22):
listening to those nudges, youdon't have to know why.
The mind is the one that needsto know why, because it's
constantly comparing and tryingto keep us alive and trying to
keep us safe.
But when you start letting yoursoul lead and start listening
to those nudges and followingthe nudges, even when they don't
make sense, of course, don't go.

(25:45):
If your nudges tell you to go,jump off a cliff.
That's not the nudges.
Go to therapy and get some help.
Please Not in a sarcastic wayor judgmental way.
I love therapy, but that's notwhat I'm saying.
When you're in tune with yoursoul's nudges and you listen to
those nudges, it always leadsyou to something better.
Even if that something betteris just a quicker route to work,
even if that something bettergets you to all the green lights

(26:07):
on the way and makes yourmorning, even if that's
something better just maybe putyou in line with something that
you never know what happened, but it helps someone else.
You know our broaderperspective.
They're connected right, sowe're co-creating together,
whether we realize it or not.
But that's how important it isto listen to these nudges, and

(26:30):
we all have them.
This isn't something we have toearn.
It's always been there.
But the more we ignore it andwe're taught to ignore it, we're
conditioned to ignore it.
Unfortunately, those of us whowere raised in the 70s and 80s,
in the 90s, a lot of us noteveryone, but a lot of us were
bullied by adults.
A lot of us not everyone, but alot of us were bullied by

(26:52):
adults.
It still happens, like that's alot of the parenting style is
just bullying little kids.
So we learn to stop listeningto that voice and to ignore it.
And the more we ignore it itmakes it harder to hear, but it
never leaves us.
It's always there, patiently, just patiently, holding space
until we come back and startlistening.
And the more we follow thesesignals, the more we listen, the
clearer that they get over timeand eventually it just becomes

(27:14):
a way of being, a way of beingthat I cannot recommend enough,
a way of being that hasrevolutionized what life is for
me.
I spent a large majority of mylife with suicidal thoughts,

(27:41):
like a large majority of my lifefeeling victimized by life and
feeling like it's impossible andeverything is, feeling the
weight of the world and all thepain and all the things.
I spent so much of my lifesuicidal.
And then I wasn't for a fewyears and that was great.
And then it started coming backand I something kept holding on

(28:03):
, even when I was so close, likesomething kept holding on and I
know it's because I knew thatthis was possible, because now,
like less than a year ago, Iwanted to take my life.
Right now I can't imagine.
I feel like I'm walking onclouds.
I feel like, no matter what ishappening in my bank account or

(28:24):
whatever else, I am cared forand I can trust because I know
everything that's happening isleading me to exactly where my
soul wants to be, to exactlywhere my heart wants to be.
There's a trust.
It's a beauty of life, it's anenjoyment of life.
It's so fulfilling that I'mshowing up here now and talking
Like I got some pride y'all.

(28:45):
This is not easy for me to bethis vulnerable and to put
myself out here like this.
It's getting easier because I'mjust doing it and showing up
and doing it, but it's not ideal.
I never wanted to start tellingpeople that I'm psychic and
that I get intuitivetransmissions that can tell you,
like what you need to be doingor what your loved ones are
saying or what you know, like Inever wanted to say that.

(29:06):
I always kept to myself becauseI didn't want people thinking I
was crazy.
I, you know, really I still do,as much as I hate to admit I
care what people think about me.
To an extent that caring hasdefinitely decreased.
But I do, and about my image,we all do.
And you know I'm showing upanyway because my soul is

(29:28):
telling me to and I know thatwhether I like it or not in the
moment.
It's always going to lead me tothe better place.
So how do we tune into ourintuition, as we've already
mentioned?
Like I said, these things areall interconnected.
Practicing the mindfulness youknow, quieting the mind, not

(29:51):
depending on the mind for yourguidance, depending on your
internal guidance, your guidanceof your soul, instead of
depending on the guidance ofyour mind and letting your mind
be used to create dreams andproblem solve in the physical
realm.
Like let it, let your mind beused for what your mind is to be

(30:11):
used for and let your soul doyour leading, let your soul make
your soul choices.
Engage in activities that bringyou joy.
Y'all it's winding up, but the90 days of play has been huge.
It's been huge for me and incultivating these practices.
It's free, you can get it.

(30:33):
Find it on my website 90 Daysof Play.
Find it on social media.
It's all over the place.
It's so much fun.
It's really just aboutprioritizing joy Only.
Like I think a week and a halfleft or two weeks left,
something like that, it's beenamazing, but just engaging in

(30:53):
activities that bring you joy.
It doesn't have to be that Ifyou need some guidance, that's
there for you, but if youalready know it brings you joy,
then do it Like that's going toconnect you to your body.
It's going to connect you tothe inner child, the part of you
that remembers what you loveand what you really want.
Spending time in nature, likenot just being in nature on your
phone or being in naturewondering about where you're

(31:14):
going to go next, but reallyjust like communing and being in
nature and enjoying, likeabsorbing energy from the earth
and enjoying like giving backwith appreciation and splendor
and developing a relationshipwith the world around you
outside of just humans.
You know meditation, of course, any kind of mindfulness
practice like that.
Journaling.

(31:35):
I actually make a lot of reallycool journals.
You can in my Instagram.
There's a link in my bio thattakes you to all my journals and
stuff.
I'm trying to get them on mywebsite.
It's just taking me a minute,but I've made a lot of cool
journals for mindfulself-compassion, for, you know,
manifesting, for all kinds ofdifferent things.
So if you're looking for one,go support me.
They're actually reallyaffordable and they're awesome

(31:57):
because I put so much love intoeverything that I do.
Or go get another one, or goget a cheap notebook, I don't
care.
Keep it on your computerwhatever feels good to you, but
some kind of reflection to whereyou're not just going, going,
going, going and never reallylike learning from what's
happening on the day to day.

(32:17):
The more you start listening andfollowing these messages, the
more you can hear them.
That's the easiest way.
It's just listening andfollowing.
If something says go this routeinstead of that route, you
don't need to know why, just doit.
Just do it and see what happens.
Maybe it's nothing, but thatdoesn't mean you don't try it
again the next time, because itcould have saved you from

(32:37):
something that you don't evenknow.
It could have saved you from anaccident or from a ticket or
something that you don't evenknow.
Trust that your ancestors, thatyour guides, that God, that
whatever you believe in, is allconspiring in your favor.
Because they are.
Why on earth would they bedoing anything otherwise?

(32:58):
I guess not on earth, but whyin infinity would they even be
doing otherwise?
Your loved ones are on theother side, conspiring in your
favor.
Your ancestors are conspiringin your favor.
This earth is conspiring inyour favor.
Source energy is conspiring inyour favor.

(33:19):
Your angels or guides, orwhatever you want to call them,
everything is conspiring in yourfavor and when you really
really learn that it makes iteasier to trust.
And the only way to build trustis to build trust little by
little.
You just start building thetrust with yourself.
The more you're honest withyourself, the more you can say
what you feel, the more you canbe honest.

(33:39):
You know we all have badthoughts.
We all think selfish things, like whatever you think is so
bad about you.
Be honest with yourself aboutit, and when we can really start
like facing these parts ofourselves and being true to
ourselves and allowing ourauthentic self to just show up
without judgment or containmentand just being authentic to
ourselves, all of this stuffstarts happening naturally.

(34:02):
It's all a process that workstogether.
The more you start listeningand following the messages, the
more you can hear them.
It just eventually becomes anatural way of being To bring it
all together embodiment,mindfulness, soul-led living.
They're inseparable, they'reall parts of a whole.
Together they create a balancedand authentic life.

(34:26):
So I just I appreciate you beinghere.
There's there's so much to this.
As you can see, I kind of getoff on a little tangents,
because there's just so much tosay about this.
There's, there's just so muchhere and I guarantee oh, I am
not going to leave this outbecause this is so important you
are already doing this.
You are already letting yoursoul lead in ways that you don't

(34:50):
realize it has kept you alive.
I promise it.
There's already ways that youyou're doing it but you don't
notice because you don't haveany energy blocks or mental
blocks around that thing.
It was like me with the house.
It was so easy for me to be soled into that because I didn't
have any blocks on me gettinggood housing.
There was nothing blocking mefrom believing that that was
entirely possible for me, sothere was no resistance there,

(35:15):
and so I just want to give yousome credit.
Give yourself some credit.
You are letting your soul leadin areas that you don't even
realize, all the nudges andintuitions and inklings that you
follow without even thinkingtwice.
I mean, these days I can get uplike I don't know why.
I just get up and go to checkthe dryer, and the second I get

(35:35):
in front of the dryer, it buzzesand it's finished.
You know what I mean.
We're doing these things allthe time and we don't realize
that the more we get in linewith them, the more it happens
and the more we can be aware ofhow it's working in our favor
and use it to our own advantage.
But I just want to encourageyou in that you're already doing
this in ways.
You're already experiencing thepower of this in ways.

(35:55):
So you know, there's nothing tolose.
There's nothing to lose intrying it some more, right?
There's been so much coming tome on this.
I know that once I end thiscall, it's just going to keep
coming.
That's how it works.
So you know, follow me, I'vegot more to say.

(36:16):
If this feels something good, ifthis feels good to you, if you
hear this and there's some truthin this that you feel, you know
, leave what doesn't feel true.
But if there's, there arethings that I'm saying that are
lighting your soul up in a way, that are making you think, oh my
goodness, maybe there isanother way, maybe this internal
knowing I've always had thatthere's another way of doing
life, maybe that's true.

(36:38):
If that's what you're thinking,that's what you're feeling,
I've got something for you.
There's a reason why you'rehearing this.
There's a reason why you'relistening to me speak right now.
If you're hearing this andyou're like this is weird,
whatever, that's fine.
No worries, no offense.
There's people out there thatare going to speak in the way
that you're meant to hear it.
You're welcome here, of course, but you don't need to be here
and that's fine.

(36:58):
But if you're feeling alignedto this and this feels good and
you want to hear more of it,I've got more to say.
I've got more to offer.
I've been led to start offeringone-on-one sessions, which is
really cool.
I've got this really cooloffering that I'm going to be
doing locally for now, until Iget to the point where I can do
it remotely, but it's like a twoand a half hour immersive.

(37:21):
That is a body, mind, spiritimmersive.
It includes like body cellularrejuvenation.
It includes breath work andembodiment practices.
It includes like somemeditation and some intuitive
guidance.
If that feels like somethingthat lights you up, that's
available.
Reach out to me.
I'm at liveallowcom.
I'm at Authentically Melly, onInstagram.

(37:44):
I'm on YouTube at I think it'salso the handle Authentically
Melly, but it's Diary of anAuthentic Life.
I'm all over the place.
People come and find me.
I'd love to hear from you.
I'd love to work with you.
I've got so much to give and Iput my heart and soul into
everything that I do and if thatfeels like something, if living
a life where it feels likeyou're floating through life to

(38:10):
everything that you love anddesire and every person that's
aligned with you and leaves youfeeling better and not doubting
yourself, if you really feellike a desire and a pull towards
this authentic way of living,I'm here for you and I would
love to work with you.
So reach out.
I love you all.
Thank you so much for beinghere.

(38:31):
