Welcome to Legally *Unapologetic. In this series premiere, former big law associate, Octavia M. Green, or “OMG,” candidly and openly discusses her struggles with burn out and mental health, which ultimately led her to quit her job and reevaluate her purpose and passions in life.
Although a tough decision, OMG now knows that she has a bigger purpose in life and has decided to use her unpredictable pivot away from private practice to serve as an opportunity to be a voice. In this podcast series, OMG aims to shed light on issues that are unique to black women professionals, while also encouraging black women to embrace and celebrate their uniqueness and individuality, unapologetically. Most importantly, OMG challenges listeners to periodically check in with themselves—mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally—to ensure that they are unapologetically and truly living the lives they want.
OMG’s passion for wanting to uplift, encourage and inspire other black women—despite her exit from big law—serves as a catalyst for creating this podcast series.
