Had a great time interviewing Science Fiction Author Malorie Cooper. Mal is all about inclusivity and helping writers as well. So, listen is for some tips, some fun, and where you can get even more info and don't forget to look up those kicks heroines.
Malorie Cooper:
Hey there, I'm Malorie--though chances are that if you're here, you already know that
I'm a transgender woman and a New York Times Bestselling science fiction author. In addition, I write books to help other authors as well as speak with them at conferences about how to improve both their writing and their marketing.
As you can see, writing is in my blood. During my transition (which is still ongoing) I realized that there were so any things I had gained new perspective on. Some of them were new revelations about women, some about men, and a lot about all of us.
Not everyone has smooth transitions, and mine has had some bumps along the way, but overall it has been a hugely positive experience, and I want to share that with people, both trans and cis!
Plus I'll explain all the crazy terms and why we have them and why I look forward to a time when we don't need them. The book is called "How Wearing Leggings Changed My Life"
