SPEAKER_00 (00:03):
I am not a scientist
by any stretch of the
imagination.
Um, there are a lot of peoplemuch more qualified to talk
about quantum physics than I am.
But the books that I'm readingabout quantum physics are
helping me understand what I doso much better, so much clearer.
And I just wanted to talk withyou today a little bit about
(00:25):
that.
You know, everything in thisworld is made up of energy.
I remember my ninth gradescience teacher talking about
energy and how everything ismade up of energy, how the table
you're sitting at is movingatoms and the chair you're
sitting on, even though it mightfeel solid, is moving.
And it just didn't make anysense to me.
(00:48):
I understood it from ascientific perspective, but it
didn't track.
It didn't work for me.
But as you know, I've gonethrough life and learned the
different things that I'velearned and the emotion code and
how the emotion code works andGod and how God works and how
(01:08):
the matrix or the force, whatever you want to call it,
all works together.
Today we're going to be divinginto how your thoughts, your
beliefs, and your focusliterally shape your experience
of the world.
Welcome to the Lemon BalmCoaching Podcast.
(01:28):
I'm Melissa, your coach, cheerleader, and maybe even a
little bit like that mom whoalways has a warm hug and the
best advice waiting for you.
If you're a woman over 40,feeling like life's left you a
little lost, aimless, ordownright stuck, you're in the
right place.
This is where your joy, yourfreedom, and your purpose come
back into focus.
So grab a cup of something warm, settle in, and let's start
(01:52):
creating the next most beautifulchapter of your life together.
When we're talking aboutquantum, we're talking about
energy.
The whole world is made up ofenergy.
And I distinctly remember myninth grade science teacher
talking about how the table thatyou're sitting at is it feels
solid, it looks solid, it canbear your weight, but it is
(02:13):
moving energy.
The chair you're sitting onfeels solid, it supports you,
but it is moving, it isconstantly moving.
So this is a this is, you know, quite a while ago.
Um, but I remember that.
I remember him talking aboutthat, and it didn't make sense
to my little brain at the time.
The more I've learned, the moreI've read through my emotion
(02:34):
code certification, I've come tounderstand it a little bit
better.
But reading these quantumphysics books is making it even
more real in my mind and makingthis world just make so much
more sense.
So I want to nerd out for just asecond.
Like I said, I'm reading this,I'm currently reading a quantum
physics book here on my umKindle called The Quantum Life.
(02:59):
And in this book, he talks aboutthis famous physics experiment
called the double slitexperiment.
So, what these scientists did isthey took a wall and they put
these two slits in it and theyfired a single photon light at
the wall.
And behind that wall was aphotosensitive wall so that they
(03:23):
could see what the light didwhen it when they fired it at
this first wall.
Now, what they found is thatwhen no one was looking, when no
one was observing, the particlesacted like waves.
They did their own thing.
They went through both slits.
(03:44):
This is a single photon oflight, went through both slits
and showed up on thephotosensitive wall behind it in
all these different patterns.
But when someone was watching, the single photon of light went
through one or the other of theslits and only hit the wall
where the slit was.
(04:06):
They tried it with a camera, they put a video camera in the
room and turned it on and leftthe room.
Same thing.
It went through one slit.
When they turned the camera off,it did its own thing again.
To our little finite minds thathave been stuck in this um if I
(04:27):
do this, this will happen.
Do this so that will happen.
Thought process, it doesn't makeany sense.
But when no one was observing, when no one was paying
attention, the light waves didwhatever they wanted to do.
They just went, they just didtheir own thing.
But as soon as someone watched, the particles changed behavior.
(04:49):
They acted like solid matter, they collapsed into one defined
outcome.
So what does this mean?
It means that the act ofobserving, the act of focusing,
collapses all otherpossibilities.
This is science.
This isn't just woo-woo, right?
(05:12):
This is science.
The app the act of observingcollapsed every other
possibility.
Conscious focus determines howthe world responds.
Now, again, I'm not a quantumphysicist.
It's not like I sit in alaboratory all day and do these
experiments, but here's whatthis means means for us in real
life, in real life, in yourlife.
(05:35):
What you consistently focus on,what you expect to see is what
you will notice, attract, interpret, and ultimately live
out.
What you expect is what willhappen.
Back in the back when we weregrowing up, we called it the
(05:55):
self-fulfilling prophecy, right?
If you tell a child they'restupid long enough, they will be
stupid.
It's the same thing.
What you expect is what you willsee.
I say this all the time.
Your thoughts matter.
Your thoughts are energy.
The things you think matter.
(06:17):
Your thoughts become yourbeliefs, and your beliefs
ultimately become your identity.
So let's talk about the brain alittle bit.
Your brain is constantlybombarded by billions and
billions of bits of information.
(06:37):
Your brain is constantlybombarded by billions and
billions of bits of informationevery single second of every
single day.
Just look at the computer screenthat you're watching on.
Look at how many differentcolors there are.
(06:58):
This screen isn't solid.
This screen is made up ofpixels.
Like your brain is making senseof all of this information all
the time, but it can't receiveevery bit of information that is
around you, or you'd shortcircuit.
Your brain has to be able tofilter these things out and
(07:22):
focus on the things that areimportant to accomplish what
needs to be done.
And that filtering system isknown as priming, and it works
on what is called an activationinhibition model.
So when your brain is primed tosee something, it activates the
(07:44):
neural networks that supportthat thing.
If you close your eyes andactually listen for all of the
sounds that are going on aroundyou, you can hear a whole lot
more than if you're just sittinghere and listening to me.
Your brain is activating theneural networks that it needs to
activate to do what you'reasking it to do.
(08:07):
And when your brain is primed tosee something, those neural
networks will support whateverit is that you are priming it to
see.
And it also inhibits or shutsdown the ones that would
contradict it.
So if I'm trying to focus on allof the things that I can hear,
(08:28):
sight is going to be shut down, taste is going to be shut down,
smell is going to be shut down.
I'm only going to hear becausethat's what I'm telling my brain
I want it to do.
So what this means is that onceyou start to believe something,
like I'm not safe or nothingwill ever work out for me, you
(08:53):
will unconsciously filter yourexperiences to support that
belief.
And this is how we build wallsaround our reality.
This is how we build echochambers, brick by brick, based
on what we've been taught, whatwe've experienced, and the
meaning that we give to it.
(09:15):
We are meaning-making machines.
We take our experiences, weassign meaning to those
experiences, and then we buildour world view, our belief
system around that.
Over time, those meanings becomeour belief system.
(09:36):
And those belief systems becomethe lens through which we
interpret every single thingthat happens in the world, not
just the things that happenaround us, to us, everything
that happens in the world, wefilter it through our belief
system.
And if your lens is I'm alwaysthe one that has to hold
(09:57):
everything together, then evenwhen help shows up, your brain
might filter that out asunreliable or they don't mean
it, it's not true.
If your belief is I'm too brokento be whole, you will have a
hard time seeing the evidence ofyour healing because your brain
has already decided to not bewhole.
(10:20):
Oh my gosh.
One of the things that readingthe quantum physics books has
really helped me with is helpedme understand my faith better.
In Matthew chapter nine, afterJesus had entered the house, the
blind men came up to him and heasked the blind men, he said to
them, Do you believe that I amable to heal you?
(10:46):
And they said, Yes, Lord, yeah,we believe you're able to heal
us.
So he touched their eyes andsaid, According to your faith,
it will be done.
He didn't touch their eyes andsay, Bam, you're healed.
According to the measure of yourbelief, it will be done.
Jesus didn't ask them how longhave you been blind or what they
(11:08):
had done to deserve healing.
He asked them what theybelieved.
So your belief, what you believein, what the things that you
believe, the thoughts that youhave, these are active.
These are active in the quantumfield.
These are an active spiritualforce.
(11:30):
Saint John Chrysostom, he's fromthe first century.
First century said, if you areto change your way of life, you
need to change your way ofthinking first.
That was back in the firstcentury.
If you want to change your life, the first thing you have to do
is change your way of thinking.
(11:51):
And that's confirmed in Romans12, too.
Be transformed by the renewingof your mind.
We have to shift how we think ifwe want anything to be different
in our lives.
God wired our brains to bemalleable and changeable, but we
have to partner with thatprocess.
(12:12):
He is not just going to come inand force you to change.
We have to want to change.
So, how can you begin living inharmony with the quantum field,
in harmony with God, in harmonywith the chi or the prana?
Well, step one is examine thelens.
Like, what belief are youcarrying that is filtering your
(12:36):
life?
Is it a negative belief?
Is it one of those beliefs thatI talked about earlier?
Like it's always going to bethis way, nothing's ever going
to change.
Why do I always, why does thisalways happen?
How come I always fall intothese kinds of relationships?
What are you believing thatyou're carrying that is
filtering your life?
Step two, realigning with thetruth that God speaks over you,
(13:00):
realigning your thoughts withthe quantum field.
And then we have to startpriming our brains.
We have to start priming ourbrains to support the things
that we actually desire.
We can do use things like breathwork, declarations, journaling,
(13:21):
uh healing sessions,meditations.
These are actual real neuralrewiring tools.
We have to renew our minds.
Our minds were designed to bemalleable and changeable, not
stuck in a dogma, a beliefsystem that's keeping you stuck.
(13:46):
And we have to do itconsistently.
It's not a one and done thing.
Like I don't just wake up oneday and say, well, this is just
how my life is going to be now.
It's a daily practice, it's amoment by moment practice.
And we have to expect to see it.
If I say that I want my if I sayI want my day to be a certain
(14:06):
way, but deep down in my soul, Ibelieve it's going to be
different.
That's conflicting.
I have to believe it and say itover and over, right?
This isn't about hoping forthings to get better.
This is about believing thatit's it's already done.
(14:26):
It's already done, it's alreadyreal.
I already have it.
And then walking in that belief.
So you were designed with thisbeautiful capacity to align your
mind, body, and spirit.
And that's what flow is.
We just came out of the flowchallenge a couple weeks ago.
That's what flow is aligningmind, body, and spirit to the
(14:50):
frequency of heaven, thefrequency of God, the frequency
of the quantum field.
But it begins with renewing yourmind and reprogramming your
focus.
We have to prime our brain tosee what we want it to see.
So here's my invitation for you.
(15:11):
If your beliefs are no longerserving you, you know you want
things to be different.
If your thoughts are stuck onreplay, I can't get out of this
on my own.
If your life feels like it's notmatching the desires of your
heart, if you're ready to put ona new set of glasses that help
you view the world in adifferent way, I want to support
(15:32):
you through that.
And uh yeah, quantum physics,it's crazy.
Mark 11, 24 says, Whatever youask for in prayer, believing
that you have already receivedit, it will be yours.
Scriptures like this never madesense to me.
I mean, I believed it, it was myfaith, but it did not make sense
(15:56):
until I started understandingquantum physics.
Holy cow! Science is helping meunderstand my faith even deeper.
Guys, thank you so much forhanging out with me today.
Let me know if you have anyquestions about this.
I would love to share more aboutthe quantum field, about how it
(16:20):
all works together.
We are all connected, everythingis energy.
We are all connected to eachother.
We are all connected.
And um, yeah, love talking aboutthis stuff.
It feels really woo-woo, Ipromise you.
It's science.
All right.
We'll talk soon.
Bye.
Thank you so much for listeningtoday.
