(00:00):
Me, you know me me me the podcast, my friends, Oh my
loves. Today he's going to be a little
bit different because my belovedMaddie, darling friend and Co
host, is current currently in America in the time of her
freaking life. But I miss her desperately.
(00:21):
And so I've created some workshops to share with you that
I think you would find really fucking useful.
And yeah, I'm sorry it's not going to include adorable little
Maddie and our musical intros, but I hope this will suffice in
the interim. In the meantime, here's this
thing. Hello, hello, friends.
(00:48):
We're going to be sharing all about how I've sold over 10
million dollars, $12 million, sorry, $12 million in E courses.
The number has gone up again. Hooray, Hooray.
Yes, this workshop is going to be recorded so you can check
back. Oh, more must be more.
(01:11):
What a blessing. I'm so grateful that I have
friends and online people that have just been in my world for
so long. It's such a deep and dear
blessing. So let's get started, shall we?
Let's begin. I'm joined as always by my
wonderful goblin assistant, Zita.
So she'll be helping us and she's also going to be helping
(01:34):
me with drawing some prizes as well thing.
All right, let's get started by presenting the slideshow.
Nice. Yes, I.
Love, you know your lovely little video that you just
filmed for Instagram has not posted, so you may need to open
(01:55):
your. Phone.
Oh, OK. Oh, good thinking.
All right, come on, my friend, you can do this post bench.
Why? Why are you being so mean to me?
Speaking of, you know, the the joys of technology and I love.
It can't we just update A blog already?
(02:15):
It should upload shortly. I'll keep it open.
All right, let's begin and let'sdo a deep dive into how I've
sold over $12 million in E courses.
We were talking about how to I've sold over 12 million E
courses, my top tips for E course success and really behind
the scenes of my E course business, why I think E courses
are such an important income stream, and the common
(02:38):
misconceptions and fears and blocks when it comes to creating
E courses. So why should you learn from me?
I've created over $14 million inrevenue.
My I'm an international best selling author with over 500,000
gold books used worldwide. I'm the winner of Osmum
(02:59):
Preneur's People Choice BusinessCoach award twice, and I've won
five more awards as well. I've taught 10s of thousands of
students and I'm one of the original adopters of E courses
back in 2008. So that's me catching some cute,
more cute trophies last year at Osman Preneur.
(03:19):
And I've been presented in a bunch of places as well, which
is so fun. And most importantly, I've
created a multi $1,000,000 business, but I've only ever
worked to 10 hours a week. My kids and I have been with our
kids from the moment they've been born like they've not
needed. We haven't needed to do daycare
or anything like that. We've been able to just to be
together as much as possible. We're able to home school for a
(03:42):
few years. I ended up being three years
instead of two and we've been able to live in some of the most
beautiful places in Australia. And I just feel incredibly,
incredibly blessed for what E Courses has given me.
So when people hear that I've created that amount of revenue
with really high profit margins in a short period of time in,
(04:03):
you know, 10 hours a week, people always like, how have you
done it? And this is like really like the
the beginning story time when I was a kid, I you really early
on, I wanted to be a creative. I wanted to make art, I wanted
to write, I wanted to create change in the world.
(04:25):
So this is me when I was in kindergarten, just absolutely
adorable. And I knew back then that I
wanted to be this in the world. And my parents were very
pragmatic farmers. And they're like, well, you
can't be a creative, there's no money in that.
So you're going to have to get achild, get an office job.
(04:46):
So I was like, well, if I can't have my dream, then I'll just
take second best. And to me, second best was I
wanted to be Prime Minister of Australia, or at the very least
like a head CEO of a large government department.
So when I was 20, I moved to Canberra and I started working
(05:07):
in government. I got to work in Parliament
House, I got to work for business.gov dot IU.
This is me and some of my darling friends and workmates
with David Koch at one of our launch events and it was a
really wonderful experience. But really quickly I was like,
this is not it for me. This is not the thing I want to
(05:28):
be doing for the rest of my life.
And I remember like, having to come out to my dad and be like,
I actually am going to be an artist.
And I started like just fueling all of my spare energy outside
of work into working out how I could have that dream career of
mine. So I wrote my first book.
(05:50):
I started selling my art at markets, a solo art exhibition,
I ran workshops and spiritual retreats, I did tarot card
readings. I did all kinds of things, and I
blogged on the site. I started blogging in 2004.
These are some early iterations of my website.
And it was in 2008. I remember one of my best
(06:16):
friends calling me and saying, oh, my God, have you seen what
Susie Blue has done? And Susie Blue was a artist at
the time and still is. And she brought out an E course.
And it was the first time I'd heard the word E course.
And at that time I was sharing about like the retreats that I
was running at, like in person in Canberra.
(06:38):
And so many of my blog readers were like, I just wish that you
could come to Canada and teach me there.
And I would have loved to have done that.
But I was like, you know what, if I could do an E course, then
that's like me being able to do these workshops worldwide.
So I immediately jumped on and created the Creative Goddess
(06:58):
cause, which was beautiful and life changing.
And that was I think January 2008 when I released that and
went on to create a bunch more courses.
And immediately I knew like, oh,this is the thing that I wanna
be doing. Like, I love creating, I love
teaching. I love making things and
teaching what I know. And I can do this in a really
(07:22):
like way that completely makes my heart sing and gets really,
really beautiful results for my clients.
I remember my first program, theCreative Goddess course, I had
like 150 people on my mailing list and I had 150 people sign
up for my Creative Goddess course, which is like unheard
of. Like in terms of I didn't even
know the word conversion rate back back then, but 100%
(07:46):
conversion rate is insane. And I think it was just because
I had already, you know, been blogging for four years.
I'd been in message boards before that, sharing my stories
before I found out about blogs. And I've been able to like
develop really long term beautiful connections and
relationships with people by sharing what I was creating and
(08:08):
thinking about long before like social media was invented and
just creating like real connections.
So I'd love that this was the birth place of my business.
And I was like, oh, this is going to be like something that
I'm always going to to create because I love making and
teaching and helping. Since then I've produced I think
(08:32):
150 is it as AE course is probably the low number.
I'd say we're over 200 now. I've taught about business
marketing, self-publishing, homeschooling, relationships, self
love, sex journaling, meditations, anxiety,
productivity, network marketing,finances, parenting, social
media, burnout, all kinds of stuff.
(08:53):
So I friggin love E courses and for me now I pull all of my
programs. So now we've got over 100
programs, not all on these topics because I've been
creating for like 16 years now. So some of them got retired and
I've bought out new ones. So I've got over 100 programs in
(09:13):
my brilliant Biz and Life Academy and Ioffer it all up at
a really affordable prime dollars.
We have about 5000 members in there and I just love being able
to create and make and teach andshare and help people in a way
that completely lights me up andis so supportive and nourishing
and generous to them as well. So I fucking love E courses.
(09:36):
It's made a huge difference in my life.
And I'm such an advocate for it for other business owners
because it really enables you tostop selling 1:00 to 1:00 and
you can start teaching not just like one person or a dozen
people, but hundreds and thousands of people.
And it can really position you as an expert as well.
(09:58):
It can really help you scale andearn more money.
And by getting it done like a lot of people have on their
list, like, oh, I want to createan E course one day.
Getting it done is just such a rewarding thing and it gets it
out there and it creates that groundswell of you being able to
create, you know, a an empire, areal empire.
And the love. The thing I absolutely love
(10:20):
about E courses is the fact thatyou can help so many people like
just by putting in like 1 bit ofeffort into creating a program.
It can go on to. It doesn't just have to help
like one person. It doesn't.
You don't have to put more energy in to help 100 or 1000 or
10,000 people. It's the same work and you're
just sharing it out with more and more people.
(10:42):
It's such a beautiful thing and the profit margins are crazy
easy in compared to other other businesses.
So for example, like I've been able to get to my business to a
point where it's like 80% profitbefore I pay myself.
Like it's just unreal. What an absolute blessing.
Also the thing like I always tryand remind people is that people
(11:04):
definitely pay more for an E course than for an e-book.
So if or just a plain book, likeif you have content and you sell
it in a book, then you kind of can be a little bit limited in
how much you can charge for it because there's like a very
specific amount, you know, for books and e-books.
(11:24):
But you can create that same content into multi visual like
multimedia through videos and worksheets, that kind of stuff.
And people will pay 10 * 100 times the amount for the same
content. Ecourses also definitely can
create more transformation for your clients as they're guided
through your work as well. Instead of just like reading and
(11:46):
then putting it down and forgetting about it.
It can really help you create anextra stream of income as well.
Profit margins are really high, environmentally friendly because
there's no manufacturing or shipping.
It really allows you to open to the worldwide market and income
is scalable. You know for me like I'm able to
create a business turns on average about 7 figures and I
(12:10):
can run that quite easily with just one part time assistant.
At the moment I have a few more because we're growing and
scaling even beyond that, but we've got so we've got
three-part time assistants, but even then they're doing less
hours than like one full time person.
So the the income is super scalable.
(12:32):
And I also know of people who are doing 7 figures and E
courses and don't have any assistant and are doing it all
themselves. It's amazing.
John Chambers, the CEO of Cisco Systems, says the next killer
app on the Internet is the is education.
Education of the Internet is going to be so big, it's going
to make e-mail usage look like arounding error.
(12:52):
And I know that so many of you think like, Oh well, but like,
we've already gone through that with COVID.
COVID definitely helped speed that along.
But I think it's actually going to become even more mainstream
and than what it is, which is really, really exciting and I
think has so many beautiful blessings for not just content
(13:13):
creators and educators, but for people who want to learn.
Like I'm actually like, I am somebody who loves taking E
courses and it's actually hard for me to find enough E courses
to keep up with. And it's not like I'm doing this
like learning as a full time job.
It's just as like a fun hobby for me and a little bit of my
(13:35):
business as well. But yeah, it can be hard for me
to find it. And I also want to find people
who are the right alignment for me and the right energy and the
right teacher for me. So yeah, I'm just such a big
advocate for people sharing their work with the world.
The worldwide e-learning market is projected to be a worth worth
around $325 billion next year, and I think it will go even
(13:59):
bigger than that. So for people who have E courses
or haven't created them yet, I wanted to give you some success
tips to make sure that you have in in alignment.
Let me just check questions and make sure that everyone can see
all these beautiful things. Petty says hi.
(14:21):
I love being in your world and in your Academy.
I'm so thrilled. Also, if you just joined us, if
you, you can have a chance to win a copy of the Bizzle Life
Goals Workbook by sharing this webinar on social media or
inviting a friend to come along or tagging them in this video on
Facebook. And then you just comment #shag,
shared or shagged. Either way, we'll count it in
(14:44):
the comments and you'll go in the drawer to win a workbook.
Pinky says. I love your workbooks.
They have, I've been using them for years.
They give me so much clarity formy distracted ADHD brain.
Guys, if you don't know who Pinky McKay is, she is a fucking
legend in the Australian mothering market and an absolute
fucking expert when it comes to parenting and childbirth and all
(15:08):
the things Pamela says. This is exactly what I need
right now. Thank you, Leone.
Oh my love, I'm I'm so grateful I'm so honoured and sue says
love you Leoni hashtag shared I love you right back sue thank
you for being here thank you forbeing here all right let's dive
in and zaza, thank you for tagging a friend to come in as
(15:30):
well. Please tag friends who you think
this would be really useful for all right success tips.
Let me have a cup of tea first. I hope you can all see my
teacup. If you want to know what my love
language is, it's vast vats thatI can put my cups of tea in,
(15:52):
especially if they've got ridiculous things written on
them. So it says melodramatic and it's
marshmallow running away from fire.
I've also got one that's got like chocolate melting and it
says I'm having a meltdown. It's the small things, honestly.
All right, success tip #1 you donot need to be the world's
(16:13):
foremost expert on the on your topic in order to be able to
create an E course. You just need to know a little
bit more than the people that you're selling to and to share
your voice and your experience because that is holy and that is
good and that is so profoundly useful.
My darling friend Denise Duffield Thomas says you don't
(16:35):
have to be a guru. You can be a contributor.
If you really care about a topic, be a contributor.
You don't have to know everything.
Success tip #2 just start beforeyou're ready.
You only learn how to create an E course by doing it.
You don't need teaching experience, you don't need
public speaking experience, and you don't need yet another
(16:55):
certification. I know a lot of people kind of
tend to get in for a habit of just collecting certifications.
You don't need to do that. You can actually just start
where you are right now. When I was 23 years old, that's
me on the left with the long curly hair, My mermaid hair.
I either go mermaid hair or Pixie hair.
But spoiler, I'm going to grow my mermaid hair back because
(17:18):
I've had Pixie for a few years and I think we're going to move
to a back to a cold climate and I need my mermaid hair to keep
me warm. So when I was 23 years old, I
had a vision that I needed to run a meditation retreat and I,
I've never even been on a retreat before.
(17:39):
I didn't even been on a retreat.The audacity.
I love this about me. And I was like, right, I'm just
going to fucking do it. And I did and it was a miracle
time. And I look back on those days
and it's just such a my heart swells and I learned so much
from doing it. And I think it's just going to
be one of those beautiful memories that exists for all of
(18:00):
the women that attended that event.
So start before you're ready. Do it anyway.
You don't have to be older or wiser or have another
certification in order to be able to do these things.
Trust in yourself and trust in your ability to create magic and
trust that you're going to learnas you go along.
(18:22):
So you don't need to do more training per SE.
You've already got a lot of training.
I see especially like massage therapists, they're always
wanting to add another training to it, and then they'll finally
feel worthy. You can just be worthy now and
you can share what you know now and you will learn as you go
along. Rick Goldman says audiences want
(18:43):
people who they feel are just like them.
Don't be perfect, just be real. And here's the thing, like about
this, so many people say to me, like Leonie, I just love that
you turn up as you are, that you're not that polished, that
like you don't have your makeup done.
You often turn up in pajamas to stuff.
You swear, you make mistakes, you fuck up the text sometimes
(19:04):
and you're completely yourself. And I'm like, who else am I
going to be? There is like people out there
who have everything picture perfect, super polished, and
I've tried learning from them and I can't do it because it's
so fucking boring. And I also feel like it's
something, it's a metric that I'm unable to hold myself up to.
I just want to be around real people.
(19:26):
I want to be around people who are like me and look like me and
all of themselves wherever they go.
So you don't have to be perfect. You can just be yourself, learn
how to market the absolute shit out of what you create.
And this is a thing I think thatmany creatives and heart
(19:47):
centered and heart centered humans and healers struggle with
because I feel like I, I just want to create and put it out in
the world and not have to market.
And it's really not good enough just to create something.
You need to find the people who need it and communicate clearly
how it will benefit. So it's yes, you're going to
(20:09):
have to learn a new skill. When I was starting out in my
business and like trying all thedifferent things, I realized
really quickly that I wasn't going to be able to create a
sustainable business that would look after me if I didn't.
Build my business and marketing skills.
And I'd spent so much time goingto like, you know, the creative
(20:30):
and the spiritual gym and learning about all of that,
building those muscles that my business muscles at that point
was so flaccid, they were completely undeveloped at all.
And so I had to consciously makethe decision to learn how to
market, to learn how to do business.
For me, it was like crafting a beautiful vessel that would hold
(20:52):
my business to be able to take it out into the world and hold
my gifts in a Safeway in order for to undertake many voyages
and see so many lands, you know? And I'm so grateful for the ways
that I've had to step up and expand myself and grow.
And it's something that I have to continue to do as a business
(21:16):
owner, continue to be open to learning about new things,
continue to try new things even when it feels hard and beyond
me, and really look at the ways my own stories might hold me
back from being my biggest, boldest, bravest version of
myself in the world. It's my job to go out and find
(21:38):
all of the people who need my work and share it with them and
speak about it in a way that they understand that it is for
them. It is a, it's a sacred art, this
beauty of clear communication and selling.
I like to talk about it as the clear plastic envelope, not the
(21:59):
brown paper envelope. So imagine if you got up on a
stage and you were like, oh, hey, does anyone want to buy
this from me? And you hold up this brown paper
envelope and you don't talk about what's inside it into it.
Don't talk about what any like the value or anything.
You're like, who wants to buy this?
It's $100. Nobody.
Oh, OK, And maybe one crazy rando at the back might buy it
(22:22):
because they love you and they want to support you, but they're
just taking a they're taking a wild stab in the dark.
They've got no idea what you're selling.
That's what it's like when you don't tell people who you are,
how you can help them, how this program helps.
Imagine instead that you got up on a stage in front of crowd
(22:42):
full of people and you had a clear plastic envelope and
inside that envelope is $500 andyou're like, I can sell this
today for $100. I only have two hundred of these
envelopes to sell inside. You are going to get $500, no
questions asked, given to you today.
That's how much value you're getting out of this.
(23:04):
Imagine what you could do without $500.
You could go out and have the fanciest lunch.
You could put it towards your rent.
You could use it to invest and build your dreams.
You are not the only person who's ever bought this.
Here's some people who've boughtthis envelope before and what
they said about it and they've got, you know, you've got two
people that come up and say, Yep, I bought this.
It was fantastic. I'm so grateful like you would.
(23:27):
It was the easiest decision of my life and it changed my life.
And then you're like, and you know, bloody Oprah loves her
clear plastic envelope. But you only have to pay five
hundred, $100 today, you get $500 in value.
Who wants to get it? And guess what?
Most of the people in the audience are going to put their
(23:48):
hands up and want to buy from you because you've clearly
demonstrated the value and you've reminded them of the
social proof in it that they're not the only ones who are doing
it. You've done like this beautiful
act of building trust and transparency.
So when it comes to selling yourEcos, you need to be thinking
about the clear plastic envelope, not the brown paper
(24:11):
one. Share your brownies.
This is something that I remember Fabian Frederickson
told me about years and years ago.
And she was like, you know, yourgifts.
It's like you're like the the greatest brownie maker in the
world. And imagine all your friends
came over to your place and you were like, you just really
(24:31):
wanted to make brownies and you really felt like eating some.
And you're like, everyone just stay here.
I'm going to go into the kitchen.
And you start going in and you make all your brownies in the
kitchen. They keep coming out and going.
What are you doing? You're like nothing, nothing.
You don't need to know anything about this.
Not for you. They're like, wow, OK, we're
slightly rude. They keep walking and they're
like, that smells incredible. What is it?
Nothing. I'm not scamming.
(24:52):
I don't want to market. No, I'm not talking about this.
They're like, fuck me, OK? And then you sit in the corner
of the kitchen, just eat your brownies by yourself and wonder
why people don't want to pay youfor your brownies.
Like your gifts, your experience, your wisdom, the
things that you have to share are your brownies.
(25:13):
So of course you need to share about them honestly, and get rid
of this whole idea that sharing is scammy.
Like the only thing that's scareme is if you're like, give them
brownies. If you say like, oh, buy some
brownies for me. And it's not brownies.
It's like dog shit flattened in a cake pan.
That's scary. You got fucking delicious
(25:35):
brownies. That's just like giving people
what they want. So sure you're brownies.
I want to say Fabian Frederick said.
Did not say the dog shit thing. That was my own special little
creative touch and that you are welcome.
Fred Miller says the worst speech you'll ever give will be
far better than the one that younever give.
(25:56):
Another success tip for you. And this is my beautiful friend
Maddie, who's the Co host of my podcast.
And I'm just, I dreamt about herlast night.
I miss her. I love her so much.
She's currently in America teaching at a, a camp, a summer
camp. But I just couldn't be more
proud of her. If you don't know how to do
something, you can learn it. You don't have to be born good
(26:21):
at business, at marketing, at money, at any of the things like
there's no baby that comes out of the world.
And it's like, you know what? I know how to read a profit and
loss statement. No, it's all fucking learn,
learnable. And you have a big fucking brain
and you can do anything. So anything that you don't know
how to do, that's totally fine. There's YouTube videos for it,
(26:42):
there's courses about it, there's books, there's all the
people will teach you how to do it and it can take practice.
But that's the beauty of neuroplasticity.
Like it's a great thing for yourbrain in order to learn new
things and it's a great thing for your life and for your
business. So if you haven't already,
please share about this webinar on social media or tag a friend
(27:05):
or DM a friend about it. Then just comment hashtag shared
in the live stream and we will have some witness at the end of
my brilliant year Goldberg book.Hooray, Hooray.
All right, let me check commentsmaking sure that everything's
cool, Sue says. Hilarious.
(27:27):
I've been hoarding my brownies for years.
Lol my love. And we're all standing around
going, can we have a brownie? What's this beautiful smell
like? Nothing.
Get out of my kitchen. This isn't funny, Viviana says.
That has been my Achilles heel. Marketing.
Well, guess what? You're in good company because
(27:47):
it's most people's Achilles heel, especially if you're a
woman, because we have been culturally educated to stay
small and quiet and compliant. And you know what?
That has helped, That has helpedprop up the patriarchy.
It's really useful for men if westay quiet and we don't claim
(28:07):
our gifts and our wisdom. And you know what we say to
that? We say no thank you because the
world needs us, our boys. It's they're ready to learn from
women and non binary folk and people whose stories haven't
been heard as much. I personally really prefer not
to learn from men. I'll do whatever I can to not
(28:29):
have to learn from a man, Pamelasays.
Oh my God, I'm a certification collector.
Amazing. You love learning and guess
what? Amazing.
Your next certification for you to do is to learn about business
and marketing and sharing your gifts with the world.
Hey, hey, Ryan, Michelle says. I'm new to Leone, but I'm so
(28:52):
happy to have found you in your work.
I'm so glad you're here at last. We've missed you.
We've missed you, Patty Rose says You shared gladly.
Because you're incredible and giving and inspirational and
empowering and more and more andmore Oh my love, Oh my love.
Ryan says Leonie needs a spot onSaturday Night Live.
(29:14):
I do, but that would require putting, like leaving the house
and putting a bar on, right? I think I might just do
webinars. I'm still laughing over here.
Thank you. You're welcome.
Dog shit jokes always perform super well, I thought.
I don't know if that's what you're laughing over Either way,
OK, next success tip for E courses.
(29:38):
Deadline marketing can really make dollars.
So when it comes to sharing yourE course with the world, I
highly recommend having a deadline to it.
Whether that is you need to signup by this date, you know, in
order to do a live round or you close cart completely or you
have an early bird discount or so.
(29:59):
Those kinds of deadlines really, really help.
I don't know if you can hear my kids squealing with laughter in
the background. So cute.
They're with their daddy. Harness the tech here.
Make sure that you automate, don't send everything manually
and use software available to make it easier.
I say this as somebody who had none of this when I built my
(30:21):
first E course. Then I had to send out 150
emails out separately. So stay back.
It's so funny. Good learning lesson though.
So for example, I use Kajabi to build out so it's all automated.
That's my affiliate link for Kajabi if you want to check it
out. But there is so much tech that
you can use that is cheaper thanKajabi as well.
(30:43):
If you're in my program, 40 daysto create Cellular E course, I
take you through all of the different payment options and
tech options that can help you as well.
Elliot Macy says we need to bring learning to people instead
of people to learning. Like for me, I think I've been
to maybe like 3 conferences my whole business life about that.
(31:07):
I just don't like leaving the house.
Plus I've got kids and you know, like a lot of us, I've got
responsibilities and I don't want to like travel all over the
globe just to learn, especially when I can just like get the
conference recording and do it in bed.
Yes please, yes please. Boundaries are really, really
beautiful for E courses and for all businesses.
(31:28):
So make sure that you pre educate your E course students
on how to get the most out of the course, how to contact you,
what level of support they get from you, what's OK and what's
not OK, and how to interact withother students.
You can just lay it out like right from the beginning and
people really appreciate the safety of that.
(31:49):
Knowing how they can interact inthat space is hugely, hugely
helpful. And you know, for me, I, I've
been running online communities for fucking decades.
And I'm really well known for the fact that we don't have
massive dramas in my online spaces.
We don't have to kick people outand we don't have massive like
(32:12):
blow UPS in in my spaces. And it's just because we're
really clear about how to, for people to interact.
We give people like the guidelines like, oh, by the way,
if you aren't able to interact in healthy and compassionate
ways, you will be removed from this program and not able to
interact with those students. It happens very rarely.
I can't even remember the last time we've done that, maybe a
(32:33):
couple of years ago. But having those boundaries in
place are really potent. Boundaries really make people
feel safe. Boundaries help people succeed,
and boundaries really create an excellent container for
learning, Ayanna Van Sant says. People violate you when you
don't have clear boundaries because you don't tell them how
to behave in your life. My recommendation with E courses
(32:58):
is to use what you have as well.Don't feel like you need to go
out and spend a whole bunch of money on tech upgrades and
recording. You can always upgrade your tech
and your recording later and don't compare your beginning to
someone else's ending. So for example, Denise Daffield
Thomas has the most beautifully recorded course with her money
(33:19):
boot camp. And like, I've because I've been
friends with Denise for a reallylong time, 2000 and 11 maybe.
You know, I remember when she first brought out Money Boot
Camp and it was just done as a web recording online and it was
great and it was so useful. I still haven't even gone
through like the fancy recorded one.
It was only years later after she'd earned millions and
(33:42):
millions from a program that then she invested in doing like
a really polished like recording.
Shoot for it. Like you don't have to start
producing at that level from theget go.
And also like I haven't producedat like that level of like for
me, I still prefer a lofi optionand that's totally OK and
(34:03):
totally doable. So just use what you have.
Online learning is not the next big thing.
It is the now big thing an educational author says.
I also really recommend writing the sales page first.
Think about all the things people want to know and what
they ask for. And then create your program
(34:24):
after the sales page is written because that can really help you
get into the mindset of what is it my people want and need and
what would they find incredibly useful.
And then create your program. Don't let time pass you buy.
Don't like stop putting it at the bottom of your To Do List.
Don't let another year pass you buy without launching your
(34:46):
course. So give yourself a deadline and
start selling it now. The thing that I want you to
know is it doesn't have to take you six months or a year to
create an E course. So I have my 40 days to create
and tell your E course. I've been teaching it for years
now. We have literally thousands of
people who've gone through it and so many people who've
launched their E courses from itand have done amazingly well.
(35:11):
And you do take 40 days or less to create and sell your E
course. And I take you through step by
step exactly how I create and sell E courses.
So I take you from brainstormingyour course idea worksheets to
decide what E course to create first mind BAP templates to help
you map out your course, the tech how to's, how to market
(35:33):
your course powerfully, the how to, and the accountability on
just getting your course done. Because I know so many people
get stuck in that. Step by step guidance and
coaching to get your course finished.
Systems hints to help you make your course run smoothly and in
less time. I'll give you checklists and
success secrets for me as AE course veteran, how to be a
(35:54):
stronger and more effective teacher and guide your students
through the course, how to work with your students, creating
excellent boundaries. And I can also go through the
tech as well like software platforms that you can teach on
a whole range of options from like no cost through to more
expensive with more functionality where you can sell
(36:14):
your E course. How to record audio and
meditations, designing graphics, running group calls, creating
e-books, videos, webinars, worksheets.
All the tech, the how to the accountability and the marketing
smarts to get your E course doneand out in the world selling.
And I have a whole bunch of people that have learned from me
and have gotten so much out of it.
(36:39):
If you've got a course already, yes it will help you if you want
to sell more of your course. If you don't want to sell more
of your course, just ignore me. Totally fine if you if you're
thinking like I don't have any teaching experience.
I'm worried I won't be good enough to be an E course
teacher. I had sweet fuck all teaching
experience when I started teaching online courses.
It's not 11 years ago, 2816. I don't know.
(37:04):
I'm not here for maths, I'm not a maths teacher.
I learned it by doing it. I'm also going to give you the
best of everything I've learned to help you be a more powerful
teacher and create a really amazing experience for your
customers. If you don't know what course
you want to teach yet, that's totally fine.
We've brainstormed that in the course.
There's worksheets, mapping tools, inspiration, guidance,
(37:25):
and I really believe everyone's got a course inside them just
like they've got a book inside them.
Yes, I cover all the tech parts and also how to like get over a
whole bunch of like your tech mindset stuff as well.
Now with the 40 days to create and sell your E course, I highly
recommend don't just buy it by itself.
(37:46):
You can buy it I think it's 197 by itself or you can get it in
the brilliant biz and life Academy, which is where you get
all of my programs like 100 moreprograms as well.
So let me take you through just what you get in the Academy as
well, because you get so much inthe Academy that it's hard to
(38:15):
talk about. All right, let me present my
screen again and screen you tab. It's opening.
It'll be so fun when it does open, Sue says, Oh my God,
genius, a sales page. How do I miss this?
(38:36):
Yes, massively important, Chaya says.
What I'm loving about this is I'm already a member of the
Academy, and even though I hear you marking, I'm getting
motivated to do the thing. That's what I fucking love to
hear. And this is the thing.
There's so much in the Academy that you might forget just how
much like you get out of it. So it's always beautiful for me
to take this, take people through who are already in the
(38:58):
Academy, because you just get somuch in it.
OK, let me take you through the Academy and what you get.
So make sure you're watching this around.
Yes, my love. I have just finished making some
updates to the page. Just a second.
So could you refresh? It.
(39:19):
Because I've added one of our new guest experts to it and
things so. Oh my God.
Oh my God. OK, perfect.
I'll get it to refresh. See, we're always adding new
stuff to the Academy. No, it's refreshing now.
OK, great. This is the thing, like when
(39:41):
you've got something like the Academy where you have literally
hundreds of stuff, hundreds of things in there, then like we
have to update because we've always got new stuff coming out.
So make sure you watch the videobecause it's fucking hilarious.
And I actually spent money and time on that and I fell into the
pool afterwards. So that's really important and
(40:01):
it's ridiculous and it's fantastic.
There's some words if you want to read words.
We love read words, but let me show you the fodder of what you
actually get. So you get 40 days to create and
sell your E course, which will take you through the whole
process. These are programs that you get
the same amount of content that if you spent $2000.00 for just
(40:22):
one course. So 40 days to create and sell
your E course is comparable to a$2000 program that you're going
to find. And I've had so many people tell
me that and take other ones and they're like, I actually got
more out of yours, more practical, more helpful, more
got me actually momentum and doing the thing.
So that's what we love to hear. So usually I sell these programs
(40:42):
for like, you know, 200 to $300.00 each in the Academy.
You just get it all as part of your membership, which is 199
USA year. I like, it's crazy, but I just,
I like to be generous. I like to help as many people as
I can. There's also Sales Star, which
is really, really important. If you're only going to do one
program in the Academy, I recommend taking Sales Star,
which is helps you to do that copywriting and sales and
(41:05):
marketing and also gets you through some of those mindset
blocks that a lot of people have.
Money manifesting multiple streams of income is one of my
most popular. That's for you if you really
want to get your, your money situation fucking nailing it
when you want to save more money, when you want to make
more money. And I'll take you behind the
scenes of exactly how I built a multi $1,000,000 net worth.
(41:28):
I also have 40 days to a finished book.
So the same process of like we do 40 days to a finished E
course. That's it's completely different
content, but you can take 40 days to write and finish a book.
And we have so many people who have written their books using
that program, which is so, so great.
We also have marketing without social media for people who
(41:49):
don't want to use social media or want to find ways outside of
social media to market. That's super potent.
And it's actually one of their most popular programs.
Work Less, Earn More takes you through exactly what I do in
order to earn money. Azita, could you take a note to
update the creator? Over 13 million in revenue
because we've hit over 14,000,000 now.
(42:10):
But do it later, once I'm not editing now work less, earn
more. So I take you through that
process. I show you exactly how I've
created a business that is low work hours but like high income
get organized. It's a 21 day decluttering and
organizing challenge for your life and business.
(42:31):
So if you're really, really overwhelmed on that front,
that's very useful. Midas Touch is probably the most
spiritual hippie thing I have available currently and it's a
beautiful 11 day meditation journey to really help you
uplift your mindset and cultivate more abundance and
(42:52):
confidence in your life. And so many people just have
really deep, profound experiences with that.
Lots of people emailing, crying at how much it's affected them.
I know that my assistants when they were editing it were crying
because of how big it was for them.
So that's probably like my hidden gem, Midas Touch.
If you haven't taken Midas Touchyet, you also get how to hire
(43:15):
and manage a VA, how to heal andprevent burnout, how to deal
with trolls and criticism in your business, how to decide
what business to do, how to findthe perfect accountant for you
and your business. And then I also do a Leone's
money full review where you get completely behind the scenes of
exactly like my net worth, my current income streams, what I
invest in, my retirement plan, how I track my income goals and
(43:37):
all that. My new workshop, ADHD and autism
business and productivity success just came out.
You get that free as well. You get cash Crunch monthly
group coaching and our new virtual Co working room.
If you are already in the Academy and you haven't joined
the Co working room yet, I'll just give you the link in the
(44:00):
comments so that you can Join Now and I can approve you.
So then you can then go on to use it forevermore.
I'll just put it in the comments.
Here we go. Just show it on the screen,
tinyurl.com/the Industry Room, and then I can approve it,
(44:24):
improve your access, and then you can use it forever more.
And so many people have been using that.
It's a relatively new recent Academy offering and people will
use it when they need to get hard things done or whether they
or they use it all day while they're working.
And people have just gotten hugeresults of it, which is really
beautiful and I use it all the time myself.
(44:45):
You also get my complete libraryof workbooks, the digital
conversions, my business goals workbook, my life goals
workbook, my daily To Do List planner, my weekly planner, my
erotic romance novella that I wrote in quarantine, my calm
Christmas planner, which is so juicy and so fun.
Then every single month you get a brand new workshop with me as
(45:06):
well. So we've already done set up
your website that sells decide you're pricing and set up
payments had decide what business to do master tech for
business success. Create a lead magnet.
Create a newsletter 2 page marketing plan saying a
profitable social media marketing planning your 2024
business success. How to create digital arts, how
to create incredible customer service money management for
(45:27):
your business. How to grow your business with
launches, how to start and grow a membership program, how to win
awards And next month we're doing how to grow your business
with testimonials. Then how to grow your business
with networking, graphic design for your business, how to grow
your business with affiliates, how to create business systems,
and an annual business review. And we will also release the
calendar soon of our 2025 releases as well because you'll
(45:52):
get a brand new workshop every single month.
You also get a brand new business tracker, planner or
spreadsheet every single month as well.
These are the ones that are already in the available in the
library for you to use. Yearly business growth tracker,
monthly financials and growth tracker, annual marketing
calendar launch results tracker, financial goals tracker weekly
content planner, monthly business goals plan.
(46:14):
Weekly business planner lead magnet and webinar success
tracker affiliate lead tracker content library planner 52
newsletter content ideas customer service e-mail
templates, flash sale emails templates, launch success
checklist morning routine template live stream content
ideas e-mail templates to get testimonials 100 social media
content ideas, new customer e-mail templates, affiliate
(46:37):
onboarding e-mail templates, daily essential business task
template and standard operating procedure template.
So you get all of those and we'll have new ones coming out
every single month next year as well.
And then every single month at the moment we've got, you
usually get one or two guest experts a month and I won't go
through and read all of them outbecause we've now got like 48, I
(47:00):
think. So I'll just scroll through and
you can just take note of some of the ones that you might like
to do because they're all just so brilliant and powerful and
useful and they cover all areas of life and business.
And we've got some really important ones about social
justice work as well. But it's, yeah, really gorgeous
(47:21):
and really potent. And I highly recommend that you
start diving into them. You all right?
And I'm happy to answer questions as well for anybody
who has questions. OK, Comment says marketing is
hard for me too. How do I get how do I get my
(47:42):
brand out there without a lot ofdollars to spend?
Isn't it beautiful that we're inthe age of where you get to
create and share your work with the world without having to
start a publishing house? Like it's all at your fingertips
And here's a beauty like if you love talking, you could do a
(48:05):
podcast. If you love video, you could do
video creations on YouTube. If you love writing, you could
do a blog or sub stack or medium.
There's just so many beautiful options.
And there might be like you alsomight be somebody who loves
being in person. So that's where like networking
events and speaking on stage. There's literally hundreds and
(48:27):
hundreds and thousands of ways for you to share about your
brand without spending any money.
It's amazing. We are so, so blessed to get to
live in this age. You're the very best.
Wilma and William Greenwood. Oh, Wilma and William, you are
just the most darlingest. Thank you.
My thank you, my humans. Fiona says hashtag share with my
(48:48):
business friends. This is so helpful.
Thanks Fiona. Celestial creation is love
hearing the kids more real. I think they're playing maybe
Animal Crossing or Starchy Valley or they might be in
Minecraft together like creatingworlds.
Linda says. Hi Lee, I have questions about
what you do last from yesterday.Oh, can you tell me more?
(49:11):
Do you mean like the workshop I did yesterday?
I'm so happy to answer questionsabout yesterday as well.
Tracy said so glad I've made it to this.
I've been hiding. This is so helpful.
I shared this with friends. Thank you so much for sharing
it. I'm so glad it's been helpful.
Eve says I share this live training to my friend and said
jump on. I've got tears from laughing so
hard. You're delightful.
This is the joy my friends. We can like turn up and be all
(49:34):
of ourselves and have a fucking great time learning fine.
Michelle says Drama freeze, a book about creating family,
creating boundaries for your family.
I highly recommend it and may help with clients too.
Boundaries is such a big important one, especially for
women who are assigned female atbirth.
Like we are taught to like let our boundaries be just crushed
(49:57):
all over in order to be likeable.
And it's just not the way we know it's not sustainable.
Tracy says I've been under usingthe Academy.
This has motivated me. Oh, bless you.
And remember my friends, you do not have to use every single
course in the Academy in order for you to get value at it.
(50:19):
If you just take one program in the Academy, you have made your
money back more than made your money back.
Just think of it as like going to and all you can eat buffet
and whatever you you don't have to like gorge on every single
meal in order to get value out of it.
Just use what's important. I also highly recommend starting
(50:40):
with the Make Your Money Back Challenge, which is the course
that's first listed in the Academy.
That will take you like one to two hours Max, and it will save
you hundreds if not thousands ofdollars a year.
And then you just know your Academy membership's free.
Hooray, Hooray, Janet says. I've been in the Academy for a
few years. I haven't come close to getting
(51:01):
through all the amazing stuff inthere.
You don't have to just enjoy what you need.
It's like Netflix. You don't have to watch every
single show on fucking Netflix to love it, right?
You can just watch Bridget in, which is like sail Star or 40
days experience. Well all of them are really
Bridget in like I can't choose the Bridget in OK Charlie says
(51:22):
I'm also watching you on YouTubebut I cast it onto my 55 inch TV
so I'm seeing all your deliciousart so big.
It makes me so happy. It makes me so happy.
Sue says I loved Midas touch. It's so beautiful and powerful.
Oh that makes me so so happy. Renata says thank you Leonia.
(51:42):
I know you know but your beautiful colours and joy really
activate my ADHD brain. It's like a dopamine here.
It thrills me honestly I'm I feel so fucking lucky to get to
do this as a job. OK, I'll just add Zeta into the
mix so you can see her beautifulface as well.
So. Keeping and oh, Zeta always
(52:08):
likes to one Mikasa, the queen of our mascot, queen of the
world wants to join, which is really important.
Zita always likes to say make sure you e-mail her with little
ideas of things that she might like as a fairy because she
likes to be given gifts. So and then she'll send them to
me and hassle me into buying them for her because that's the
(52:30):
kind of work relationship we have, which is really important.
And lastly, Leonie dawson.com/academy, if you
aren't already in there, I wouldlove to just shower you with
generosity and delight and really give you support and love
and structure that you might be needing in order to start or
grow your business. Otherwise, I just wanted to say
thank you so much for choosing this friend, your precious time
(52:53):
with us. It's always such a joy and a
blessing to get to spend time with you all.
And I feel really honoured that I could that you get to choose
to spend time with me. It's such a blessing.
One last question, are you usingb.liveforstreamingnoweusedstreamyard.com?
(53:13):
And we love it. It's been really, really
helpful. All right, my friends, many,
many blessings to you. May your day be blessed.
And I really would love to see you sharing your work, your
wisdom, sharing those beautiful brownies of yours with the world
because we need you and people are are suffering without you.
(53:36):
So don't be selfish. Put your work out in the world.
Share those fucking brownies. All right, see you well
tomorrow, my friends. Love you.
Bye.
