Most people don’t know how to suffer well. What I mean by that is knowing how to walk through hard seasons WITH God instead of believing that He isn’t with you. In this episode I talk about seeing God in the hills and valleys of life. It’s so easy to see the goodness of God when He is blessing you and answering your prayers. But what about when things are tough and it’s hard to see His faithfulness. Will you still say God is Good?
I open up about mental health struggles as a believer. I talk about how I used therapy, scripture and prayer as a resource. I also talk about how to see God in seasons of uncertainty, the power of resilience, restoration, God’s promises and more. I even share resources and scriptures to help you navigate the valley seasons.
There’s something about the valley seasons that God does His best work in us and through us. I also recognize that God empathizes with us when we are in a valley season. He cares about our mental health. He cares about our well being. He is always working things together no matter what it looks like. That’s why He’s always good!
This may serve as a wake up call for some or an invitation to others, either way I pray that you hear it with love and that it blesses you beyond measure.
