What happens when you step away from social media? After two weeks off Instagram, I've discovered something surprising - a profound sense of serenity I didn't realize I was missing. That automatic phone-checking habit we've all developed has become so ingrained we barely notice how much energy it drains from our daily lives.

The revelation that's truly shifted my perspective is looking at wildly successful celebrities who've never had social media. Scarlett Johansson, currently Hollywood's highest-grossing actor, has zero social accounts. Neither do Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence. These are women at the absolute pinnacle of their industry, proving definitively that your power lies in your presence and your craft - not in your posting schedule.

And, as a special FREE bonus, I want to give you my "6 Journal Prompts To Coach Yourself To A Better Life In 6 Days!"

These prompts are perfect if you:

🎯 Feel lost in direction.

πŸ“‰ Battle feelings of inadequacy or constant comparison.

πŸ˜• Experience restlessness.

πŸ“† Find goal-setting or motivation challenging.

😐 Simply feel 'meh'.

Designed to dismantle obstacles, reshape your mindset, and cement unwavering confidence, these prompts are scarce gems in a sea of generic advice. 🚧🧠

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Let it Be Easy with Susie Moore.
Okay, my friends, I've been offInstagram, I think for two
weeks now, or something likethat, and I'm really enjoying it
.
I know it's a time suck.
I know it's really easy to justflip on your phone, wherever

(00:23):
you are, and just use any waittime to scroll, check your phone
first thing and have it justthis muscle memory right.
Check Instagram, checkInstagram or any other social
apps that you use, and it'sreally interesting.
Being off it for a while, Ialmost don't even notice.
Yet I think I do have a greaterfeeling of serenity and

(00:45):
yesterday, when I wanted to login to reach out to someone who I
only have conversations withvia DM, I just resisted it and
I'm like no, I'll do it anotherday, I'll do it another day this
week.
I really do recommend a break,my friends.
See who you are without socialmedia influences in your life,
in fact, who you are withoutsocial media influences in your

(01:07):
life.
In fact, I use the News FeedEradicator on my laptop for
Facebook because I havecommunity groups that I check in
with daily that I love, but Ionly want to go into my groups
and answer questions, so when Igo to Facebook.
There's no feed, it just has aninspiring quote, which is nice,
and then I can just focus onwhat it is that I'm there for.

(01:27):
I find this makes a hugedifference.
And then I started thinkingmore.
This isn't just in the lastcouple of weeks, but what I have
noticed and what I have beenthinking about more is how some
real celebrities so big ones whomake bank, who have a lot of
influence they don't have socialmedia at all.

(01:50):
In fact, I was just reading inthe press that Scarlett
Johansson is now the highestgrossing actor in Hollywood and
let me tell you she doesn't havesocial media.
She's never had social media.
I believe it's the same forEmma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence
, highest paid actresses trulyin demand without social media.

(02:17):
To me, this is proof thatpresence matters more than just
posting and doing the thingsthat other people are doing, and
that your power as a creative,as a human being, it's in your
work, it's in your energy, it'sin your choices.
Plus, I can't help but thinkthat mystery is magnetic.

(02:42):
Not everyone wants to see whatpeople are eating each day, or
how they're working out or whattheir vacation looks like.
To me, this is just evidencethat you don't have to be
everywhere.
I hope this comes as a reliefto you today.
My friends, what if we justpoured into our craft what we're

(03:02):
here to do, not just content?
To me, the craft, the workitself writing, releasing,
creating, showing up for othersand serving that's what lasts.
And to me, attention is energy.
I want to protect mine and Iwant to invest it where it

(03:25):
compounds, not just where itgets likes and engagements and
comments.
My friends, where are youputting your energy today?
Are you telling yourself a liethat I have to be everywhere?
I have to keep showing up, andI wonder if you took a little
break from whatever platformsyou're on.
And I wonder, if you took alittle break from whatever

(03:45):
platforms you're on, if you'dnoticed that really anything is
missing at all, or in fact yougained something.
Why not give it a try and see?
Until tomorrow, my friends, somuch love and ease.
Hey friend, I've got somethingreally cool for you.
