Have you ever wondered why some people achieve their dreams while others remain perpetually stuck at the starting line? The answer lies not in the choices we make, but in our commitment to those choices over time.

Choices surround us daily – where to live, who to love, how to earn a living – but the transformative power comes when we progress beyond the initial decision into true commitment. There's an undeniable thrill in declaring "I'm starting a business!" or "I'm learning a new skill!" The domain name is purchased, the equipment ordered, the announcement made on social media. Yet when obstacles inevitably arise – rejection, financial setbacks, waning motivation – many abandon ship, revealing their initial "commitment" as merely a temporary choice.

And, as a special FREE bonus, I want to give you my "6 Journal Prompts To Coach Yourself To A Better Life In 6 Days!"

These prompts are perfect if you:

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Let it Be Easy with Susie Moore.
Let's talk today, my friends, about choices.
The reality is we are alldoomed to make choices.
We have to.
We have to live somewhere, wehave to be with somebody if we

(00:22):
want to have a marriage orrelationship or not, which is
also a choice.
We have people in our lives whowe surround ourselves with, or
we don't.
We probably have to provide forourselves by means of some
career, or we don't.
There are choices that we haveto make, and I want to speak

(00:43):
today about the differencebetween a choice and a
commitment, because choices comeup all the time, every day.
Millions of little choices Iforget what the statistic is,
how many decisions we make a dayand to avoid decision fatigue,
we want to plan what to eat, plan what to wear, plan our
route to work, so that we canfree up the creative part of our

(01:06):
brain to focus on the moreimportant stuff.
Right, there's a lot ofresearch on all of this, but I
want to talk about something alittle different, which is the
difference between decidingsomething versus actually
committing to something, becauseoften I see people getting
excited, making choices, makingcommitments or micro commitments

(01:28):
, saying I'm going to start thisbusiness, or I'm going to start
this side hustle, or I'm goingto adopt this new hobby, or I'm
going to do X, y, z, right, whatever it is for you.
And that's cool.
It feels empowering and fun andenergizing to make a choice.
But that, my friend, is not thesame as a commitment.
So just say, today I decided tostart a side hustle in I don't

(01:51):
know the fashion business.
I could decide that today, buya URL, figure out some type of
trademark, work on my initiallaunch yes, all those things
could happen.
But what happens when there's asnag, there's a problem,
something doesn't go my way?

(02:12):
I get rejected.
Maybe I lose a bit of money.
Am I going to go back to thatchoice and go yeah, I don't know
anymore, I'm moving on.
Or am I, without even thinking, forging ahead because of my
commitment?

(02:35):
The biggest commitments are madedaily, not just once.
It's not like, oh, okay, yeah, you know, I'll have a baby,
that's an interesting choice.
And then, every single day, you're like, oh boy, yeah, I
want this, I don't want this.
Or you make a big move to a newplace in the world and you're
like, okay, I like it for threedays, but now I want to move

(02:56):
along.
Isn't it a commitment for aperiod of time when we follow
through, when we makecommitments that last in our
lives, we choose them every day.
We choose our family, we chooseour spouse, we choose our job,
we choose our home, we chooseour friends.

(03:17):
My friends, they are all dailyrenewals.
It's not a choice we made, youknow, three years ago, or it's
not a choice that we made a weekago and now you know how do we
feel about it.
If we are serious, if we wantto make progress, if we want to
reach that beautiful destination, however we define it, it is a

(03:38):
daily choice.
So, my friends, are youchoosing or are you committing?
Committing is just choosingagain and again, and again.
And when it comes to success,in whatever life area, you want
to achieve it, it's going totake some time.

(04:01):
So, are you choosing it, yourdesire, your dream, your goal,
every single day?
Because if you are, you haveunlocked the ultimate success
secret Until tomorrow.
My friends, so much love andease.

(04:22):
Hey friend, are you feelingstuck in any area of your life?
Right now, I've got you Withover a so much love and ease
days.
These are amazing.
If you feel stuck, if you everbattle self-doubt, if you feel
restless, if you find goalsetting challenging.
